    I’m assuming this was recorded in 4k, how do you transfer 4k footage to your devices? When I transfer it seems to look like 1080p instead of 2160?

      Put Slog-2 profile in the camera and use Davince Resolve for editing. In the video description you can find some of my color filters for davinci resolve.

    Amazing footage you have any tips for shooting slog2 outside ? Do u ever use the exposure meter ? Really love the style of your videos ❤

    • @marlonhammes
      @marlonhammes  Рік тому +1

      I don't use any methodology for this. And I don't use a light meter either, I just do it on my feeling, looking in the LCD. Sometimes the light gets a little overexposed/underexposed, but I try to correct it in the editing software.

    1/60 shutter? If so, try lower for your 30p footage. 1/30 or 1/40 since 1/50 will be too close. Though if you need to film artificial lights in a PAL region, you'll need the 1/50, OR 1/33.3 (if you can't select that, try inputting it as shutter angle of 324 degrees). The closer the shutter is to either the frame rate when above 40fps, or to 1/40 or 1/50, the more natural the blur will look. This is because our eyes see 40-60 fps or so, casually speaking as "smooth", but they DON'T operate with a difference between shutter (exposure time) and frame rate (information per interval).
    It's why 24p/25p with 180-deg or 1/48-1/50 shutter looks "natural". The natural part is the shutter, the lie is the low frame rate. It's why anything besides 24 or 25 with the 180-deg garbage rule has the soap opera effect. Seriously, run 1/40-1/50 shutters until your reach 40-50fps, then run 360 shutters from there up. All your filming will suddenly look natural and lack the SOE. If you want it extra creamy, run 30p with a 1/30th shutter. Or, like I said about the artificial lights, whatever stops the flicker (flicker calculator can be found here: www.red.com/flicker-free-video)
