I dont see FS25 worth the hundreds of dollars for a tornado. No real mud or physics just making dirt act sort of like snow?

I’m a PC player and I got a refund for the game. It’s the first farm sim series I have been disappointed in. They had 3 years and changed very little. It’s definitely not worth the price tag. I’ll catch it on sale MAYBE.
@@johnboy_gaming well I know people will love the game, I just don’t want to know from the ones that do what makes it awesome to them because maybe it’s something I missed or didn’t really think about. I just am struggling to find what took them 3 years and it truly disappoints me more than anything because I love the FS series
Ive played about 15hrs on series s. Has crashed at least 10-15 times. I end up rage quiting. This is not elden ring. If you rage quit farm sim something is wrong. I will keep another week or so if no update im done with it.
My main complaint is how disappointing the Japanese map is. And yes they claim it's supposed to be a generic East Asia town. But is someone who is intimately familiar with East Asian cultures in Japan specifically I can tell you the map is full of Japanese culture. There is Japanese logos on your starting equipment. And you won't find any other East Asian country references. Getting to my problem with it is the low attention to detail on that specific map. For instance you won't see mini-trucks driving around which is something normal to see in not only Japan but other East Asian countrysides. You will find one parked on the map so the asset is there they just didn't make it one of the cars driving around. And that's the other thing you mostly see Western cars driving around. And they didn't add any Japanese style right side steering wheels. Also I want more Japanese style structures available. I'd also like to see some more Japanese brands like Kubota and yanmar, but I understand if there are licensing issues as far as that is concerned. Another thing which would have been nice is Japanese or at least East Asian writing on the billboards alongside the English text to make it feel more authentic. It's jarring to go into town and see a billboard that looks like it belongs in America. Hutan pantai map was my whole reason for returning to farming simulator because it and the rice farming were the big thing they advertised in this iteration of the franchise. And it feels like their main selling point for 25 did not get much effort put into it. I am hoping that modders can come in and make mods that at least make it feel more like a proper East Asian country. And not just a western map with smatterings of Japanese culture. Speaking of while writing this I also remembered another problem I have. The NPCs are the same no matter what map you choose. This just makes me wish once again that farming simulator had a proper competitor to inspire them to put more effort into these games. This is not enough for me to justify that $50 price tag. Maybe in the future it will become worth the $50 price tag but not right now. I'd rather just go play fs22 again.
@johnboy_gaming i also favor playing old tractors and there really isn't much in that category. I'm just back to playing 22 until more mods come out and they optimize the game. The ground not showing work done until your donthwith the pass sucks
Well... Giants have to license each product as far as I know and sometimes those manufacturers might say "no" and have not changed their mind before release. It could be as simple as that...
9:43 sheez, I didn’t even think about that, I was getting frustrated that my vehicles couldn’t go to their set speed, I thought it was that “new physics” they’ve been touting and the resistance being a little broken. I think the base problem is the game engine, it’s kind of like guys that soup up a 1985 Honda trying to compete with a 2025 Ferrari, sure you can get the horsepower and tweak the other parts, but the whole platform is old, slow, and overtaxed and just needs to go away in favor of much better options that have come out in the past 15 years. I think they had to do gimmicks like hail and tornadoes because they can’t get anything else out of the giants engine.
I was so excited for FS25. After playing for like a hour i was done. I hate the launch maps I’m not a fan of the new menu system at all. It honestly feels rushed and incomplete. The frame rate is absolute trash. Maybe after an update and more mod maps get here it’ll be different but as of now I’m done.
Those base game maps suck. Base game equipment sucks. You can't get them big tractors down them small roads in the US map. They have no clue about our layouts over here. FS 25 has been a big disappointment. I feel like some of the other people that do reviews, let's plays etc that are Giants partners are just a bunch of ass kissers and they never give honest opinions. Probably due to the fact the will loose there status and other things.
I dont know, I'm loving the game. Honestly not bothered by lack of equipment. There's more here than there was at FS22 launch. I find everything in this game has little QoL improvements that add up to a big difference. I'm playing on Series S, so it doesn't look stellar, but it looks better than 22. I can't expect perfection in a $250 console. However it only crashed once on the title screen on the first boot up. Been smooth sailing since
Sad thing about the traffic jams is that the AI are brain dead, I was collecting mushrooms on the Asian map (can’t remember the name) and two so tried to go round me, blocked each other off and caused a 10 car pile up and I literally couldn’t move. Had to turn off traffic to finish. It’s not ideal
So i started clearing some tree on the starter farm in riverbend springs and WTH it took me 1/2 hour to find the sell point at the sawmill. I would like to meet the genius who that was a good idea, especially when you have it set up like 22 with the pond. Are the other maps a little better for logging cause it is going to be a PITA to get a semi into the saw mill here.
