@TylerTube I would be interested in a video where you line up all of the knives you've gotten from Battle Boxes and online orders, and give them ratings to find your best. Like different tests, styles, and just overall preferences. Maybe for your second channel?
The fact that Tyler is so successful, all while being so beautifully horrible at most of his product tests and lack of knowledge of products is wonderful. I love this channel and have been subbed since he was a small channel.
@TylerTube the door latch of your car is designed to keep your door closed during impacts from car accidents and such. It's specifically designed to be able to withstand loads of pressure, weight, ext without breaking. It won't deform or affect your door latch at all using the step product
For your 3 day survival I would like to challenge you to use 3 unopened Battle Boxes. Only open them once you get to your 1st camp location. Could be very interesting how you work with the unknown items.
That’s a good idea, the only way I could see Tyler turn that down is if he ends up worried he might not get the right items and make his sponsor look bad. They are his sponsor though… right? I always felt/assumed they were but I can’t recall him ever specifically confirming. Maybe he just gets the boxes for free and it’s mutually beneficial but not full blown sponsorship
17:30 That is an emergency light that you’re supposed to stick on top of your car (hence the magnet) if you have an accident or any car troubles that force you to stop on the side of the road. In Spain they will substitute (or complement, preferably) the warning triangles that are mandatory to carry inside your vehicle to use in case of emergencies.
So on your arrow fletchings, typically the fletching that is a different color goes up. Especially if you have a rest, that way the fletchings don’t hit the rest when you release the string. Also on your target, the red is not the heart but the lungs, the black spot on your target is actually the heart.
Watching these battle box openings remind me of all the things my father would bring home from an auction as a child and I have never seen used or moved again in 15 years
As someone who does archery I feel obligated to comment on the bow: basically the reason why you put the odd colored fletching away from the body of the bow is so it doesn't get torn off/damaged and/or completely screw up your shot. Next time you nock an arrow you'll see what I mean. It's kind of obvious once you actually see it 🤣. Hell, even I felt pretty dumb once I learned that!
19:53 it’s hot because it’s designed to be able to boil water, or heat stuff up with the heat output. I love these things, I have a few of the small ones in my emergency lots, and even a few of the large ones.
really happy to see how far your channel has grow tyler! Same for the garage 🤣it used to be extremely empty back in like 2018. You deserve 1 million, can't wait to see achieve that.
I'm pretty sure the space pen is just a pressurized ink cartridge in a regular pen. It does do all the stuff it claims, you need some waterproof paper to test the underwater part 😜 it's useful if you find yourself regularly taking notes in the rain or in space, otherwise it's a neat novelty with expensive refills.
Most of the stuff in them boxes are closer to novelty items. You can get a similar med kit from Walmart for a quarter the price and the zippo bow saw ax combo has a horrible blade for chopping and splitting. It's stuff for city boys that wanna play pretend in their back yard but I wouldn't trust any of it actually goin out into the woods.
@@lovingtennessee7726 true, the cheaper products are probably at least decent I'd imagine. Things like a fire steel, the tie downs, etc are going to be less expensive, even at the higher end of the market; so, you can put a couple actually premium items from brands looking for promotion to bring up the perceived value of some of the junk that's actually being offloaded here. They're definitely padded out with a lot of cheap blades and sheet-metal camp stoves.
@@oOo0oOo0oOo things like that kinda bother me cause it can make less experienced people think they can take some of the cheap junk and go for a week long Backcountry hike for a week and they'll be fine since there was a few decent things in there. A bandaid is a bandaid but a good quality hatchet is a difference in a warm fire and a sliced shin because the head fell off. But I think you're right on the money with the promotion that some companies use them boxes for.
@16:35 i own a set of these for my motorcycles and they're great! absolutely worthwhile! they're meant to wrap flat around the bars and frame of the bike and give the ratchet straps something to hook onto on your bike without damaging anything and being super secure without twisting or kinking the ratchet strap itself. the end that has the half turn in it is the secret to making them lay 'flat' around a handlebar/frame rail/etc. it hard to explain how through a typed comment.
