i currrently have one here im doing with the same cam, however it is a ve ssv, but has afr mongoose cnc heads, so could be similar results, am installing a new converter tho a LuK TorCon, they seem to be all the talk in the usa for stock replacement now

I certainly wouldn't modify a VF2 SS with the things already mega collectors items and values projected to increase massively in the next ten years.
But that being said any 2014-2015 Maloo or Clubsport is fair game for similar mods.

Can you do a tune on the stock car when you do the 1st runs so you can get a good idea on the improvements from the work after the cam swap
Thats exactly what I want to do to my VF2 SS wagon. I saved money to buy a Dart 7L short motor from lsx performance but it gave me time to come to my senses. would this setup work well with a stroker kit in the LS3?

This video shows most of the power from the heads come from the decking. The cnc porting doesn’t add much
@@steve1714 dead right! These heads already flow exceptionally well. Value for money though the difference between a complete service and deck vs cnc option and deck we find most people opt for the cnc in any case. With Rectangle ports though it’s only with about 10hp with a decent cam.

They don’t do much. I have the dpe big boy which what this system is and they’re not loud anyway. I used the factory bimodal valves and put dump pipes before the mufflers and have a plug in module that you can open and close it without the stupid way they have the bimodal control done on the head unit
A converter added to the car is alot quicker. Less dyno figure but quicker
