Lost in a dream sounds quite interesting. I love the woody notes, especially oak. Overall great notes and I think I will check it out. Jardin de Misfah is another one on my wish list 🤩❤

I really love Bois Doré, even though it's a bit heavy on the aromachemicals. It's really nice. I love orchid leather too. I didn't know it was discontinued 😱
I only assume it may have been discontinued because it’s always out of stock everywhere, but it may not be? I do think it’s really nice but I’m still always second-guessing if I really want it or not with that hint of metallic smell 🤔😁

I am so curious about Navitus after your review!! And I am one of those people who don't like Blanche Bete, I smell mostly coconut in it and nothing else. Although when I was in Paris it smelled divine, something about the climate I guess

@@dr.claire.perfume Over time it kept smelling better and better on the test strip, I am definitely going to give this a try in the fall or winter! It might be nicer doing a full wear test than just smelling it on the paper 🤷🏻♀️

Okay I’m so glad you mentioned that!! I remember seeing that one in the “reminds me of” section for Lost in a Dream on Fragrantica and I ordered a sample… Come to find out, I ordered the wrong one! I ordered Midnight Silhouette by mistake! 😩😭 I was wondering whether to bother re-ordering the Intimate silhouette but now I definitely will! Thank you!! 🙏❤️

I own Ceramic and love it, have heard a lot of reviews on EPC fragrances but have never heard of the one you mentioned:)
I think the one I really wanted to try was called Tonka Sesame.. I couldn’t find that sample online so I went for the Tonka extraordinaire 🤷🏻♀️

The whole sunlight detergent vibe ,I used to use that until I became allergic to it and now I have to use tide free and simple

Hello Tammy! Hypnotic Poison is a no for me way to heavy and powdery it gives me a headache.😵Lost in a dream and Sissa Mind Games sounds very good, i try to sample them. I wonder how strong the cinnamon is in Lost in a dream? Khamrah Lattafa was a fail for me, smells to mutch like pie and i dont want to smell like that.😅Omg Ô Féminin M. Micallef smells like i allready smell before and that for a high price.🙄Musc Moschus Rania J is a beautiful scent but i dont like black current so a bummer for me😒You are like the Paulina Shar for me. ❤

Does Rosarine remind you of Oud Satine mood by the way?
To me they are very different. OSM is very dark and syrupy sweet and the rose is more on the jammy side, whereas Rosarine is more green, dry spicy and a lot lighter! 😁
Burnt sugar is definitely a tricky scent. Sometimes it can smell too burnt and almost plastic like.

I have to say I do love the good girl bottles but not that keen on the scent itself ,I know someone who wore both the original and the gold bottle and I didn’t care for it on her

@@nicolesprocess yes!! You’re right on that.. my lights were charging and I didn’t have time to wait for them.. so I tried to compensate by using the cinematic setting on my iPhone to blur out the background a bit, but I don’t think it helped a whole lot! 🙈😆
You asked how we felt about masculine vs feminine the Lord created us Man and Woman period. Don't know if it matters what fragrance you choose to wear nothing can change that.
It would be interesting to learn the history of how fragrances got assigned, like how did herbal and citrus notes get chosen to be masculine marketed scents and florals and sweet notes most often chosen for feminine marketed scents- (if Dr. Claire is reading this maybe she will make a video on the subject!) 😉✨
@@tammyroxanne.It's all ridiculous marketing by designer houses I think... Fragrances were originally all unisex. Even now, different notes are marketed to different sexes in different cultures, which compounds the fact that it's a social construct built on your own social surroundings, the effect of marketing and your life experiences with who wears what in your life. Gendering in fragrance really bugs me 😂 People should feel free to wear what they enjoy and not be dictated to by brands. Is a strawberry a feminine food? Is a steak a masculine food? It's a similar argument to me. 😂

I agree, anyone can (and should) wear whatever they enjoy.. 😍 But I’m wondering about the specifics of how they originally chose exactly which notes to market to whom? I feel like it had something to do with barbershops and shaving and which herbs were better at stopping bleeding in an aftershave formula, or who knows.. that’s just a wild stab in the dark but there had to be an original reason somewhere! 😅 Steak is sounding like a good idea for supper tonight!! 😂 Maybe with some strawberries for dessert 🥰😉
