Would you please tell me what kind of dog you have. She looks like my Yorkey terrier but my Yorky terrier is about 18 pounds. Yours is so small. Darling daisy has the floppy ears like my Yorky where most Yorkey Terriers like the little tiny toys have the ears that stand up so I’m just curious thank you. Also my dog is 14 years old . One day when I will regretfully have to replace her.... your dog seems to have the same exact temperament and personality as my Little Lexie Lou Lou.
If you're within weight specs and level when hitched, don't worry about it... We added our airbags and sulastic shackles to help with the ride.. Helped a little....
12:14 - those metallic organizers. I used one of those in our odd cabinet next to the kitchen. Screwed them in up on what you would consider the second shelf level. They fit spice n seasonings perfectly. Webber or Mccormick brand. And I put it just high enuff to store a row of seasonings under it. Also used in out medicine cabinet to get a shorty second level 'basket'. Small stuff like nail clippers, contact lens case, tweezers, etc. fit easy to get and out of the way.
Loved your inside storage ideas, shared with my wife as she is working at that with our class A. Love your videos enjoy all of them. You are REALLY neat people. Your ideas have helped me in more than once. Keep up the fine videos. Thanks Larry Miller retired with wife and dog. Love your dog darn cute.
Hey Chad, if the glue fails in the wardrobe, cut a full board to fit from the shelf just below to the bottom of the next. This way each shelf is fully supported by the shelf below it. Glue is nice, but not always up for the job.
Recess/and glue little round magnets, (both sides), in a piece of finished/stained 3/8 AC finished plywood to cover up those clothes, or find cabinet doors to match, even a black see thru net would be better advertising clothing...lol....
You could use baskets or fabric curtains to hide your clothes on those great shelves. Good bathroom organization. Great pantry ideas. Amazon has great pullouts for under the sink easy to install. I am 75 and did it myself. I even bought 1 for trash can and 1 for glass sauce pan lids. You have great ideas.
Check the flex seal regularly. It doesnt like uv from what I've seen on repair to customers rvs, it starts to bubble and dry crack. I believe it likes to be painted from what I've seen. It definitely doesn't like roofs
Nifty ideas and creative install ideas. You gave me a great idea for our travel trailer with the Gorilla Glue attachment. I love your pantry . . . And I'm a guy! That's a neat little man-condiment cave.
Daisy is super cute! What kind of dog is she? Thank you for the ductwork solution! I forward your video to my husband. LOVE how you’re sharing what others have done and has worked for you. Safe travels!
We are full timers as well. About your bedroom shelving by the bed, you could use a tension rod with a nice curtain made of any fabric you love or really pretty baskets, sometimes they are hard to find ones that fit certain spaces, but you could get lucky. Big lots is a great place to shop for different sizes of baskets. I actually found some white wire baskets, from big lots, for my fridge and freezer that fit like a glove and look as if they came with the rv. Love your ideas and video, I'll be getting some magnets for my bedroom door thanks to you guys.
I love the fact that anyone can tell how much the two of you love and appreciate each other. Love your videos! Have a good memorial day! and Thank you for your service Chad :-)
I love the little air nubbin.. great idea! I have a little AC hack on my channel I found when hunting for a way the flys were getting in. And found the air returns of the ac were full of wires!
The problem with command hooks on the RV walls, sometimes the wallpaper covering (our Fuzion toyhauler walls look identical to yours) starts to pull away from the actual wall substrate. Especially on exterior walls when sun/heat are bad.
The baskets you're using, two words....Dollar Tree. It's amazing at the different sizes available. I like seeing the actual size before I buy it. I look like an idiot with my tape measure in Dollar Tree but they fit perfect.
First of all, Thank You for your Service!! Our grandfathers (Army, WWI) and fathers (Navy, Korean War) all served and we very much appreciate all who have given of themselves to serve our great country. Thank you! Now, off to the hardware store for some nubbies.
