Thanks Tammy for the experiment video! BTW...your Canadian friends had a long weekend for Labour Day too😘 we both learned something..lol Luv ya more😁😘😘
Great info. I just got my Australia floetrol and I used it to mix with all my colors like you would American. Did a swip and it was an utter failure lol. I just couldn’t figure out what all the hype was about this great cell maker. This clears it all up. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
You picked beautiful colors to this painting love how it turned out. In a future video can you go over how to hold the pallet knife for a swipe please 😁
I love following your videos and I simply have to ask you a question that I hope you can answer. I have just started on pearl pouring and have succeeded in getting the pearls. However, if I wish to add more colour / play with and rework the composition and colours a bit, how do I avoid leaving holes when I make a line or similar, or avoid mounts with too much paint on the canvas ? I am inspired by SaraTaylor who always plays with the colours after pouring, but I don’t understand how the surface can still look so even afterwards ? Do you have any videos on that ? Or know someone who does ?
Tammy, i have trouble with consistency due to poor eyesight. What brand of white paint did you use with the Aussie Floetrol, please? I have Amsterdam T white and Aussie floetrol atm... Would your 1:3 ratio work out the same consistency? I think I could judge all my colors from that, if I knew it was right. Please could you help? 🙏
You could use the consistency chart. She has one somewhere on this channel. It's a piece of paper and you out your mixed paints in a circle on the edge then lift the paper straight up n down and see how far the paint travels. That's where the "this is about a 6" or "these are mixed thin to a 9" comes from. It's referencing that consistency chart. Maybe someone will see your comment and have a link to one of the videos she has showing it. Or browse through her videos and see if you can find one about paint consistency chart. Or you can just do it without the chart. I used to save cereal boxes and cut them up to test paint consistency or colors or use them to try color combos using just a small amount before doing it on a bigger canvas. I used them for resin too. They work well for swiping, scooping up table paint, corner protectors when you're tilting, all sorts of stuff. That's was extra info. lol. But I hope this helps you!😊
I find Lolivefe to be overpriced/overrated and they've sold me items knowing they were damaged. You, my dearest Tammy have yet again impressed me with a masterpiece from a simple experiment with paint. 👏 I can't wait to see what you do to embellish it. 🤗😘
QQQ Don't you need to be careful of sucking up your white base when you are squirting the colors in? I would think that would change your colors in the bottles???❤❤❤❤
You do NOT want to put water in your acrylic paints. It breaks down the paint and the ability for it to bond. It may look ok at first, but it won't last.
It actually wont do that if you add very little (a small squirt) at a time and stir well. When you just pour in water it will do that....its sooooo very important to just add a pinch at a time and mix well
I think you mean that it dilutes the binders. However, if you buy quality soft and hard body paints you can add up to 30% water without compromising the binders. Obviously adding water to craft paint is a bad idea.
17:32 You can always let it dry and make skin jewelry or even entire paintings with the dry skins (waste) 😮😮😮😮 It's only waste if you let it be. Think outside the box. I use it to do vases and jewelry.
Beautiful painting! Love the color palette! Can’t wait to see the finished product. Thanks Tammy!
That’s lovely, looks like sand and sea, love it and thanks for doing this, I really enjoy your no nonsense approach, very refreshing😊
Thanks for the experiment. Now we know!❤
Thank you for sharing this video its very helpfull and beautifull work 👏🤗

Beautiful❤❤❤❤
Great example Tammy!! Yes please let us see what you do with this painting. Thanks for sharing & have a great week. 😊💖
Beautiful drips with a lot of cell action! Fun test. Thanks for experimenting for us viewer's 💖💖💖
I hope you do embellish the first painting into a geode painting that would be super pretty!
Thank you.

Thanks for sharing! I agree the first painting looks beautiful! And making cells is great with Australian floetrol!
I’m with you! Beautiful geode painting just waiting for embellishments! 😁
Wondering why you didnt torch for air bubbles? That might of brought up cells as well right? You are the expert!!!
🎉🎉🎉 love watching your experiment!
In order to keep costs down, you could use 3 parts American Floetrol to 1 part Aussie Floetrol for the cell activator...😊
You picked beautiful colors to this painting love how it turned out. In a future video can you go over how to hold the pallet knife for a swipe please 😁
Well, that’s a cool idea. Looks cool too… I bet it would be awesome with a blow dryer on it as well.
Thank you ❤
Awesome Tammy.
You ae one of my mentors. I will be sending you my subscribers after I get my site up and running! boB
I bet it would be cool to do a blow dryer on it right now or a swipe without anything on your Swiper

@@PNWCagey-Dub thanks 🙏
Then why waste the Australian flo...if I not going to get cells? Was the point on using just to do regular paint?
What would we do if we wanted it a little thicker and didn't have anything to thicken it.

Love you love your videos. You’re the best as I start laughing paint in your armpit ha ha ha yeah I know all about that. Kind of crap.😊😊😊😊

Seems like a huge waste with how much paint came off of the painting.
What an original comment on a fluid art painting.....

Tammy makes paint skins from the spillage. They are amazing what she does with them. Have a look through her videos !
