Now that is something I still want to do, go up in a hot air balloon. I used to see them land all the time in Rancho Santa Fe. I went to balloon festival in Temecula one year. It was one of the greatest events I've been to. Unfortunately, the balloons had just taken off when I got there. So instead, I listened to to Brian Setzer of the former Stray Cats and many other great bands and ate great food and sampled some of the Temecula wine country wines. My former boss used to fly the C-140, I think. He was on semi retired duty and still flew missions until 2014. Those things are so huge. We had a lot of window cleaning accounts because of that on the Marine base here at Camp Pendleton. I got to watch them during maneuvers sometimes. Tanks are the coolest. Cheers my friend.😊
The hot air balloon must be a beautiful experience; I have never been on one, but I really like it. As always, I read your comments and found many exciting things. It must be incredible that your Boss had a C-140 😅👍

Thanks for coming the long way from Italy, unfortunately this year the Frecce Tricolori are missing (the very first time if I am not wrong!), as they are currently on a tour in the US. Thanks for this comment. I'm glad you liked the video. I uploaded today's (Saturday) video a few minutes ago. Fortunately, yes, the weather today was much better than yesterday. Some friends are passionate about aeroplanes, and they are inviting me to go with them; I'm not an expert in this sector. However, I'm curious, and I must say that this AirShow in Zeltweg was truly spectacular. You are right; our beloved Frecce Tricolori were missing, but I must say that the Swiss and Spanish Patrol put on a wonderful show. Thanks again; many greetings from a small group of Italians 😉🖐

@@ZentralratFliesentischbesitzer Luckily, I always have sunscreen in my backpack, and I avoided going home red as a tomato... 😅 There are many Italians who are passionate about aeroplanes who go around Europe to photograph and film them. Indeed, the proximity of Austria to Italy has allowed many of my compatriots to come to Zeltweg. I was thrilled with what I filmed and saw, a genuinely spectacular AirShow.
Tanta carne al fuoco qui! La leggiadria dell’f16, la potenza del Typhoon (che si dimostra ancora il migliore contro F16 e F18)…la maneggevolezza incredibile dell’ F35 (la scodata cabrata che ha tirato il pilota credo che neanche nei simulatori si riesca a fare…aereo davvero sensazionale, e pensa che è aereodinamicamente instabile e viene costantemente corretto dai computer di volo, altrimenti precipita come un sasso…incredibile pensare che per volare così bene è tutto fuorché giusto…peccato per il suo costo davvero esorbitante perché è davvero superlativo ora che lo hanno sistemato…visto a ghedi in decollo…mono motore ma talmente potente che fa il boato di 3 o 4 reattori anni 90)…bella anche la parata degli elica finale. Ed ho notato con piacere una buona presenza italiana…bellissimo video anche se con tempo grigio!
@@YuriBruschi ciao Yuri…io inizio con l’aereonautica, e finisco con le macchine…come i grandi costruttori prebellici…. Bristol e rolls Royce …ma anche Alfa con Alfa avio 😊…e tanti altri…aerei e auto hanno sempre viaggiato su binari paralleli.

@@alberto_davoli Si, hai perfettamente ragione, il carbonio, il titanio, l'aerodinamica, i concetti di deportanza e tantissimo altro provengono da questo settore che indubbiamente, è decenni avanti a quello delle vetture 👍
È davvero bellissimo mi piacerebbe andarci. In questi spettacoli vanno anche oltre la velocità del suono e si sente il boom sonico? O per sicurezza non lo fanno?
All displays are flown below Mach 1. There are some "high speed" passes at like Mach 0.95 but all of the other manouvers are way below Mach 1. In Austria its not allowed to fly Mach 1+ unter a certain altitude (like 2000m or so).
