HI! how would you bring in blueprint for better business into an evaluation point in an essay? If i said something along the lines of it mentioning the principle of 'humanity dignity' which could be used to futher support Kant's ideas of treating people as ends in themselves for example, would this work as an aspect of an evaluation point?
Hi Chloe, if the question specifically asks for Kant I would only use Kant, if the question is open on business you can discuss business using parts of Kant and/or Util to make your argument. If the question asks for Util and Business I would apply both act and rule :)
your videos are so so helpful thank you so much! in terms of answering a general business question such as globalisaiton, CSR or capitalism/consumerism e.c.t. as stated on the spec, would you advice incorporating much of the util and Kant approaches?

I am so pleased my videos are helping :) If it is a generic question (specific to CSR for example) you can discuss the theories (Kant/ Util) but only as an extension of your business points. Do not focus on them as a distraction from business only as an evaluative extension. You could answer a whole essay without them and still do extremely well. If the question is specific e.g CSR then it might be easier to link to theories but make sure you use them only in relation to the specific theme in the question. Hope that makes sense :)

Would you need to apply both Kant and Utilitarianism, or just one? Similarly, if applying Utilitarianism would you have to consider both Act and Rule?
