Every printer review you do says it’s the best
Once per year I get a list of printers that companies offer to send me.
I pick the best one from that list and this was the one for 2024.
I most likely won’t do another printer review until next year and once again I’ll pick the best one.
This wormhole printer is my backup printer I currently use a inkjet everyday
Quick question is it possible to run freehand drawn stencils through it to transfer? I just have a bunch of freehand that I don’t want to redraw on my iPad 😂
Your going to have to redraw it or take a straight on photo of it in good lighting and adjust the brightness and contrast in the photo editor and on the iPad the best you can and print it out that way.
But basically redrawing it would be the best lol
Try scanning it to print it, shouldn’t have to redraw it just scan on a printer and import image or save image file and then print on stencil printer

So it requires a specific app by the company on order to print from? Or is it compatible with other printing apps or even print straight from the built in print option on Ipad?
I believe that is a very important detail to be more clear on because 10 years ago I purchased the Ipower wireless bluetooth power supply for $300 which required to use the ipower app in order to use it and control the power supply but then the company dissolved or closed or whatever happened to them, the app also got removed from the app store and my $300 power supply became a paper weight that I still have put up but no longer was able to use it and could not get in contact with the company at all and I tried to multiple times.
That was my lesson to never purchase any equipment that relies solely on an app or software to use it that will need to be periodically updated as the devices operating systems (ipads, IpadOS, etc) advance in time with upgrades and updates.
That’s crazy!
I’m like %80 sure you can use any Bluetooth printer app.

Not yet I had a lot of people request me check it out.
It’s so much harder for me to test and review a printer compared to a tattoo machine, it seems easy but takes me like 5x longer to film and edit. That’s why accept them for review 😅

I think all printers let you print off your own images I just made it a big deal in this video because my last printer video before this one I did, I got a whole bunch of questions asking me if you could!
Thank you for this video. It really helped me decide the right stencil printer for me. This stencil printer is very compact and seems to really do the job. I do not own a ipad though. Is there a app like ghostline for andriod tablets?

I always use Spirit paper but I heard someone say Electrum paper is super good 🤷♂️

I have not checked out the Ozer printer yet. I used the Wormhole printer today because our inkjet printer broke and I didn’t have any issues with it.
It printed a little light today but I just darkened my image up and it printed good

How do you pop off the cover after you remove the screws? Mine seems kind of stuck still

Many different ways, if you have an iPad there’s some apps that do it. I can’t think of any off the top of my head right now other than Ghostline
Do these stencils transfer well on glass? Let’s say as a guide for etching
I’ve seen a few artist put tattoo stencils on glass. As for if it works good I have no idea I’ve never done that 😅
I don’t see why it wouldn’t work you would just have to let it dry overnight or something
How does this compare to the ozer printer?
I get questions about that Ozer printer a lot and I haven’t picked one up so I couldn’t tell you.
Would it be good for realistic images if adjust on an tablet turned the image to a stencil version. Or will the details bleed out too much once applied on the skin?

Ok so I just got the ats886 or whatever Fukt up thing it calls itself but what I’m seeing is if u have to rip off the yellow backing then don’t buy it imo of course.. it just “scrunches” the paper up coz it’s so thin. I’m may smash it against the wall and try this one. My inkjet printer works killer but I have the opposite problem there where it won’t let thin stencil paper through. Easy fix is glue it to normal a4 paper… in summary any printer needs a rigid piece of paper or it again “scrunches” if ne1 has a tip for me I’m all ears
All my portable printer do that same thing if the papers not perfectly straight it scrunches. I always put it in then adjust it and you can keep the yellow paper on but it won’t print as dark.
Some days they are nice to use and some days they are shit

You can adjust the size of the stencil in the app and it shows sizes….
You can also use the procreate app to re size an put back into the printer app
How many devices can it connect to?
You have to connect to it one at a time.
When my whole studio uses it you connect then print then just turn off Bluetooth to quickly disconnect so the next person can use it
I just bought mine and it isn’t pushing the ink to the paper.. I can’t figure it out and it makes the stencil useless if it doesn’t have the ink on it
You need to use tattoo stencil paper not normal paper!
@@adamdarklord I am using stencil paper :) .. I put the yellow side up right made sure to remove the middle protective paper and it isn’t printing at all..
It just arrived today and I’ve been messing with it all day and eventually found your video. The picture shows up on the paper but when I pull it off to say cut it and put it on skin there’s no ink on it. Or there’s very little not enough to determine what line it is.. I’m so sad

Print on the darkest setting and do a dark design until you get it figured out.
I haven’t used mine in like 2 months but works perfectly the last time I tried it

@@erickjuarez1189 so far it works fine for me. It might struggle a bit if you use cheap stencil paper though. I use Spirit paper and it works fine.

So the only differnce from the stigma besides the look is that it self feeds the paper? I have the exact stigma one however stigma doesnt make it. Its a generic printer that most tattoo companies just put their name on and sell as their product. Either way its worked great for me. I also use ghostline along with a different tattoo printer app which stencils your design better than the one for the printer.

I got a phomemo thermal printer off Amazon for like 130 and it's done amazing for me

I had to return my phomemo printer because it burned up as it was charging. On top of that, it wouldn’t pair via Bluetooth to any of my devices

Does the printing app give u any problems? I've read bad reviews on app store having trouble connecting to printer?
I remember I had an issue last year using the app getting it to connect to a printer I had but when testing it for this video there must have been a lot of updates because I had no issues at all

You do not have to take printer apart to stop volume. All you have to do is click Mine at bottom of tattoo printer app and turn volume off. Don’t follow this dude and take your printer apart for no reason

All those that use spirit paper are far inferior to inkjet printers..
Inkjet printers are super good for the first month or two and then they start to get worse from there, I’ve had 4 in total typically every year we have to replace it.
I know a lot of artist that prefer a thermal paper over inkjet paper. Inkjet is nice because you don’t have to load paper every time and I’m pretty lazy so that’s nice
The key to inkjet printers is you have to make sure you run it at least once a week or the ink will dry up and clog it up..