One thing that really breaks immersion for me is when you go into build mode if you’re by any buildings maybe 100 yards away they just disappear off the map. The LOD is terrible. I went back to FS 22 just to confirm that it didn’t happen in that game and it didn’t. Literally whole sections of the map just don’t load in not even that far away. Thanks for an honest review
@@johnboy_gamingmind you I’m also on the most powerful PC you can buy too and sections of the map still just vanish. I don’t think I’m gonna play this game until there’s a major update. Plus I don’t think the base maps are that good if I’m being honest.
Also the cabs and screens and decals on tractors and equipment is all blurry. Monitors look like fs17 all the buttons are sharp and jagged like fs17 decals are blurry. The in cab experience took a nose dive they spent too much time on everything but the vehicles! The main part! Also there's a glitch with the case ih magnum disappearing in Multi-player and when u try to buy the convey-all trailer the game freezes and crashes and there is a glitch where Multi-player loads to 99% and gets stuck. And a glitch where ur bins magic lyrics transfer grain to one another. Really annoying tbh
Since the game released, I had a few crashes and one of them blue screened my PC. Turns out there’s probably an issue with the shaders in game. I just deleted the shader_cache folder and refired the game back up and everything has been working fine ever since. But I will agree, the devs need to do something about a major update sooner than later, especially with the lighting, shaders and flickering issues.
I was hoping there would be better physics and at least a walking animation. Also wish you could see your characters arms and legs operating everything when inside the cab of a vehicle in first person view.
I don’t get why they haven’t added snow runner type terrain deformation. They could do so much for this game… deformation, larger amount of tractors, better suspension in the tractors instead of them being stiffer than a race car, building potentially?, bigger maps, ai farmers on their own fields, different animals, having to work on your tractors sometimes, I could keep going on and on. But Farming Sin has became the same as cod. They do a fast release, only giving them time to do the bare minimum… it’s so disappointing. I’d rather they STOP releasing every odd year and actually take time to make the greatest farming game ever made😔
As i wrote in my review on Steam, Giants gave us their practice sesion ... I just put all my hope in moders . Base game is sh*t. And they should leave us an option to remove that anoying grandpa ... And other stupidity , when you start farm manager mod, you start without starting farm, but, if you place farmohouse on some location of your choice you will still start your game from the base game farmhouse , and gues what, you can't sell it! Next stupidity... ble storage shed , some genius put triger in triger , so when you take out bales from storage, as soon as you touch them , the triger for accepting bales in storage will take those bales back in storage, and they say , park a tractor in triger so the bales will spawn outside the triger :D And about the number of tractors and choice of tractors... crap
Dude don't get me started. I've played this game since fs13. I'm on ps5 and have a pc but I prefer Mt console. One thing is why they won't add console commands in the settings. They push things for pc players ( no offense to pc players) and how many mods do they have for pc compared to console. Great work
Interesting.... I heard from another channel the complete opposite.... When raining, they removed waterdropplets on the windshields of all vehicles because consoles could not handle the computation. I know they are using their own game engine for FS games... but... if what you say would be 100% true, they would have kept it in for PC but removed it from consoles.
I am a PC player, and I played this since fs13 too ... went from LOVING the game to absolutly HATING this stagnation fest. No weather, animals worse than farcry or minecraft ten years ago. Physics ... lolzs, ambience? nature ? trash ... maybe if id be confined to only playing FS id be just as blind as the fanboys ... but I am not .. i know what other serious games ... can do, and ahve been able to do for ten twenty years .. to only play this garbage? I tried fs 25 ... and just dropped it in disapointment by looking at all of the aspects and thinking oh this is still shit.. oh that is still shit ohh this is still shallow as f and so forth. wow fog? wow depresion in field? spintires demoed their mud ten years ago. enviorment is static sterile apocaliptic desolation
This is my first Farming Simulator game and I'm having a blast, it is a bit glitchy. Messed up contract and now I can only have 2 contracts instead of 3. Thats a big bummer this early in campaign
Yea she’s pretty glitchy. I’m on XBOX also and have done 17 hours on Riverbend. It’s crashed on me 6 or 7 times over all. I do like the AI workers but I would like a basic worker like in the previous games. The Oxbo pea harvester has a really low unloading belt and makes it a pain the arse. I think overall it is an improvement on 22 BUT, they have a lot of bugs to iron out. Also the contracts say a field needs harvesting which has been harvested. If you accept the contract the field jumps back to being ready for harvest then you can cancel the contract buy the field and harvest it!
It seems like a lot of games are released before there ready these days... I got the new Planet Coaster and it is a mess too. I could do another 20 min. video on other bugs like cut grass making your tractor bounce all over the place...
the last 2-3 games have become VERY VERY disapointing. FS is in its NHL 12-24/ Madden mode right now.... absolute bare minimum of changes, then charge full price.
