There is a cut in 2:40, it was very important to show the hinge opening . You skipped that part, Now I dont have any idea , how to open the hinge. I guess u made a mistake, u opened lcd first before the hinge, thats why u excluded that part. Its ok to make mistakes, but its terrible when you try to hide it.
Hinge is removed from the backside outer edge with a pick tool! Other problem is this LCD screen is glued to the outside glass so for me I can only find the screen so when installing the new piece it is missing the glass so if you have shattered glass like my client we can only install the new screen without the outside protective glass!
@@peterwho9380 Do you have any source where i can order the whole unit. Because its glued with glass. So i will be needing the whole top part.
@@IftekharRezaShatil Searched the whole web and the only place that has this part is Acer Canada and they don't sell parts period so we're out of luck! I had to use 3m tape to secure the new screen and customer has no choice but to use the new setup without the glass. In the video here he was able to reuse the original outer glass because it wasn't damaged!