Those POD things are really nice to have if your car breaks down at night. Just set them on the road like and they are great at warning oncoming drivers
Bro when you use the flint and steel drag the steel back through the flint. It will keep the sparks consistently in one place and its easier to smoothly pull
14:30 or so, in regards to the weird bandages - They look like overcomplicated butterfly bandages. Assuming they work on the same principle of "replacing stitches in the field", you'd typically slap a smol gauze pad on top of it and wrap it up once it was on, and it wouldn't be applied while the wound was still bleeding profusely ideally. Interesting idea for clinical use, though. Less invasive than manually pushing/pinching/pulling the wound closed and applying a butterfly.
I was subscribed for 2 years. Get your money's worth. They do a great job putting the boxes together. I had to stop because I started running out of space to keep it all, on top of all my other gear I already had between my house and truck.
A single spyderco knife makes any box worth it in my eyes. Forget everything else as long as its $60 or under i am swooping that up even if i were to be bankrupt.
The best thing out of the 1st box was the first aid kit. Battlebox in general gives you really low quality products for the price you pay. There's always a catch with these subscription boxes, and battlebox is no exception. Half the stuff they sell is just stuff other companies were going to destroy because no one bought it. The ratchet straps on the third box are... generic ratchet straps. They aren't any better than regular ones you can buy. They aren't heavy duty.
The pod light is great for roadside emergencies. I do a lot of roadside assistance and traffic control and these are great at night. And a plus, they are almost indestructible (few have been ran over by various vehicles including a couple fire trucks!)
A bunch of the stuff that comes in those boxes are more novelty type things. Nobody that hikes, kayaks, or does anything outdoors more than once a year would use 90% of the junk they sell.
@@lovingtennessee7726 oh yeah, I've definitely learned my lesson on cheap gear. After struggling to split campfire wood with my crappy Walmart tool, I threw it away and instead ordered on of these BlackHawk Hatchets hand forged by Timothy Dyke from 1912 railroad track, and there is just a world of difference in quality and use. ua-cam.com/users/shorts88teXtjv5ic?feature=share
idea for the survival video: you should dump a bunch of battle boxes into a big tupperware tub or something, and you pick out items blindfolded, maybe 10, and try to hope you can feel things out you'll need
Looking forward to the survival video! Hope to see the axe in there. I have a feeling that axe would be terrible just due to you feeling all the vibrations cause it's metal
Stone paper is water resistant that's what you should use with space pen underwater. Love your videos keep up the hard work. Can't wait for that 1 million mark gonna be awesome.
@TylerTube Id love to do a three day survival challenge with you as I'd be curious to see you using all of the items you plan to take, have you thought of doing a video on testing the best stuff to possibly take with you, you know for "safety precautions" of course?😉😂 but then would you consider doing a second survival one using just the cheapest and worse looking stuff the internet has to offer 🤔 you know for science and research purposes 😂 That I would love to see. Also, the odd fletching on an arrow is to indicate which way the flight should face away from the bow, its so that when you release an arrow the flight doesn't rub or catch on the string. Still loving that toast t-shirt 😂 can't wait for the survival video🤘
i gotta say what you get in those battle boxes are pretty neat, quite a selection of kits to use for camping, but that bow though, that looked impressive
You can use your brand new sleeping bag when you do your 3 day camping trip. Also, have you ever thought of finding out the value of these items and posting them.
I like following ….the videos are interesting and entertaining….. the best is how innocent he his to most of these gadgets and tools…that’s what makes this fun to watch
I like those eletric road lights. Keep them in my semi truck. Haven't needed to change the batteries yet. But late at night or raining, I use them with my triangles to give that extra alert that I'm broke down. And run a few on the back and sides so I don't have to sit there listening to Hazzards for however long it takes road service to show up.
You should go to harbor freight and get those magnet strips for tools, I hang all my knives up that way on the wall. Be a cool piece next to the garage there to see all the knives you have now lol
LOL who getting lost would just say " Oh I have a battery pack on hand so I will use this light ? " Nope when lost you are truly lost . That axe hammer saw thing was great though .