Love me some NHL. GO BRUINS. But I know what you mean. It’s seems like they don’t even play the games anymore. They don’t know what the game really needs
I got this game cause my brother plays it. I did not know what to expect coming into it. I got it for the PS5 and for being a 60$ game, after playing through and stumbling through it for about 3 hours. I like it, its got potential and charm. What did come across as odd is there is no wind and it feels a bit stiff? (I walked through that clothes line and laughed that it was just a set piece you can phase through). The Moon jumping is funny. Love the look overall and the town simulation. I wish that the people around would be interactive with you in a way where they drive by and visit you for offerings, help or something to give you that sense of community, Or I am just shopping at a menu too much? ha Anyways, its a great first impression, but I have no idea what FS22 gave and whats missing here in FS25. You have good insight here and I hope they update a good bit. Excited to see what gets added. I did get hit with that menu glitch where I also was stuck on traffic! I had to exit the menu and open it again. No crashes so far.
If this is your first fs game it’s good. When bugs are fixed you’ll enjoy it more. The world never feels really alive. Mods are a big part of the game. So check the mod hub (downloadable content on the main screen) every now and then.
I wish there was another company doing farming sim like fs, even if it didn't had branded vehicles, maybe some competition is what Giants needs to start putting more work on their titles
I think you need to lower some of your graphics settings. Not sure what you can do on a console - I'm on PC. Game is a little buggy, I'm not crazy about the U.I. and money seems tighter - everything is more expensive but crop values don't seem to be improved at all... I'm having a lot of fun with it but I'd have liked to see a lot more attention paid to actual farming details like how most of the animals function instead of so much time spent on better graphics. It is beautiful though.
@@johnboy_gaming I have tried it many times and I think this is their first attempt at 2 wheel vehicles? I have played FS since 2013 version (on PC... the master race btw... ;) ). It is not too bad though.... I think Giants should focus on the farming vehicles and gameplay instead of fixing the dirt bike, imho.
I'm so sick of disappointing games, and this one was extra important to me, but I knew it wouldn't be worth the money. Thanks, Giants... Well worth the wait. Once again...
@@johnboy_gaming That's not how game development is supposed to work, and games are supposed to work on launch. I really hate hearing that about FS. 😒 No hate towards you, only Giants.
@immune85 believe me. I hate this era of half finished games. I mean look at gta they push it back so that it’s great at launch. And fans love those games
@johnboy_gaming It's really gotten on everyone's nerves. I just wanted FS to finally push hard this time, but naaah. Same ol'... My grandfather used to say "don't buy shit unless you own a field".
My main issue with it is the lack of equipment-there are not many balers to choose from! Let's go, modders - we need you! I didn't realize that the cruise control was in Kilometers, so that's why I couldn't get it set to match the harvester at 6 mph!
Is my 1st Farm Simulator game and have been loving the game so far. And as someone who has around 15 hrs so far I can say your critiques in this video are 100% valid. Pretty much everything you brought up I had similar gripes about wishing they could be better, but haven't really gotten too bent out of shape about it bc I know the mods will make it an even better game down the line. Also I agree that it feels like the developers gave us "just enough" in the base game, but I can see someone who has played the past titles would be extremely disappointed with what was given, especially when charging full price.
Honestly seeing the walking animations reminds me of the Six Million Man a TV series from the 1970's (1973 - 1978) when Steve Austin would run - all the game is missing is the sound track they used when Steve ran.
On my ps5 I had to buy another chicken coop the one on the main farm did not work and is jammed beside a decorative shed, I can’t even dismantle the shed and chicken coop. They better up date it and fix it
The voice acting is bad. In Hutan Panti, go to the Restraunt. Lot of places like it. The interior (furniture, applainces, cabnetry) is literaly a wallpaper.
Not surprised at all at how disappointing this game (hopefully) initially turned out to be. Granted I never planned on buying it to begin with as I'm happy with Fs19 but I was just curious as to what it brought since it was one of the longest gaps in the series. Rushed production, lack of effort and overall skimping on cost is a virus that seems to be taking over every industry in the world and its something we'll just have to live with unfortunately.
No setting for turning off fog on PC or option to hide the HUD in the settings. Those things can be accessed thru developer controls that most PC users don't know how to use. You see it alot if your watching Farmsim tubers especially early game. But they are a small part of the overall community. Just to give a heads up.👍
Ya I don’t believe there is a turn off fog on pc. I think it’s more for dense fog is but don’t quote me on that. The hud is more of a thing I wish they added because consoles don’t see those mods normally. Hopefully we get them this year
I think they made significant improvements. The AI field work is much improved. Overall I find the newest version and entertaining and fun to play as the previous versions. Keeps getting better. We do all need to remember this is a game.
