Pretty good video but there's no reason to use a long breaker bar to tighten the filter. Just get as tight as you can with your hands and it's good to go.
Well the metal drain plug itself should last the life of the car as long as its threads don't somehow get damaged. The o ring ideally would be replaced every time, but using it twice generally shouldn't be an issue.
Hey idk if you’ll see this haha but I’m that grubhub driver you met a while ago outside of that McDonalds in south Salem. I was curious if I could bug you to help me put in new headlights on my car.
wow, so glad i watched this... haven't had a car that had so much oil above the filter in the system to drain out

only used it because it was my only half inch drive that was handy, but I didnt wrench it down much.
Last time I hand tightened an oil filter when I was younger, it cost me an engine... hand tighten they said. 😂
@@mmxcix may be leak oil from engine
Thank you Chris.
can i get a link for the user manual you used in the video?
Super helpful thank you!
Awesome video bro!!
Thanks!😁
The 1.3 engine is so small , how did they manage to make the engine block so small.
Well its a small and lightweight car, but remember some motorcycles like the R6 and 600RR have 4 cylinder engines that are even smaller, 0.6 Liters!
Can you reuse the drain plug and O ring? I read somewhere to replace it every other oil change.

Sure, no problem. If you send me an email at chris.toolboxinfo@gmail.com we can go from there.
What’s that green can you got after you put your 5w-30 in there?
@@trapace6292 just some more 5w30, the 5qt jug was half full that I just had sitting on the shelf.
Don’t use a torque wrench to loosten things
For sure thats correct, I think I was away from my usual tools and this was the only 3/8's I had to fit that socket set😅
How do I know what size filter i should get?
Most places that sell filters will have a part book next to them that lists the correct one. Walmart, O'reilly etc..
👍👍👍👍
