Matt is super addicted to saying "super addictive game"
The fact that Matt didn't notice that the hard hat guy was an expert architect... 💀
6:50
He didnt noticed that "engineer" guy is also an expert architect, but also build an architecture abomination in front of his bridge.
Matt's addictions are getting out of hand. The engineer council needs to step in. I saw a lot of architect-y shapes in this game.
Love how rce's perfect man is an architect
I have come to realize, that architecture is not the problem. It is the architects who get over confident with their power and can only be limited by an engineer (or project funding limits).
Consider that a bridge on Mars only experiences 1/3rd g, or 1/3rd the load of an earth equivalent.
Love the reference to The Martian at
i played the demo a while ago. you really want to maximize the bonues of structure nearby. especially for entertainment building nearby habitat and water works near farms getting boost to food production is massive in the early game.
"an entire day went by" - proceeds to pass 2 years
Imagine how big buildings and bridges would be on Mars, being a planet with only 38% of Earth’s gravity.
RCE and his old nemesis: reading and understanding a tooltip.
Hate to say it but it might not have been architecture that cost you the game but instead a lack of diverse engineering. The city planning looks all over the place, so while all the infrastructure is engineered nicely, there’s still room to improve actual building placement. I’m sure you got it next time you give it a go!
RCE, he's an Architect, watch the video back and read his description, he's no Engineer.
Matthew T. Engineerman is the only person I don't mind when he exchanges one addiction for another one
Wow, Planet Crafter looks so different in this new update!
Only Architects can't pronounce Tritium correctly...🤣
i love rce's side comments, always makes me chuckle.
I got home from work and my kids were watching frozen. Where Elsa made a ice bridge I caught myself saying “time for a bridge review”. I’m not upset