I am glad I seen this before considering a purchase. This also helps explain the ratings on ps5. It's a shame as I really enjoyed fs22 but I am always happy saving money Vs lazy programmers and corporate Devs. I will wait for this junk to hit the bargain bin then maybe it will get a play, that's a big maybe. Devs that don't listen and support gamers are a waste of good cash.
Check your Xbox tv settings try turning off hdr if it’s on. I shut all hdr off the game looks better and runs a bit smoother but still rough. This might help
@@immune85 ya i havent gotten that far yet, i heard the chainsaw was glitch,y i can say the pallet physics are better. By this point in 22 i had 4 pallets stuck in the ground and are still there
For some reason, I lost close to 100 hours of gameplay.. when I tried to recover from the cloud, the game ain't recognizing or crashes on 30% of loading..
So something I’ve just come to a conclusion of is that this game is made in a different country of course. So my thought process is that when it comes to the American side of farming simulator it’s kind of a toss up. Like for us console players I’ll never see us getting branded trucks in game or anything really and truly American. The game is made to mainly focus on the German side of farming honestly. It’s not American focused how we would want it to be. But the whole franchise just needs a rehaul just in general. From the physics down to the small minute details.
A lot of equipment is made in other countries and the US sees designs and makes their own. Plus a lot of company’s don’t want their equipment in a video game. I think other countries are more willing to put there stuff out there.
sounds like i dodged a bullet thinking console would be good im glad i stayed pc, listening to this made me hate consoles even more. thank you for your honest brutal review really helped me decide.
For the most part the new worker system is good. Try trailing a worker on a root harvester when starting a field. I will never do root crops on this game with base game.
Good morning. I am on pc, i received my pre-order key but it was refunded because they sent me the wrong region key. the store I'm not going to name them, the email the store sent said just SORRY. So as you can imagine, you wait for how long to start play the game and you get the game then a slap in your face the key is not for your country. So i decided I'm not gonging to buy it.
It's seems like another game development company that followed Ubisoft in creating a high priced game that has less functionality than it's predecessors.
While I like the game it seems like productions have been nerfed somewhat and that to get any tangible benefit you would have to play over 10 years on a save and own all land. Doing water buffalo for milk takes several years just to process one years worth of milk and pay off the initial investment. Grain mill could be good but requires obscene amounts of land to run efficiently.
It went from releasing every 2 year to every 3 years and it seems to be getting worse. Its like they only start making the game couple of weeks before release, and the colours on some machines is way off
I play on XBOX series S I have nearly 25hrs of game play and apart from a couple of crashes it been fine for me... But it does need tidying up updates needed for sure..
The fact that you said the game needed another month shows the disconnect here. All the extra vehicles and mod additions that are being talked about in the comments is another year of development and testing. Its a $50 game with a few bugs, good release, stop complaining while you play.
Some people can’t play the game. Purple screen bug or so many crashes it to much to deal with. Mods will take no time. Modders have already been getting ready. Some people have no problems I have seen some but not like some ps5 players.
Ya it would just be nice to control it a little like pcs can. I know some people don’t like the fog it’s different on 1080p then 4K. It messes with frames on console a bit.
I always wanted to be a game developer, but now I'm so glad I didn't end up in that stupid money-grabbing world. No passion, no original ideas, just sad.
I 100% agree with you Ive been enjoying the game but every once in awile there is just dissapointment. Tractor selection was not it, not much to choose from. and loord the crashing issues I would say I have a mid teir pc and man launch day I crashed a good 3 or 4 times for some reason hasent happend much sense then but its def still there. Honestly it was a way better launch then fs22 in my experince. just sad we dont got much options for equipment.
I really like the game looks way better than FS22 but with all of these fixes and crashes is highly annoying and I can’t play this game for hours without saving every 5 minutes and giants should of waited until the game is 💯 perfect and with a lot more equipment and placeable’s
I would not expect a patch in the next 2 weeks for to be real. Giants always took their time and as the game supports crossplay the patch has to be ready for all systems at the same time - including xbox and sony playstation internal testing. The game is....ok....i think. Playing on PC is a bit weird, they increased graphics quality by maybe 15% but the hardware requirements increased by nearly 40% for getting that so i am not sure if that is the deal players waited for. They changed a lot in the comfort area, apart from the really weird menu location for selling items everything seems overall pretty comfortable and reachable. But still, i nearly always find a smaller bug/problem whatever new i touch.
@@johnboy_gaming Yeah, there´s a 1.3 version sitting in the steam database since release day but as giants seems still to be incapable to communicate things with their playerbase it´s hard to tell if it´s a not-yet-finished release day patch or something for later. It´s good that they added more options for starting a new playthrough, some equipment classes got pretty expensive this release so people have the option to directly start and buy the specific grain or vegetables they want to play with. Beans and Peas are a bit sad though, equipment is superexpensive and the yield vs. price relation is really bad.
