@@2AndreValencia5 they are comfy and have good traction. it’s all preference. i’ve got bunions, so i have to be very selective with the shape of the forefoot. i’ve left adidas shoes just because of the intense tapering at the toe.
I was a bit disappointed that these took a step back in terms of outdoor play. Trae's first three shoes were good to go outside and I was hoping that the trend would continue.
My son as Achilles issues and love these shoes because the cushion in these shoes take the pain a way on like the air force ones that he would wear before
Having just bought these I can say they are perfect for throwing a runner’s knot on. Those laces are so long there is plenty of latitude to do it and it prevents heel slippage completely for me. That said, man that lace pressure can be a bother until it breaks in. Trae 2 shape just didn’t work for me so I’m glad these are so much more comfortable
I wouldnt play in lows, but can I rock them as style shoes, I like them veeeeery much, but seem wide af, true? is durability sufficient for walking and ocasional hooping outside? any issuess?
These are perfect for my style of play. I like the lockdown, but I don’t love the lockdown. But other than that I love the shoe. I bought three pairs, they are 109.00 US dollars here. So that was a great pickup for me. Thank you for the great review.
This video is very informative. I ended up buying one with the Solar Red colorway. Surprisingly, the cushion is extremely good. I play PF/C Position and the impact protection is so good. You just really have to break them in.
As always, great video! Could you please do a review on the Adidas Dame 7? I've been wanting to buy them, but your reviews are the only ones I trust. Thanks!
I love watch your videos, but can I make just little asking. With cooling test could you also providing temperatures in Celsius scale? What about cushion. Adidas site at first said it's "lighstrike cushion with boost midsole" (on that coloroway from video), on the black-white colorway it was only "lightweight midsole". Now they removed all of that (from both cw's) and replace by "Composite foam midsole". Could it be Lightstrike Pro which is TPEE? Chris from weartesters believes that Boost is in the heel, Tommy Liu compare that to Bounce Pro, so both opinion are pretty close to Lightstrike Pro imo. I wonder what they put inside D.O.N Issue #5.
I appreciate the videos! Can you tell me your opinions I’m looking at both videos you’ve done and trying to decide between the Trae 3’s and Dame 8 X. Your thoughts?
Theres only 3 posibilities of what could that midsole be Bounce Pro normal lightstrike orrr Lightstrike 2.0 the one used in adios 8 and boston 12 running shoes Its imposible to be Lightstrike pro becuz you could immediately feel the responsiveness and bouncyness of that shoe.
Did you experience any heel slipping? I didn't notice you mention that, but I definitely experienced it significantly on first try on. I'm wondering if that is something that will go away as they break in? I hope the answer is "yes" because I love everything else about these. They feel great. FYI, I have a somewhat wide foot but they fit great, true to size, for me. I was also interested in your comments about traction. I have only tried mine on and tested for a few minutes, but did feel some slide slipping on lateral changes of direction (like the outside of the shoe was slipping). Maybe they didn't "warm up" enough.
Yes, it did stop after a little while. I don't remember if I changed the way I was trying the laces or if the shoe just loosened up/broke in, but yes, I stopped experience heel slippage.
I just picked a pair up randomly brand new at goodwill online and man these are so solid. They have great stability, traction, cushioning, and are tanks. Thank you for giving us great reviews over the years 🫡😎
I know you get it a ton but 808 3's could really use a teardown, been waiting for your review before purchasing. I'm hearing from reviews all over that the regular is better on this model and just curious if it has a front or bottom loaded shank (or none).
Wonder if they put in lightstrike 2.0 since it seems “bouncier” ? I like the design features of these surprisingly. Something different Heard the newer adizero running line with the Boston and Adios the 2.0 version feels mildly softer but more bouncier comparing to previous versions.
Adidas has fallen far from grace. The last all around great adidas shoe was the Dame 6. The Hardens are good performers, but they're eye sores with terrible materials. Adidas needs to invest in designers.
Badminton shoes aren't that great unless you are playing on clean courts or rubber badminton pro mats. Dust gets trapped forever on the bottom of the badminton shoes though. Power Cushion is more for energy transfer from jumps and split steps than impact protection which is at best laughable. If you are young, injury free, and under 160 pounds, power Cushion is for you. You have knee or back injuries, possibly ankle, get something that feels like a LeBron 21 or GT Cut 3. The Trae Young 3 is fine too but requires serious break in.

the trae 2s blow my mind, there kinda light
man really really appreciate all these shoe breakdowns! so frequent yet the quality remains 🔥
bruh i was just lookin at these

Best Adidas shoes right now are the Dame 8s. Love those. Simple, durable, affordable and a pretty good cushion for a guard shoe.
Harden vol 7!?
Trippin trippin, harden 7’smare easily better
i find them too heavy and clunky as a lighter player. mid shoe for me.
@@LuZu_ah I see. They are heavier than my other shoes but I still enjoy them, great shoe imo. Traction is on point and they’re very comfortable.

So is it bad outdoors?
@@SkyboundersGames The traction isn't as good as the first two durability wise. These are basically indoor shoes.

How did you do a runner's knot on these? Circling the laces all the way through the back or??

definitely the most appealing trae shoe for me, thabks for the awesome review as usual doc!!!
Adidas Trae Young 3 is my favorite shoes from adidas & from my favorite player Trae Young himself ❤️ them.

Interesting, this might b the first Trae shoe I pick up when it goes on sale.
I bought a pair of these on sale yesterday for $60
Any light strike I've used gives me a ton of arch soreness

I like this one… are you going to do the puma all pro nitro? Would love to see you breakdown that nitro midsole
I really hope he sees this. Always hear really good things about the Puma All Pro Nitro & wanna see the breakdown on it too

nice review! Thank doc
Hi
I want to see your review of the puma all pro nitro.
I like to see what is inside of the midsole.
Are they good for jumping?
excellent review as always, damn those kicks fire
How well does it perform on dusty courts?
any chance you found out since?:D

Just got the Trae 2's for $55. ❤your Content.!
Great review 💪🏿🧠
Hopefully you can get and review the Anta KT 9 another great performer 💥🔥💯🏆
what shoes can you recommend for outdoor volleyball?
Do not wear these outdoors 😅
Weartesters said this was very similar to the Harden vol 4... do you have any thoughts on that comparison?
Don’t remember- Weartesters is amazing with sneaker history and comparison so I’d trust what they say in that regard over anyone else
Hey Zach, by chance can you review the VKTRY insoles? Do they really give you extra bounce and make you run faster? Thanks

I was wondering where the boost was on these. Very interesting cross-section.
Sounds good for my playing style. thanks doc
I used Trae Young 1 because I'm a wide feet type of person. So I wonder if Trae Young 3 is still good for wide feet?
Yeah you’ll be straight
I have these and my foot is narrow. I would not go down half a size with a wide foot.
hope adidas with these takes off, they were behind especialy lookwise by a decade..

Question- do they send you two pairs so at least you can keep one pair after cutting a shoe in half?
Haha “they” don’t send me anything- I buy them myself, and no that’s my only pair

Adidas shoes are always too hot. They don’t breathe well. But are built better than Nikes.
I thought this shoe was suppose to have boost in it 🤔
Ok, TRILL! 🙏
I'm considering picking up a pair of these at only $100 Aussie dollars..... Hard to say no really.
this shoe is so wide ang big

Guard shoe but a heavy shoe 🤦🏻♂️ wtf adidas 😅

These are in line with the curry’s as the most hideous shoe🤦🏿♂️
those are super ugly af