There is always so many ways to better utilize space in an rv. They don’t have a lot of imagination when they build em. We have added a whole lotta hooks and shelves and such. Another great video guys. Thanks
Great information guys, thank you for all of your informative videos. I installed a 10'x4" PVC pipe cut into 2 and hung it in my basement for all of my fishing poles. I used plastic strapping to secure it to the ceiling.
Hey tara I am just watching your organisation video and I have a idea on how you can hide your clothes. You know those curtain cords with the hooks on each end for net curtains you could put one of those up with some material like a curtain and just pull it across the space
We thought we would get more done since we are stuck here for two months. But Larry is still working full time. Love the bigger top shelf. Excellent idea. We have hooks back there too. We put our laundry in the shower. We love those magnets. We have quite a few. They need to put pegs and holes in cabinets to move around shelves. Larry uses glue that is flexible instead of gorilla glue because of the movement that happens in RVs. You could put a little curtain for now to hide the clothes. We definitely need help in the pantry. We bought some bins with handles from the container store. You did a great job organizing. I think we will always be organizing. I want a pull out shelf too under the sink. Door stop? Very cool. My dogs hate those stairs. Especially Chewie. Very cool. Larry is definitely watching this. His honey do list has just gotten longer 🤣. Great job as always guys. We have a Solitude but a lot of these will work for us. Thanks. Take care. Alice
I love your videos, I like to see Chad's skills (I'm terrible at this, really lazy) and the organization of the beautiful Tara. Please don't stop! Hugs from Brazil!
At the time 20:25, for your cleaning supplies I use empty laundry detergent bottles cutting a opening at the top leaving the handles on them so if one starts to leak it is caught in the bottle and doesn't damage the camper.
We cut and put plexiglass in the screen door in the winter to help block wind when coming in and out of the door. I just made it a little snug and it held. It is also great if you have pets to protect the bottom screen.
Awesome little tidbits thanks for sharing. Going to share a safety tip. Take your oil off the counter next to your stove. If you have a fire that oil to feed it quickly. Don’t put it in a cabinet above the stove either. Both are extremely volatile and dangerous spots to put flammable liquids. It may be inconvenient but move them to your side cabinet or pantry.
Have an idea for your bedroom cabinet. You can take a spring loaded curtain rod and a curtain. Most like a kitchen size curtain will work. You can even hit the local fabric store and make one yourself. It will be easy to do. .
Yes I did projects while sheltering in place first cottonwood AZ. Then 5 weeks at quartzsite. Then 2 weeks in zion. Then 2 weeks in Bryce Canyon. Now 2 plus weeks at Capital Reef. All this boondocking has given me time to perfect my solar system. I am old so it has also given me ample time for naps.
Since I think I’m going to be sheltering in place until fall. I had some trailer legs.com installed. It wasn’t hard to do but had a learning curve in the end it WORKS! My double axel tires are all off the ground about an inch and I won’t get the dreaded flat area of my tires. It also stops almost all movement in the rig. Yay 😁
Hi Chad, I had a friend, much older than you, who passed away about 3 years ago. You look like you could be his Son. What a guy. You even have the same laugh. I love to watch you two, I'm learning a lot and ready to buy. I'm traveling alone so I decided to purchase a 30 foot C class. Although I like a fifth wheel better I think it would be to difficult to handle being alone. You tell that sweet wife of yours how lucky she is. And Tera if you are reading my comment, Tell that big lug how lucky he is. lol Hey, I bought a TP hanger on Amazon that has a shelf for your Smart phone.. And I use it. -keith.
Great video! Daisy is too cute. We had a morky that was colored yorkie and not white Maltese. She acted the same as Daisy though. What a character! LOL
My fav mod was doing the Garage bunk conversion like ya'll did. I had front and rear facing couches and had to buy brackets for side to side couches. I mounted 3/4 plywood on the tops and now have desks for my wife and I to work from home. All i need to do now is figure out a solution for the dovetail in the back, we loose 21" of floor space in the very back of the camper. That's my next project.
