Looks a bit top heavy with the full length hardtop and a single outboard. Can only imagine the rails are to chuck more stuff/weight up high. Boat stabilisation 101 is keep weight down low. She will rock bad and if too much weight jammed on top then your asking for an angle of lol and potential rollover. Just my two cents from a commercial point of view. Wouldn't pass survey like that no matter how well it's built

I have experience with an imported aluminium boat. A 7m rear console commercial fishing boat. Twin 250 yammies that were bought and fitted in Australia. Now this was a new Zealand import not a Chinese one. And the problems apparently stem from a lower grade of alloy being used. Admittedly we were running that thing backwards and forwards from Cooktown to princess Charlotte bay basically weekly. And anyone who has ever been around that part of the world will understand that a 20knot soueaster is a good day. Punching into 25+knots for the five hour run back to Cooktown was pretty much standard. Exactly what these seakings are apparently good for according to old mate selling them. And they may well be I haven't had a chance to use one for a few months to really see if they are built properly. But this new Zealand thing named after a large shark was a total peice of shit. It looked the part. Even rode ok for a big tinnie. But after a few months of FNQ wind and chop bashing every single weld in it basically failed. Literally every weld in the canopy was cracked or completely snapped, the hull would flex on every wave. My deckie used to stand up and hold a ratchet strap over a 600l Esky. That strap suddenly started going loose then tight then loose as the sides of the hull flexed inwards on impact with each wave. And I'm talking tight as to a foot of play above the Esky. Needless to say that tub is long gone and I will never touch another import again. That boat passed amsa survey and I personally toured the factory and met with the designers etc. it all looked good at the time but in hindsight I should have had it built in Australia. The extra cost would have far outweighed what I lost selling it and having a replacement built in Australia (6.5m mission magic centre cab, single 300yammy, best ally boat I have ever had anything to do with btw) not to mention lost fishing time dealing with a boat that was unsafe to work anymore. These seakings could be totally different but I wouldn't take the risk again. Buy used Aussie built rather than new import would be my advice if your trying to cut costs. Or even better realise boat stands for bring out another thousand and that the poor man always pays twice and don't cut costs with "cheaper" anything when it comes to boats. U can't walk home if it breaks down and U sure as shit arnt swimming home if it splits in half. Especially in north qld

Dang, she is a sweet looking boat. I love the extra beam, up top usable roof space & rear dive/ fishing platforms either side of the motor. Would these platforms be compromised with a twin engine set up? Are you sure just an oversized sign front and back is all that is needed nation wide? Or is this just Queensland? Seems the oversized load laws aren't consistent state to state (last time I looked into it). Well done to all involved. She looks to be a solid rig. One day....
