My friend from channel 19Bozzy92 was with me that day, and he had two cameras; one was fixed, and he filmed the scene. When we got home, we watched it, and it was spectacular. Great video! If I am not mistaken the sound recording of this first Airpower video seems much more natural and louder than that of your videos from friday and saturday which seem to be more muffled. Did you change anything in your recording equipment for the following days?
Thanks, I'm glad you liked the video. I must tell you that I didn't change any settings in the microphone. What has changed since the first day is the distance and the wind. Thursday, I was outside the military base and in the departure area. Also, the wind was blowing on my side, and it was strong. So all the sound was right. I was inside the base on Friday, and Saturday, I was on the hill opposite the base. On these two days, I was further away, and there was less wind. These are why you perceive a higher sound in the Thursday video and a little lower on Friday and Saturday.

Wow, that’s awesome! You’ve finally been to an air show. I think I told you how great it was when I went to El Cajon’s air show in San Diego East County. I saw an original first run Harley Davidson, the smaller version of the wing from Edward Air Base and many WWII fighters. I also saw some of the first jets made. As I said, the Wing inside was like looking at a giant, old F1 car, or Can Am car. Every year there’s the Mira Mar air show with the Blue Angels, etc. Art Scholl used to fly and do stunts, and there was the famous air race as well. Honestly, I liked El Cajon better because it was smaller and more historic planes flying. Mira Mar air show was all the modern jets along with the stunts, and the race. Also the crowd was so large on base you had problems parking and leaving. I’m really thrilled you got to see the show and thanks for videoing it.
Thanks for telling me about these shows; I will look for videos on UA-cam. These events are wonderful and exciting. I would like to see the Blue Angels, but I don't think they will return to Europe, it's been many years since the last time. I understand you, I also prefer historical planes, there are not many at this show. I will finish working on today's video on Friday. I think you will be able to see it in 30 minutes.
@Italiansupercarvideo I'll look when I get a chance. My college roommate has throat cancer. I have been concentrating some on what could help him start to heal from the harse, aggressive treatment he had. Seven weeks of treatment every day. That means they were trying to destroy it before it spread to his brain. I had sessions every 28 days for six sessions. Through God's grace, I didn't feel weak, sick, lose teeth and hair. It actually made me stronger. I'm more massive than ever right now. My shape isn't as good because the cancer got into my shoulders and arms. They used to be almost the size of my 7 5/8 head. They aren't 23" like before. My legs aren't quite as big either. Soon, those things will catch up. I'm sorry they didn't have moreoff the older planes at the show. We have the aerospace museum here with all kinds of old planes. I've never had time to check it out. That is the problem with San Diego, which is considered America's finest city. There is so much here to see besides Sea World and the Wild Animal Park, and also the world famous San Diego Zoo. You truly couldn't see everything here in a lifetime. Just think how fortunate we are to have seen all these things. I think about it a lot, how God has blessed us. There are children all over the world starving, unclothed, unloved, and no shelter to protect them. Yet we have been blessed to live and be able to see all these wonderful things. On Friday, the Me-262 did not fly. Why? 3x P-51 Mustangs did not fly at all. Why? Patrulla Águila did not fly at all. Why? The "theatrical" performance at the end of the Friday program was the most stupid thing I've seen in the 30 years I've been going to airshows. I only watched because there were many helicopters flying there….
It rained a lot on Friday; I was at the airport all day. I think many planes didn't fly because of that. Also, the clouds were shallow, so the Patrulla Águila show wouldn't have been seen well. For me, it was the first time at AirPower24, and I was very impressed. It was a charming show.