Great ideas! We are contractors with Fedex Custom Critical and get paid to travel in our custom built truck. We also are Indian riders! We have a 2016 Vintage and 2017 custom Roadmaster
Hi Chad and Tara, thanks for so many great tips, my wife Jeanne and I love your videos. We recently bought a new 5th wheel and yesterday I added 4 shelves (sooner than later) based on Chad's suggestion to NOT wait!
You guys are the best. Chad is always busy...lol Great job Chad. If the virus did any thing good...the Honey do list is FINALLY CONQUERED!!! AND DAISY...OMG, I can't wait to see her in the videos. ❤️❤️❤️You guys
Nice ideas, gonna get the magnets right away for a problem bedroom door. Just today I added a metal basket to basement compartment for windex bottle, simple green bottle and ant spray cans etc. mounted on wall holds everything. New wrap it storage straps to hoses, extension cords and hang in basement compartment. Gonna due my a/c roof units cleaning per your video. Comb and cleaner purchased today. Lol now gotta go get those door bumps to add to ducts for a/c. Great video as usual. 👍
You can always use plastic storage bins to create makeshift "drawers" for things that you need to get to the back of. Plastic containers and lids can be in one. Pot lids in another. Cleaning supplies in another.
I picked up some great ideas from you two, I have a toy hauler also and when I'm on unlevel ground my ramp door will have a small gap so I'm waiting to see how your project works out.One idea I have for your bedroom closet door is:Put two tracks on top and two on the bottom, stain two pieces of lauon (not sure of spelling)put a finger hole in each piece.Install them in the tracks so they slide back and forth behind each other. Keep the ideas coming Gary Nebitt,Chattanooga,TN.
🤔 For the open shelves in your room you could use some nice cloth baskets and the Konmari folding method. That would look really nice and hide the clothing from sight.
Hi Guys. Your improvements to storage and organization in the kitchen were superb. Great ideas. Anytime you can add a shelf or find better storage bins is always a big plus when living in a small space. Nice job! You deserve a beer now. Go get one.
Just saw this yesterday - Tara, your organization skills for your RV are OUTstanding.. I'm going to make sure my wife sees this - it'll help her immensely... Of course, now I'm gonna get a brand new 'honey-do' list... Dang it Chad... LOL
Roll-top might work, like for a desk. The one my Uncle had used a sturdy fabric base and glued the slats to it and routed a channel, but you might be able to bend PVC, then cut it in half. (bend first cut second) so the PVC holds it's shape then glue it in with your Gorilla glue.
Love your organizing ideas and your channel! 🧲 I am not sure if anyone has suggested this, but you mentioned Chad added magnets to your doors. Have you thought about magnets on your metal baskets? For example, the basket you have behind your stove top, you could add magnets to the bottom of the basket? That way you wouldn't have to stow your baskets every time you travel?
We got a magnetic door stop for bedroom door best thing ever. The door use to open when traveling and bang around now just stays in place. I think a quick solution in the bedroom instead of doors get a $2 tension rod at dollar general and them some fabric and make like a curtain. Lover your tp placement.
Moving up to a 5th Wheel tomorrow actually....We are not going to be full-timers...but I am wanting to get better organized since we will have more space....finally...great tips...Thanks!!!!
Great video. I found slides for a trash can and a slide to hold pots and pans at lowes. You can even attach your current door so instead of swinging it open, it slides open with the slide. Ive got my trash can slide attached to the door so i slide the door and the cans out in the open . Makes it alot easier. Hope you enjoyed your holiday.
I have seen that Sorbus has some clothing boxes/bags that have little see-through windows on one side and pull handles on the end sides. You could put them on your lower shelves in the bedroom and pull them halfway out to see what's inside, yet not see them from the front. I didn't look into them enough to see what sizes they come in but might be a helpful idea for hiding clothes on the open clothing shelves.
I liked the bedroom door magnet tip- its now on my list. I added a door light switch (search door light switch @ Lowes) to our pantry. I just spliced into the existing manual light switch and ran it over to the new door switch. Another one of those "why don't they add this at the factory" upgrades. Hardest part was mounting the switch. Nothing some scraps of wood and Gorilla glue couldn't tackle.
