Maricopa is 35 minutes to Chandler, I make the reverse drive all the time. Both are great areas, but very different.

Where is the nearest Home Depot, or Lowe’s to Gold Canyon?
15ish minutes, depending on where you’re coming from in Gold Canton. The closest Home Depot is right off the 60 in Apache Junction (neighboring city).
What about water???
Plenty of water in Gold Canyon but we do live int he desert so water management is key. Gold Canyon has a huge program to do just that, manage it's water effective. Their slogan is 'More precious than gold'. watermorepreciousthangold.com/
Any resale homes 250k-275k?
Yes there is in the city of Coolidge. It's out a ways, located in Pinal County.

Pinal County High Property Taxes. Giant Development being built right behind it. Superstition Vistas. Bad Traffic on 60. Most existing house are dated inside and out. (Not Peralta).10,000 +++ New Homes just in Apache Junction. I say no.
👉 Property taxes are high compared to where?
👉Giant development/Superstition Vistas is quite far from Gold Canyon and because it is close to town, it will not disrupt the traffic on 60 near Gold Canyon.
👉Bad traffic on 60 only occurs during the Renaissance Festival.
👉There are older homes but there are a lot of newer homes too, and remodeled ones. We just closed on one that is only 5 years old.
👉Sounds like Gold Canyon isn't for you. Where do you live?

Superstition Vistas is Directly behind Gold Canyon will eventually encompass the entire desert area as far as that giant strip or land goes or water runs out. 60 is busy virtually every day from 9AM on. Loved living there. Glad to leave. Thanks!
@@stevemurray2737 Superstition Vistas (a total of 4 square miles) is part of Apache Junction, NOT Gold Canyon. Superstition Vistas is being built, just south of Elliot Road, bordered to the west by Meridian Road, to the east by Idaho Road, and then to the south by Ray Road. This community is on a different side of the freeway, part of a different water district/source, it's many miles away from Gold Canyon. The good thing is that they will also be building more shopping bringing new retail a bit closer to Gold Canyon, but this is all going to take about another 10 years.
We live in the desert, water is a concern for all parts of the valley but Rio Verde is much higher risk if that is your main concern.
