I’ve had one for almost 3 years. It fell off my truck bed and cracked all the plastic to hell. Still works to this day being used outside and running 2 deep freezers and an air dancer. I’ve changed the oil religiously and always use 93 octane fuel. It’s also been running in the bed of the truck and strapped down so freezers are running while in transit. Starts with zero hesitation to this day. Great generator!
In the middle of an outage after a hurricane I have one 6000 btu window unit on 70 degrees and a fridge hooked up and about every 2 hours the green light turns red and it stop supplying power. Anyone have an idea on the reasoning?
@@ThatNomadicCouple I live with my grandpa so it is an older fridge no idea on the power usage. I have a cord ran from the generator to a surge strip then another extension cord from the surge strip ran to the fridge. Idk if the amount of cord could be the problem. The light turns red I reset then generator then get another 2 hours before it turns off again

I have one, bought it during an outage. Works great. Got it on special for $450 I believe
Nice little emergency generator
Looks like a great generator. I like the economy feature.

It’s on standard mode
How many watts does the fridge use?

Also the window unit is plugged on the surge strip
What gauge is the extension cords you’re using? Make sure they’re thick enough to carry that load
Great video, great info... I'm wondering... why do you need to buy an external generator ? Doesn't your RV have a build in generator ?
There’s always an issue with it, gas guzzler and ridiculously loud, shakes the whole RV when running.