Love these ideas!! Our fridge does that swinging shut as I’m loading food so I can’t wait to see if there’s a location where we could use that great magnetic idea .. thank you!
The fix you made for your diffusers has only pressurized the air feed thus giving a higher reading. Same amount of air. The volume is set by the fan speed. It also will lncrease the noise volume.
Enjoy your videos and love your ideas for modifications and fixes. One thing that really helped me organize our clothing is packing cubes from ebags. I roll all of our clothing in them and it holds more and they don't wrinkle as much. We have a class B so being organized and compact is essential for us.
Love your dog,so cute and intelligent. Very good ideas with the organization. We just bought a new RV its small and I’m trying to get it organized. Got good ideas from you. Thanks
Have you thought about a spring rod with an attractive cloth curtain to cover your open bedroom storage? Quick, no tools required and allows easy access. Add a splash of contrasting color to your bedroom!!
You guys do such a good job at explaining everything..makes a future full timer feel more comfortable knowing that the knowledge is here when we need it. Thank you for doing what you do!
My husband and I watch your channel a lot and use your suggestions. We just bought a new DRV and it has a walk in pantry. I love how you've organized your pantry and will use those tips on mine. Love you guys! And little Daisy, too. ❤

I really don’t understand why anyone would give you guys a thumbs down. Love your channel.
There are a lot of people out there who dislike everything in general.. No hope for them.. LOL Thanks for watching! 😊
quick question, I just got the GMC 3500 dually.
Some say airbag it and some dont. I tow a Fuzion 427, whats your thoughts?
its a 2020

Daisy is super cute! What kind of dog is she? Thank you for the ductwork solution! I forward your video to my husband. LOVE how you’re sharing what others have done and has worked for you. Safe travels!
Daisy is a "Morkie", which is a Maltese/Yorkie mix. 🐶 Thanks for watching! 😊

I adore the puppy. Also, baskets would look good for the bedroom shelves.
For your bedroom open shelving solution, look into tambour style door.
Interesting idea! Thanks for the tip! 👍🏼
I love the fact that anyone can tell how much the two of you love and appreciate each other. Love your videos! Have a good memorial day! and Thank you for your service Chad :-)
Don’t sell yourself short, you did an amazing job organizing the kitchen and bathroom cabinets.
Tara:”I don’t want to get rid of it, because we may need it.” That is what got me into, the state I’m in now!!! Too much junk!!! 😂🤣
OMG this is 3 years old but still some great info. I like the AC vent hack and the carpet for the stairs. 😊Daisy is just too adorable. 😊
Fabulous!! I love Daisy! Such a doll baby. Live you guys too
I love the little air nubbin.. great idea! I have a little AC hack on my channel I found when hunting for a way the flys were getting in. And found the air returns of the ac were full of wires!
Yea.. we cover tidying up the returns a bit here: ua-cam.com/video/Gbm8hOyZlrU/v-deo.html
To see how much Daisy loved her new steps, that's my favorite!!
Try using industrial velcro. I've used it for big heavy headboards. Takes a lot to remove it.
When you opened the Pantry door I literally said, “WOW!” because that’s exactly what I need for my RV pantry!
Love y’all videos!
Have you re-weighed your rig lately with all the added shelves and additional supplies? Adds up quick.
Not yet.. but, we will....
You guys are the Chip and Joanna Gaines of RVing! Skye and Wolf, anticipating our GD 397TH-R in about 4 months.
You 2 have some good ideas thanks for all the videos
Those magnet hacks are awesome! Very smart! We were excited about great use of baskets, but you guys took it to the next level!
The problem with command hooks on the RV walls, sometimes the wallpaper covering (our Fuzion toyhauler walls look identical to yours) starts to pull away from the actual wall substrate. Especially on exterior walls when sun/heat are bad.