I wanted to get/like fs25 so badly. But the price and what you get for it is just sad. Especially on xbox where fs22 is free and all of the dlc is 30-50% off.
Performance is poor even for the super computers, lights shine through solid objects, fog nor ground deformation even work in MP, the new paint system looks worse, machines loading in missing parts is way to common, I was loading hay and the loader just started spawning grass out of no where and it went for minutes till I got out of the vehicle, not a fan of the menus either.
Yeah on ps5 notice the low amount of starting vehicles, and AI is super buggy and doing contracts a number of the borrowed tractors don't even have wheels lol I'm tempted to just put it down for a bit hopefully they come out with some good patches FS 22 was a way better product
Oh wow.... @Johnboy.... HONEST... Your brief mention of AI "starting in the middle of the field sometimes" is because you do not _know_ that you can tell the AI how you want the AI to work. When it comes to fieldwork such as plowing and similar things, the default behaviour of the AI is to start doing the up/downs before doing the headlands while when using a combine it is the opposite. That said, you can change this AI behaviour if you want. Also, you never mentioned the built in GPS functionality if you want to do things yourself. And you have been playing this for a week and did not figure these things out? Seriously?
Oh believe me I know how to use the new feature that not what I was talking about. Half way through processes like seeding or planting and they run out. After you refill them they don’t know where they left off or what has been done sometimes and will go back over the field that was done. GPS works it’s not the best for every field but that’s fine. Workers are better and yes something are a learning curve. I think some ai workers need a little tweak that’s all.
There is no great way. Try to get the cost on the screen as could to the normal price. Save before placing. Play with the tool (Plants can cover up stuff). I’m horrible with the tool I make mountains for flat land.
I don't know why I'm just seeing this but about time. Honestly I've been kicking myself for the past couple years since fs-22 came out because it's been on game pass the whole time. I didn't have to buy it, since I pay for game pass anyways to play other games online. I'm kind of waiting for the same thing to happen with fs-25. I'll give it a try if it's ever on game pass but I don't think I'm going to buy this one.
What I don’t like is that they got a lot of the modern like brand new equipment that I think is personally really ugly and this started in 22 but I think the mods are really gonna help that issue but I agree with this video even tho I can’t play fs25 yet because I only have a Xbox one
@Eli_Toney if you want them to run the best its pc honestly. But if you’re staying with Xbox it’s series x and ps5 pro for Sony. Consoles are mostly the same.

Stick with it. I know it’s rough but the game will be good when it’s updated. I hope there is one coming out soon.
I’m sick of buying games to put them on the shelf of disgracefulness.
Was very shocked by lack of tractors. No jd equipment like plows or seeders either same with case
For all the talk about 400 pieces of equipment. It seems like more got taken then added
@johnboy_gaming i also favor playing old tractors and there really isn't much in that category. I'm just back to playing 22 until more mods come out and they optimize the game. The ground not showing work done until your donthwith the pass sucks
@dontask3681 hopefully soon
Well... Giants have to license each product as far as I know and sometimes those manufacturers might say "no" and have not changed their mind before release. It could be as simple as that...
@TemalCageman oh of course. We don’t know the contracts and modders don’t care about the contracts so we will still get the mod.
I think they had to do gimmicks like hail and tornadoes because they can’t get anything else out of the giants engine.
lol love that thought process!
I hear ya I really do
@@johnboy_gaming yea man I hope Giants rolls out a massive update fast before this game is DOA
@@HeelsWin27 ya the menu system is good in some places but so bad in others step backwards
@geekdad1229 agreed we will see what happens with updates
Those base game maps suck. Base game equipment sucks. You can't get them big tractors down them small roads in the US map. They have no clue about our layouts over here. FS 25 has been a big disappointment. I feel like some of the other people that do reviews, let's plays etc that are Giants partners are just a bunch of ass kissers and they never give honest opinions. Probably due to the fact the will loose there status and other things.
I paused the game, turned off my console and the game time was 14:30. When I turned it on that night the time was 22:15 🤔
Weird I haven’t notice anything like that. But I’ll look into it.
Been smooth sailing since
Good I’m glad and ya a lot of things are working good. I haven’t been on today but I played last night and only crashed once
Ya AI are still gonna be dumb
and they cant replicate what GTA SanAndreas could do with traffic or weather ,,,, TWENTY YEARS AGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TWENTY
I haven’t done logging yet because I can’t stand the animation. There will be plenty of logging maps when mod maps come out.
Yeah I don’t think the game is ready yet. It’s rough to play.
@@johnboy_gamingmind you I’m also on the most powerful PC you can buy too and sections of the map still just vanish. I don’t think I’m gonna play this game until there’s a major update. Plus I don’t think the base maps are that good if I’m being honest.
