From the very first time I heard Yebba (Abby) sing this song I've thought "This is the most deeply and emotionally moving" song I've EVER heard. And that remains true to my heart.
I'm a 56 year old classic rocker, but I've watched AT LEAST 50 different reactions to Yebba, especially this song, after discovering it a couple years ago. She's something special, no doubt. Check out Evergreen, and October Sky (live).
I just got into Yebba this year with her album Dawn and got blown away by her voice and lyrics. Her recent Tiny Desk performance is amazing too if you have interest in checking it out. I've never seen this performance tho, C H I L L S .
Great reaction!!! Yebba is Abbey spelled backwards, a nickname her mom gave her when she was little. She is simply amazing! I strongly suggest you react to her duet with Clark Beckham covering the song Gravity. It's beyond stupendous...also should check out her originals, Evergreen and October Sky (both songs about her mom who committed suicide - powerful to say the least) AND her new song Boomerang. The live version of it is everything! I'm obsessed if you couldn't tell :)
I second the "Stand" Tiny Desk performance...and if you want to hear something completely nut, the Live Stream of "Boomerang" by Yebba. The band is crazy amazing!
I second the vote for her Tiny Desk performance and add her live version of Boomerang! Who am I kidding, I add all her live performances… Evergreen, October Sky, Gravity and Smoke.
Beautiful job! It's a joyful thing to watch people discover Yebba! Anything she does is amazing, but my personal favorite is her performance of Gravity. Thanks! Mama T.
I just started following you guys I love your reactions I think you'd really really really appreciate Yebba live boomerang trust me it's good for the soul.
Side note ...her mother committed suicide one week before she did this live performance...not relevant to song nor lyrics ..but testiment to an artist that gave us beautiful lyrics ❤️
why is the dude just wobbling and smiling around, looking at the camera constantly when the topic is that serious... high or something?...so out of place really
Pain meets preparation for a singer once in a lifetime who is really real.
Yebba Stand Tiny Desk performance. Even the backing vocals were insane.
I second this. Its one of the greatest performances I have seen in a long time. Yebba will be there for years to come.
the entire tiny desk was great
so true
I love watching people discover Yebba. Every song she does is a FEEL.

Such a powerful live performance! Reminds me of Etta James singing I'd Rather Go Blind in Montreux in 1975.
Yes yess…Yebba is so fooking amazing and she is getting better😩😩👏🏻👏🏻

Yebba is amazing, love her!!!
The management had told the audience this would be recorded live and had asked the audience not to clap until after the performance
Boomerang live….her voice is bananas💛

This song makes my spirit tingle and weep, her mother died of cancer right before this was recorded.
her mom actually committed suicide, and was just a few days after this perfomance.
react to her tiny desk performance !!!

YEBBA-DABBA-DOO........"you better sing, girl !"........
Grammy worthy performance
Travis and Suzi holding back tears .
My man: just sit still and listen.
I was thinking the same thing. Especially such an emotional song like this one lol
her mom passed 3 days before this performance. she said she will never do it live again, but man that vulnerability is untouchable.
She lost her mom at the time she wrote this song her mom called her Yebba which is Abbey backwards.
How on earth are those people still sitting? They must be in shock.
Y'all should watch evergreen by Yebba it'ss amazing!!

She makes the autocorrect auto tuning vocal people look like robots It is robotic and it has a robotic adjustment on it
