I'm going to use the big gas grill with the sport grill and my question is what captures the grease from the sport grill? Or do I need to put something on the ground under the sport grill? Thanks in advance for helping me. Sincerely, Les Livingston
The grill box just burns it off. The griddle, I believe, has a trough on the front. That will catch the grease, and require dumping....usually into a firepit or can.
I suggest grabbing some olive oil pam, spray everything down. get up to temp. shut off, then spray again that should help. So far for me, the spot rusting has pretty much stopped since I have cooked with it so much.
Ive never had that issue before. I suspect there is an issue with the burner install. contact Camp Chef customer service, they have never let me down. You can also try disconnecting and reconnecting the propane tank, sometimes I have had an issue with pressure or connection, and doing that has solved it.
Where did you get your cover?
Both my roller case and basic cover are both from Camp Chef.
