Hi! i am fairly new to fusion and I have been trying out various methods to create a sine wave along a shape to make a vase but I am not able to. Is is possible if you could point me to a few possibilities to create it if I send you an image of it?
Hi Justin thanks for the video I know you posted it a few years ago but it is still relevant today I have just used it on a 3d printed part. thanks again
Thank you. That was very helpful and instructive. It had exactly the right difficulty level for me (kinda experienced beginner) and I even learned some more about setting planes that I wasn't aware before. And you did that slow enough for me to follow.
Hi Justin thank you so much your tutorials they are so valuable. I have a question about how to create rounded rails next to each other so that there are short creases. I looks like the surface you made at 7:41. I can't find anything online about creating creases or creating rounded areas next to each other like the surface you created. I hope you can help. Thank you and best.
Hi Justin, these tutorials are fantastic. I'm looking to make a 90 degree tapering connector for dust extraction with different dimensions at each end. Would that be easier using the sweep tool or loft tool? I would need to hollow it out.
What an excellent video in just 10 minutes. I hope you consider making new content, it is excellent and I love that you don't drag it out just right into it.
This is really good but how can I follow a path in 2 separate sketches. So in your 6th example I not only want to follow a path on the Y axis but also the z axis as well? I'm trying to model a bike handlebar which twists up and backwards and I don't know how this can be done.
Great video. I'm just starting out with Fusion, but have a lot of experience with Sketchup. I'm familiar with Sketchup's Followme tool, and this seems similar but much more advanced. My designs are wood projects, and I need ways to do trim boards.
Great video, thank you very much! 👍 I got a question: I've got a "creative" spline that intersects itself several times, but itself is an open path. I hope that makes sense. And I'm trying to sweep a half circle (or even circle) along that path but without any success. I tried both Solid and Surface, but nothing seems to work. Ideally I'd like to have a half circle to sweep along the path so it's hollow inside. For the profile I'm using a sketch that's a half circle, offset it by 0.5mm and closed at the base - so that the profile is a closed path. I'm getting "The body would intersect itself" errors. How would you approach such a sweep? Or is there a different way altogether to achieve this? Thank you!
Ok, I still haven't figured out how to solve this, but I know now how to better phrase (I hope) what I'm trying to do.. What's the approach to sweep along high curvature areas so intersection resolves or "joins" It's similar to this video here ua-cam.com/video/3o0qSliF4vs/v-deo.html but there is just resolves.
This video confused me. It goes way too fast in certain areas, even if I slowed the video down to .25 speed. You also forget to mention the basics such as pressing the shift key to select multiple lines at the same time or that you were using the 3-point arc tool. This video is very confusing to beginners who are being forced to complete these exact parts in class and can be frustrating. I would not recommend this video.
If you're having a hard time with basic concepts like this, you really need to be starting with a beginner tutorial like this - ua-cam.com/video/h10qk4MnAK0/v-deo.html - If I covered every single basic concept in every video, we'd never be able to get anywhere.
same here, i follow videos from oldest to new ones. started with "Getting started with fusion 360 part 1-5" and that part was a surprise... x0,25 didnt help.. I didnt watch fckn Woodworkers tutorial yet so........ but anyways this guy is still the best, love him
I have to make an exponential horn that needs to keep the integrity of its “horn” profile while having the horn curve into complex shapes. How can I do this?
Hi everyone! Let me know if you have any questions about the sweep tool in the comments below! :)

could you show how to do a hole in the sweep tool using guide rails ? please
is it possible to create a swept path in all 3 Dimensions?
Hi whats the difference between sweep and pipe tool?

Your Fusion 360 tutorials should get A LOT MORE attention. You explain the most complex features of Fusion 360 so fluently. Thank you for sharing
I have to say this has been one of the best videos to help me understand fusion tools. Thank you so much!
Incredible tutorial. Your pacing is stellar, as are your explanations.
Dude, it's unfair that a gem like this isn't getting the needed attention
Thank you so very much, No 1 I understand you, No 2 you do this at the perfect speed. No 3, this is TOTALLY useful!!!
This is so helpful. Exactly what i needed to finish my project. Thanks
Exactly what i have been looking for! Thanks!
Fantastic, helpful, lots of depth, and you hint things go even deeper with this tool. Go deeper!

Incredibly helpful!
Great video! Good work, thanks man you are the best!
loved the way you teach.... keep on keeping on !!!
Good, concise, clear and quick
Thank you! this video was every useful!
Thank very much for this video watching it seems easy your explanations are clear . Merci!!
Hi! I'm following and following along in real time but got lost at 2:32 when creating the offset plane. Anyone able to the purpose of this step?
Thank you. That was very helpful and instructive. It had exactly the right difficulty level for me (kinda experienced beginner) and I even learned some more about setting planes that I wasn't aware before. And you did that slow enough for me to follow.
Good reminder, thank you !
What about the type option "Path + Guide Surface" ?
Man saved me I had an exam today , thanks man :)

that's pretty cool; more videos on that would be fun!
Good i love youtube 3mins in and u solved my problem was missing moving the plain the the shape i santed to sweep around thanks heaps

Great, I learned something very powerful

How would you do a twist? Im trying to make a christmas ornament but want it to swirl starting 3/4 of the way down and into a point.
Can the sweep do a 360-degree shell?
Super helpful, thank you!
thank you so much for sharing this!!
OMG, 3 mins in and mind blown!. Subbed :)
Can you sweep with the rectangle? Or only with the corcle
Extremely helpful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, this was extremely helpful.
Thank you, very useful.
Brother . Thank you so much for those videos!.....
As ever, excellent.
Thank you very helpful!
Awesome! Thanks a lot!
you're awesome! thanks!

I hope you're ok and that wasn't a SOS
hey, u r the blender guy!
this does not help. making a marble track and need to dip below the surface and twist and turn,. all the sweep tutorials are these easy noob ones..

Can you stop jump scaring me in your intro?

How do you hide the lines that are created on the curves ?