@jordan9292 there a some details I like on the new maps but it does not out way the problem of just running the game.
Every new game is suffering the same issues .
The industry is in dire need of a massive purge .
Ya I think it’s a lot about the funding and stockholder wanting to make money on there investment and not wanting to wait.
Really honest review, not like others who only say nice things 'bout the game
Thanks. I’m not getting paid to say anything
Wow I don’t know that lol. I haven’t gotten into multiplayer yet but good to know.
@johnboy_gaming yeh haha the Multi-player is really bad so far 😅
Since the game released, I had a few crashes and one of them blue screened my PC. Turns out there’s probably an issue with the shaders in game. I just deleted the shader_cache folder and refired the game back up and everything has been working fine ever since. But I will agree, the devs need to do something about a major update sooner than later, especially with the lighting, shaders and flickering issues.
Console players don’t have those options so there out of luck. Glad it’s working better for you.
I was hoping there would be better physics and at least a walking animation. Also wish you could see your characters arms and legs operating everything when inside the cab of a vehicle in first person view.
Yeah it’s crazy the mindset is somewhere else
Have you the slightest clue of how many animation states that would be? :D
I’m not an animator. But I also don’t have a company of programmer and coders.
I’d rather they STOP releasing every odd year and actually take time to make the greatest farming game ever made😔
Agreed
As i wrote in my review on Steam, Giants gave us their practice sesion ... I just put all my hope in moders . Base game is sh*t. And they should leave us an option to remove that anoying grandpa ... And other stupidity , when you start farm manager mod, you start without starting farm, but, if you place farmohouse on some location of your choice you will still start your game from the base game farmhouse , and gues what, you can't sell it! Next stupidity... ble storage shed , some genius put triger in triger , so when you take out bales from storage, as soon as you touch them , the triger for accepting bales in storage will take those bales back in storage, and they say , park a tractor in triger so the bales will spawn outside the triger :D And about the number of tractors and choice of tractors... crap
Well said
Dude don't get me started. I've played this game since fs13. I'm on ps5 and have a pc but I prefer Mt console. One thing is why they won't add console commands in the settings. They push things for pc players ( no offense to pc players) and how many mods do they have for pc compared to console. Great work
I think a lot of that is Sony don’t allow a lot of thing. But don’t quote me on it.
Enjoy it. Game glitches will be fixed.
I like that loop hole. I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for the info.
Or it won't find the field for the ai worker and they miss some
There bad at mowing I can tell you that
They really do need to fix alot of things like when you use their equipment and forget you have seed in the tank they don't pay you back for it
@jonathonhenry4055 something’s at little and probably easy to fix.
It seems like a lot of games are released before there ready these days... I got the new Planet Coaster and it is a mess too. I could do another 20 min. video on other bugs like cut grass making your tractor bounce all over the place...
Ya it’s in a rough spot right now.
Think a lot of these issues will be fixed tho because fs25 just got released so we should also expect some bugs and not realistic stuff
The game could be fixed but it’s hard to find some problems because there not happening to everyone or even just console.
the last 2-3 games have become VERY VERY disapointing.
I wish that the people around would be interactive with you in a way where they drive by and visit you for offerings, help or something to give you that sense of community, Or I am just shopping at a menu too much? ha
Anyways, its a great first impression, but I have no idea what FS22 gave and whats missing here in FS25.
There is but not a huge fan base
I think you need to lower some of your graphics settings. Not sure what you can do on a console - I'm on PC. Game is a little buggy, I'm not crazy about the U.I. and money seems tighter - everything is more expensive but crop values don't seem to be improved at all... I'm having a lot of fun with it but I'd have liked to see a lot more attention paid to actual farming details like how most of the animals function instead of so much time spent on better graphics. It is beautiful though.
We will see what happens after an update or two.
Tractor wheels has diferantial system. When you turn right or left then you can see that wheels are turning in different ratios. This is also new.
What's the point when the driving physics are as arcady as gta san Andreas?
lol that was funny. Have you tried the bike they added it’s horrible
@@johnboy_gaming 🙂
@@ciri151Exactly. 😂
It will be good just give it time. Let modders make it right
@@johnboy_gaming That's not how game development is supposed to work, and games are supposed to work on launch. I really hate hearing that about FS. 😒
No hate towards you, only Giants.
@immune85 believe me. I hate this era of half finished games. I mean look at gta they push it back so that it’s great at launch. And fans love those games
@johnboy_gaming It's really gotten on everyone's nerves.
Ya I don’t know why that is. It will be fixed.
I appreciate that. When the little things are fixed it will be a great game. I like the gameplay and the add ons.
