I have a summit mount .... broke mine on a stump as well. Like you it was 100% my fault. I emailed them trying to buy the part I broke and he sent me one free. Great customer service. Im making some changes to my set up but I plan on buying another to have as a back up once I get everything dialed in. I agree that the adjustable angle is super important for perspective mode.
I am mounting the LS 34 on the true scanner starboard side, is the LS cord facing forward or towards the back? In your video yours is forward and on the Garmin book it shows to the back ?
Better check that book again bud. The cord will be in the front on the starboard side. The cord will be in the back on the port side. atlaske-content.garmin.com/%2Fasset%2Fimages%2FSHaft_mount_Prop_and_Motor_Time1614374562766.PNG
Your also speaking of the lvs34. Now that will be mounted with the cord in the back regardless of the side due to the thru bolt design of the transducer.
@@The_Garmin_Guru I`´m not a native speaker so it´s a little bit difficult to explain. I1m talking about Minute 3.37. As far as my Mount is concerned, the forward mode is locked, when the Top of the Transducer ist parallel to the surface. Your trancducer seems to be in a sort ob backward mode with the Bottom of the transducer parallel to the ground of the lake. I can´t fix this position with my mount from Kaiser Edelstahl. Naturally you kann use a sort of backward mode to look forward too, but I don´t know, if this has some affect on the elektronik especially on marking a waypoint for instance.

Thanks brother - still drilling 16” ice here but I’ll be ready!
My stepdad is heading to ice fish in Minnesota as we speak
Summit has great products and outstanding customer service Todd Dye is fantastic to do business with.
Yes sir. He’s great for sure
Can you change the 8 degree offset with this mount in forward mode? Its driving me nuts.
When you are moving the transducer around like that which movements require a recalibration?
Switching from forward/down to perspective or vice versa

Hey brother do you still use the Summit mount or have you found something better?
Still using it daily. Love it still
Do you happen to know if the Summit Mount will work with the LVS 34? Thanks!
I’ve messaged them. Waiting on a response
Thanks
Yes sir.
When you see your jig on screen, then move it to the right, it shows onscreen that it moved left instead of right. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance!
Inbox me on Facebook bud. I’m a little confused.
Hey Guru,Did you loose your Simulator Content when you downloaded the new up date V19.20 ?
Yes. They say you have to download some special download. Never seen it tho
I have the summit mount and now see why my images aren’t clear like yours!
That’s awesome bud
How visually do you know the perspective beam is straight?
I use the icon on the screen to get the angle I want.
I can't see the beam angle on mine how do you change it to see beam angle instead of direction
Calibrate and make sure ahrs is on
The first picture is certainly not fowardmode!
What mode would it be
It’s in the starboard side of the pole and angled correctly. Do you want a diagram
