    You just got trolled by M.T.H. the beginning song is called your small hands. They released this as a troll song after the birth of the drummers child as they told their fans they were changing their style. They have twenty years of killer music to experience and yes most of it incorporates many different genres. They are a completely unique band.

  • @Socrates_1775
    @Socrates_1775 2 роки тому +17

    As said before, the first punk/pop song was released as a joke for fans. When the drummer had her first child they took a break. When they came back they released the punk/pop song saying since she was now a mother they didn't think it was proper for her to be playing heavy music. They released the first video for a couple weeks before releasing the second video. Imagine the feeling their fans had for 2 weeks you had for a few minutes. Others have already suggested Yoshu Fukushu and Hungry Pride. I would also add A.L.I.E.N. to the list of songs to react to 🤘😊🤘

  • @dcresistance

    Another heavy track from them is "Yoshu Fukushu". The beginning of it is actually vocals by the drummer Nao (pronounced like "now", she also has 2 kids), who's the co-founder of the band with the vocalist Daisuke (pronounced like dice-kay).
    The 2 other members are the bassist Ue-chan (pronounced like ooh-ay, but flows so it sounds like ooway) and the guitarist Ryo (prounounced like Rio in Rio de Janeiro, but said fast).
    The "sequel" track to this one is "maximum the hormone II", which is a song about the Ryo's weight loss, since it was getting to be life-threatening.
    Another band with these crazy contrasts in music styles is Eskimo Callboy. "Hypa Hypa" is their most popular song (and the first one with their new vocalist), but "Pump It" is everyone's introduction to them.

    about the beginning of the video, I hear that it was because by that time the drummer just give birth to her child and ppl saying shits like maybe the band will change style and will no longer making heavy stuff, so they make a whole video to troll their fans and slip their fingers toward those comments. love them like this.

      btw they have many music got this same troll vibe so brace yourself if you are going to find more.

      Yeah, the first part is their video to trolltheir fans. It's technically another song called Chiisana Kimi No Te. There is another version of the song that just starts with the hard part and goes much longer than the end of this video.

    Loved your reaction. The video you reacted to isn’t even the full song. The full version got pulled from UA-cam many years ago.
    MTH mock their fans with songs such as this one and ‘Maximum The Hormone II’, which is when the guitarist got hate from fans for losing a lot of weight (he was told he would die if he carried on his lifestyle by his doctor).
    I’d recommend the track I mentioned, Yoshu Fukushu or their latest song, Hungry Pride.

    MTH is very hard to define. They're simply amazing. I suggest continuing your journey with Maximum the Hormone II. Kind of like a sequel to this song. A.L.I.E.N, Yoshu Fukushu, Setzubou Billy, and Bo-ikikaesu are other great ones to follow.
    When you have a chance, also check out Hanabie (花冷え) another japanese all girl band that will blow your mind. Peace!!

    These guys rule, they have another version of that video on their channel which is the full proper song and cuts out the pop-punk troll at the beginning.
    I'd suggest trying Yoshu Fukushu or ALIEN from them next if you want to carry on exploring them.

    Please react to Japanese Metal, *Ningen Isu.* Founded 1987, they rock hard + melody + musicianship:
    _NINGEN ISU / Toshishun(with English lyric ver.)_ (7m48s) ua-cam.com/video/m3Zy8eceZdU/v-deo.html or
    _NINGEN ISU / Heartless Scat_ (8m27s) ua-cam.com/video/CbI79e5iZKs/v-deo.html (switch on Subtitles for English lyrics)
    A comment by _Joan 4p_ under _Toshishun_ summarises the stories from Japanese literature. They're dark.
    I'm not a 'MetalHead'. I like their songs because they take me on a musical journey with 'changes of scenery'.

    For me personally - speaking as an old guy - my limit on the aggressive vocals thing is Foo Fighters, Motorhead, etc, where I can actually tell what they're on about ... I MAY have been put off by accidentally hearing a young guitarist writing his own material in the death metal vibe, if that's the right description, but he was playing it (badly) without an amp, and him kinda "whispering" the aggressive vocal, so I COULD actually hear the words and man, the words were HILARIOUSLY STUPID, I almost broke a rib laughing ... I wish I could remember his channel name, it was so funny but also a bit disturbing that he took it so seriously ... so now when I can't hear what they're screaming about, I imagine that guy's diabolical lyrics, desperately trying to make himself sound evil - while whispering aggressively ... I only stumbled on him because he was a fan of an incredibly daft bloke who thought he was due a Nobel prize for his total re-writing of almost all physics, so I wanted to know who this dumb supporter was ... I've gotta find him again - just for a laugh.

    Yeah, seems MTH likes to subvert expectations and troll even their own fans. Reminds me of Mike Patton. During Faith No More concerts, he switched from doing that Black Sabbath cover to a Commodores cover. I think the message that MTH was trying to convey is the same one as Band-Maid's message at the end of their song, Rinne (you should check out that video). But I won't reveal the message, you'll just have to see it.
    Want to be trolled some more? Look for Hanabie's "We Love Sweets", probably my most fave song of 2021.

    Their lead songwriter has a wide array of influences, from system of a down to tool, and I personally think he also has a few screws loose, which leads to some zany idea like using a pop rock intro, and the 'actual' band vomiting on it because it's crap. Unfortunately, you didn't get the full song, but the only musical idea you missed was the balls to the wall outro.

    • @stephenbrough8132

      I hate to admit it but I was SOOOO impressed with the songwriting of... (McBusted?) ... a few years ago some young friends introduced me to them and wow, they had some great material and GREAT videos - I'm a BIT mixed up who is who - I don't exactly follow them or other pop bands these days - but all those wedding videos and BIRTH videos of that guys two children - the dedication to making those videos impressed me. I kept feeling they as a bit of The Beatles songwriting ability in them. Yeah - I was thinking same as you though on the vibe of the first band.

    • @calibrax
      @calibrax 2 роки тому +1

      @@stephenbrough8132 Yes, McFly and Busted were very good songwriters, and were rival bands doing similar music. But after those bands broke up, some of the members from each band got together to combine into a new band, and they called it McBusted.