small box, the ax looking knife... to skin the animal, you would hold it in your palm as you pull back the skin and the blade would help cut as you pull. i havent seen one of those since the farm.

I was literally just thinking about that
I would love that and probably other people too
Great idea!

The fact that Tyler is so successful, all while being so beautifully horrible at most of his product tests and lack of knowledge of products is wonderful. I love this channel and have been subbed since he was a small channel.
i couldnt have described my thoughts any better
Lmao. Tyler being shocked that the metal piece above the candle was so hot is so on point.
I haven’t come to that part yet but i can already see it😭😭 i feel like it has happened multiple times before
I saw it and it was so on point
That reminded me of the one time I touched the top of a camping lantern.
For future reference, on your bow target that large red area is actually depicting the lungs, while that smaller black area is depicting the heart.
And the whole point was that he got the "heart".
Came to the comments just to see if someone had said this yet lol

Tyler: I am going to go on a three day outdoors adventure.
Later: On this episode of Unsolved Mysteries....
Let's hope he figures out the stove
Hahaha
The plate with holes with that wood stove in the first box goes on the inside as the bottom fire tray. It's slotted to sit in there.
Tyler, your channel is the best! I've been around since the 50k subs mark, and you really have grown! Kudos to you!

I can tell you from personal experience trying to cut the door latch that it will not break. The Nader pin is extremely extremely strong
the 3 day survival video should be like an hour long special. I’d watch every second😂
hes sucks so bad hes not doing it until 1 mill subs gay af
I hope it’s even longer than that!
72 hour long video.
The camo pattern shammys are my favorite. I like the camp pattern because you'll never find them once you set them down in the woods.
And then you have an excuse to not clean! 🤣

Title: i opened 6 battleboxes, Tyler: i have 5 battleboxes
I do a ton of overlanding & trail riding on my Rzr and have a Harley. I love Rhino products. I own a lot of them from ratchet straps to recovery gear!
Tyler is the kid you keep around at work to make yourself feel smart. Gonna miss him when he inevitably ends himself using something the Tyler way.
Whenever you do these unboxings, I always wonder, what do you do with the items you don't have any use for?
I love the the fox edges from other battle boxes. ive been around for awhile watching your vids

Tyler, it’s time for a creative & funny air up commercial so I actually want to watch it and not skip it! Make me wanna smell those air pods🤘😖🤘
Utiliclips are awesome, I use one for my edc fixed blades
“Look that’s a heart shot , I’m good “
Standing only 3 feet away 😂
@tyler you had literally JUST said that the candle lantern put off a lot of heat... And then were surprised that it was hot. Gosh I love you😅😂😂
That Spyderco knife was the best thing in the video. I carried a 50/50 endura for years.
19:24 Tyler channels his inner Bray Wyatt 😂
I have the Klymet light. That thing is so useful for camping, kayaking, and when the power goes out.

Tyler tube makes my whole week when he post on a Wednesday 😂 we need a Tyler tube Tuesday 🎉
Tyler is such an underrated UA-camr
Axe Wax... you have a Crow on your logo... I approve.
That zippo axesaw thing, I've got something similar from Walmart. The 2 giant lugs holding the axe blade makes it terrible for splitting.

Exactly. For rich people with disposable income.
With that door latch step dude I would 100% trust it because I learned how much that latch can take even with hitting it with the Jaws of life

Your door latch is one of the strongest points of the whole vehicle lol they can handle your way. Plenty good.
Survival video at 1 million subs?! If he survives, he'll come out after 3 days looking like Tom Hanks at the end of cast away hahaha
Love the battlebox videos, cant wait for you to test the stuff on the second channel!
By Tyler saying he hit the heart he actually meant he hit way back in the lungs. Same thing I guess. Lol. Love me some TylerTube
tyler: this gives off a lot of heat.
Tyler's brain: let me touch the top of the lantern.
I want to try and fill a whole room with those inflatable led lights but with blue and red light to see how well some plants will grow 😂😂
The look on Tyler's face when things go wrong, I lose it every single time! Just like me!
To be honest..... half the things in these boxes I wouldn't have a use for.. like a motorcycle tie down kit. Most people do not own a motorcycle lol.
All vehicle door latches are required to hold 2,000 pounds Tyler.
Them zzips could be for bring the wound closer to stich it up by your self
@2:22 - A universal tool
I didn't know my ex-wife's boyfriend was in a Battle Box. 🤣
This is one of a few shows I look forward to very entertaining thanks Tyler
Man I would LOVE a 3 day survival 😭 I’m gonna be down until I see it now
Same but considering how well he’s doing I think by the end of this year maybe
Can you beat the record how many spoons and forks combined in your beard like you did the toothpicks please thank you
Out of curiosity, what do you do with all the stuff after your done showing it? Do you do any give a ways?
That “heart” was actually lung lol😂. Still a kill shot though.

I would love to see you try testing the pen that can write underwater on the second channel.