Honestly seeing the walking animations reminds me of the Six Million Man a TV series from the 1970's (1973 - 1978) when Steve Austin would run - all the game is missing is the sound track they used when Steve ran.
I found the perfect cure for this game . step 1 remove farm sim 25 place disc back in box . step 2 chuck farm sim 22 back in , no problems
On my ps5 I had to buy another chicken coop the one on the main farm did not work and is jammed beside a decorative shed, I can’t even dismantle the shed and chicken coop. They better up date it and fix it
It’s a bug for everyone. Giants know about it
The voice acting is bad. In Hutan Panti, go to the Restraunt. Lot of places like it. The interior (furniture, applainces, cabnetry) is literaly a wallpaper.
Why waste time doing interiors. Good point
Cutting a tree is messed up for me. Also can’t trim trees to trunks for selling is also broken unless I am not getting it.
No i don’t know if that’s a glitch or planned but i hate trees right now and will not be touching them.
Well said
No setting for turning off fog on PC or option to hide the HUD in the settings.
Like I said I’m enjoying the game. When it works if fun. Just needs an update and modders and will be back on track.
It's just not good hardly any difference. Very disappointing. But hopefully updates will improve it lots. It's needed.
Agreed
I am glad I seen this before considering a purchase. This also helps explain the ratings on ps5. It's a shame as I really enjoyed fs22 but I am always happy saving money Vs lazy programmers and corporate Devs. I will wait for this junk to hit the bargain bin then maybe it will get a play, that's a big maybe. Devs that don't listen and support gamers are a waste of good cash.
Sad but true. Hopefully it turns into a great game
Which xbox do you play on i play on xbox series x and its super lagging. But yours is not. Hopefully fixes soon
Check your Xbox tv settings try turning off hdr if it’s on. I shut all hdr off the game looks better and runs a bit smoother but still rough. This might help
no greenhouses, or a ton of equipment that was available day one on 22, big miss giants
Agreed
There's greenhouses on the starting farm.
Depends on the map. There is also a chicken coop on the American map that is broken. It has the eggs outline and everything
Really? Wow, that's great, Giants.
I haven't even seen the "new" forestry physics yet, which I'm pretty sure do not exist.
@@immune85 ya i havent gotten that far yet, i heard the chainsaw was glitch,y i can say the pallet physics are better. By this point in 22 i had 4 pallets stuck in the ground and are still there
Spent so much time being excited for this game. It just feels like a worse version of fs22 with more crops
It will be a great game with a update or two
For some reason, I lost close to 100 hours of gameplay.. when I tried to recover from the cloud, the game ain't recognizing or crashes on 30% of loading..
Sorry that blows
The new ground textures are less realistic, and the new AI workers system is trying to fix a problem that didn't exist.
I think it all needs an update
The in cab suspension is non existent! It's almost comical.
sounds like i dodged a bullet thinking console would be good im glad i stayed pc, listening to this made me hate consoles even more. thank you for your honest brutal review really helped me decide.
Glad to help
For the most part the new worker system is good. Try trailing a worker on a root harvester when starting a field. I will never do root crops on this game with base game.
Ya root crops are a long process. They can make you a lot of money but take forever.
We are playing the open beta. Even the main menu looks rushed and basic.
Good point
I got a ps5 refund the next day after launch. Horrible settings, Horrible animations and the draw distance is unacceptable in a current gen game.
It’s crazy that this is “next gen”
Good morning. I am on pc, i received my pre-order key but it was refunded because they sent me the wrong region key. the store I'm not going to name them, the email the store sent said just SORRY. So as you can imagine, you wait for how long to start play the game and you get the game then a slap in your face the key is not for your country. So i decided I'm not gonging to buy it.
Sorry man that sucks. Honestly wait till it’s on sale.
Pricing is also not correct. A patch will fix it.
It went from releasing every 2 year to every 3 years and it seems to be getting worse. Its like they only start making the game couple of weeks before release, and the colours on some machines is way off
Solution... Buy a PC.
I always wait at least 6 months before I get the new farm sim games and I’m glad for that. I’m good on 22 for now
I play on XBOX series S I have nearly 25hrs of game play and apart from a couple of crashes it been fine for me... But it does need tidying up updates needed for sure..
Ya not effecting everyone which is why they probably haven’t updated it yet
The fact that you said the game needed another month shows the disconnect here. All the extra vehicles and mod additions that are being talked about in the comments is another year of development and testing. Its a $50 game with a few bugs, good release, stop complaining while you play.
Some people can’t play the game. Purple screen bug or so many crashes it to much to deal with. Mods will take no time. Modders have already been getting ready. Some people have no problems I have seen some but not like some ps5 players.
Why would you want to shut off the fog? I am on PC I am getting 75/85FPS I haven't had any problems so have nothing to compline about.