Maybe they do something different at GDRV? We use them all over the place for 3 years now and have never had any separation (knocking on wood) 😊
@@ChangingLanes could be. Mainly it's on the side walls where over time, sun vs. weight on the hook
For your open shelf in the bedroom, you can get a spring tension rod and a pretty piece of material, lacy sheer or towel and make a loop for the rod.
The baskets you're using, two words....Dollar Tree. It's amazing at the different sizes available. I like seeing the actual size before I buy it. I look like an idiot with my tape measure in Dollar Tree but they fit perfect.

Great Video !
Order the same doors as above from Grand Design and put the handles up and not down. The doors will match too
The doors above are too tall. We've measured every cabinet door in here with that idea in mind, but none match up.
I am putting velcro straps for my baskets, to keep from sliding
Hey tara I am just watching your organisation video and I have a idea on how you can hide your clothes. You know those curtain cords with the hooks on each end for net curtains you could put one of those up with some material like a curtain and just pull it across the space

Add nice deep matching baskets for that shelf area in bedroom.

Daisy is precious. Great tips. Especially the a/c vent thingamagigy ,,,,,I’m gonna do it.
We got a magnetic door stop for bedroom door best thing ever. The door use to open when traveling and bang around now just stays in place. I think a quick solution in the bedroom instead of doors get a $2 tension rod at dollar general and them some fabric and make like a curtain. Lover your tp placement.

Sorry if it’s been asked but what stain did you use for the new shelves? Color, etc. thank you!
It was Minwax "Espresso" 👍🏼
I have seen that Sorbus has some clothing boxes/bags that have little see-through windows on one side and pull handles on the end sides. You could put them on your lower shelves in the bedroom and pull them halfway out to see what's inside, yet not see them from the front. I didn't look into them enough to see what sizes they come in but might be a helpful idea for hiding clothes on the open clothing shelves.
Good changes for sure! I am showing my Angry Texan the d ring for hoses hack. SMART! Also that pantry is good to go!
Enjoyed seeing all of your modifications. Your pantry transformation was amazing! Love it!
I like that idea!!!! 👍🏼
Did I see a Maine Lobstah magnet on the fridge?!?
Love these ideas!! Our fridge does that swinging shut as I’m loading food so I can’t wait to see if there’s a location where we could use that great magnetic idea .. thank you!
Chad, have you done a video showing how you organized your basement? Thanks!
We talked about it a bit in our tools video: ua-cam.com/video/SmoZx61dGrc/v-deo.html
The fix you made for your diffusers has only pressurized the air feed thus giving a higher reading. Same amount of air. The volume is set by the fan speed. It also will lncrease the noise volume.
In bedroom space use two tension rods one at top and bottom use short curtians that are hemed top and bottom To go on rods, it covers the space.
Thanks
Pantry looks amazing 🙌
Have you thought about a spring rod with an attractive cloth curtain to cover your open bedroom storage? Quick, no tools required and allows easy access. Add a splash of contrasting color to your bedroom!!
That's exactly what I was thinking.
Those command hooks didn't work when I put them on a papered wall. They just dropped off.. those clothes hampers cost £1. In B&M
Pretty sure our walls are wallpaper... Did you clean the area before applying them, then press them for 60 seconds?
You guys do such a good job at explaining everything..makes a future full timer feel more comfortable knowing that the knowledge is here when we need it. Thank you for doing what you do!
Like the magnet ideas.Cover bedroom shelf with a picture magnets to hold it up.
Spring rod and a curtain.
Love your videos so much! You give really great strait forward, helpful information. Keep the videos coming, I'll keep watching!
You say you're not good at organizing but I have to say you are wrong. The two of you have done some great things there. Thanks for the ideas. 🙂
My husband and I watch your channel a lot and use your suggestions. We just bought a new DRV and it has a walk in pantry. I love how you've organized your pantry and will use those tips on mine. Love you guys! And little Daisy, too. ❤
What breed of dog is Daisy? She’s adorable..! 💗