Ya it would just be nice to control it a little like pcs can. I know some people don’t like the fog it’s different on 1080p then 4K. It messes with frames on console a bit.
I had hoped FS25 would break my cycle of buying a year after launch on FS games. Nope.
Aside from everything else, I was astounded that there are so little tractors. Granted I got FS22 two years late, but still.
@uptheworker mods will help soon for that
I always wanted to be a game developer, but now I'm so glad I didn't end up in that stupid money-grabbing world. No passion, no original ideas, just sad.
I’m sure that had some crazy ideas but man power and time stops a lot of things from starting.
Let modders do there thing and make this game good
It snowed in January and now I’m in June and the snow won’t screw off. I’m on Xbox too and it’s really a huge letdown. So many issues. 😢
Snow is annoying as hell right now.
@ very. I really hope a bunch of patches come soon.
@justineadams729 agreed. This is there 1st full week back so hopefully something will be done.
Yeah i just got this FS25 game for my PS5 and it has its limitations on a game console, now I’m going to buy and play it on my gaming PC.
Let me know if you notice a big change or not
I regret buying this, it crashed on my ps5 19 times in 9 hours and tons of visual bugs
Consoles are getting hit hard. Sorry for that. I have had 5 crashes I believe so far. But tons of bugs and the prices are even wrong
I really like the game looks way better than FS22 but with all of these fixes and crashes is highly annoying and I can’t play this game for hours without saving every 5 minutes and giants should of waited until the game is 💯 perfect and with a lot more equipment and placeable’s
It looks great. They can fix the little things
There is an update in testing on stream background info. Who knows how far along. But they usually like Tuesdays.
@andreasc.2182 we will see what happens things can change
I'm on pc and have over 17 hours and have had no problems with it. I have yet to see a twister.
Ok good I’m glad it’s working for you
I wanted to get/like fs25 so badly. But the price and what you get for it is just sad. Especially on xbox where fs22 is free and all of the dlc is 30-50% off.
Ya it’s a good deal
By the way what console do you play on
Series X
Performance is poor even for the super computers, lights shine through solid objects, fog nor ground deformation even work in MP, the new paint system looks worse, machines loading in missing parts is way to common, I was loading hay and the loader just started spawning grass out of no where and it went for minutes till I got out of the vehicle, not a fan of the menus either.
Everything is different for everyone. It’s crazy there no really consistency
Yeah on ps5 notice the low amount of starting vehicles, and AI is super buggy and doing contracts a number of the borrowed tractors don't even have wheels lol I'm tempted to just put it down for a bit hopefully they come out with some good patches FS 22 was a way better product
Hopefully next week. We will see
As usual ,moders will do all of the heavy lifting.
I'm a PS5 player and I'm very disappointed in my game cutting out and showing error!!!
Ya hopefully it gets fixed soon
"expecially" "all the sudden" "suposubly"
Good god
Oh wow....
@Johnboy.... HONEST...
Everytime I place a shed or animal barn it sinks in the field. Any suggestions on how to level before. I have tried the landscaping tool
There is no great way. Try to get the cost on the screen as could to the normal price. Save before placing. Play with the tool (Plants can cover up stuff). I’m horrible with the tool I make mountains for flat land.
I wish we had the menu of 22 and the graphics of 25
Ya it’s weird still
This game has a long way to go , let's give them another 3 years ,the game
play still not there
It's a new start, expect bugs. Me on console expected and sew alot...waiting for a patch and more things..
Hopefully this week
I don't know why I'm just seeing this but about time. Honestly I've been kicking myself for the past couple years since fs-22 came out because it's been on game pass the whole time. I didn't have to buy it, since I pay for game pass anyways to play other games online. I'm kind of waiting for the same thing to happen with fs-25. I'll give it a try if it's ever on game pass but I don't think I'm going to buy this one.
Update just came out today. Testing some things. Will have a video update to see what’s fixed
What I don’t like is that they got a lot of the modern like brand new equipment that I think is personally really ugly and this started in 22 but I think the mods are really gonna help that issue but I agree with this video even tho I can’t play fs25 yet because I only have a Xbox one
Take your time upgrading. Fs 25 needs some work but If your staying Xbox get a series x not s. A lot of developers have problems with the s
@@johnboy_gaming thanks so much for telling me to get the X because I love the Fs games and I want them to be the best running
@Eli_Toney if you want them to run the best its pc honestly. But if you’re staying with Xbox it’s series x and ps5 pro for Sony. Consoles are mostly the same.
@@johnboy_gaming ok thanks ima see if I can get a Xbox X because Im 12 years old an I’m not going to be getting a pc any time soon
It's even more a PC game than 22 was. Building on PS5 is just horrible. Can't even get a refund.
Sorry brother

You missed the compass direction is upside down. When you're moving north it says 180 degrees.
Nice lol
