Message to the Haters: Whenever someone criticizes you they are telling you their story NOT YOURS. Some people give up real easy and loose the drive to carry through. They try, they GIVE UP then develop a false perception about it or anything similar. The sad thing about some haters is that they ASSUME and never try because they have already sabotaged their abilities and have SET LIMITATIONS ON THEM SELVES then try to impose THEIR OWN LIMITATIONS (ON YOU). Be careful who you let influence you, some people are positive and full of encouragement and some are full of negativity, LIMITATIONS and POISON. When I pursue any task I do it with 1000% PASSION & EFFORT and I dont let anybody tell me I CANT or STOP ME, YOU DO THE SAME and Keep on SMASHIN IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME!

At 8:54 into the video take those readings and check your pick up sensors, check your crank shaft position sensor resistance ( sensor is located on the side of the crank shaft pulley) those will effect injector pulse. I would try those first.

Thanks I’m stunned 40 years walking one direction watch one car repair video and I find myself doing a 180 and jogging the other direction. You are impressive sir. Keep up the good work 🙏🏻

Oldschool Funk kills it! His video about fixing a Civic that won't start, was amazing. My son and I were able to troubleshoot and repair his car because of Oldschool's comprehensive instruction. It was especially helpful how he walked us through the troubleshooting process, which allowed us to narrow down and eliminate the possible causes of the problem. Our issue turned out to be the coil, which was not the issue in his video but, he had shown us how a coil works, how to test it, and that steered us in the right direction. I had never messed with an electrical problem before. This was the best car repair video I've ever watched. If you're ever down in San Diego I'd love to buy you a cold one. Thanks bro!

Nice video!! The ignition control module is is a transistor. It receives a small control voltage from the
Computer; it turns off and on a higher voltage/amperage to the coil. The coil uses this high/amps and converts it to high voltage low amperage. This high voltage creates the spark as the electrons jump across the spark plug gap.

That entire video from beginning to end ministered (life) to me through your living: teaching auto mechanics, caring for your children, sharing your testimony...this is a normal Christian experience and is encouraging to see. I am reminded of a famous quote, "Preach the gospel at all times and speak words when necessary." Actually, both our living and our speaking the gospel are very necessary and critical, but the point is that I see that you are living and preaching the gospel. What a wonderful work the Lord objectively for us and subjectively in our experience to transform our living. Keep letting your light shine!
The Lord touched me when you talked about our leadership and appointment by the Lord. You nailed it. We need to lead others by our following the Lord. The Lord is the most amazing and wonderful person that I am privelidged to know. When we spend adequate time with Him in His Word, we get filled and cannot but speak the words of this life.
I was considering some of the comments about the "haters" that I read below. I thought about the "haters" during Jesus's time on earth, and they were there hating then too. I chucked because the haters are nothing new and will always be with us (I've learned a secret to keep from lettign them get to me is to pray for them ~ just to bless them and pray for their greatest possible good ~ doesn't our heavenly Father want this anyway, Thes or Tim 1:4-5, God desires all men to be saved and to come to the full knowledge of the truth). Anyway, I'd say the haters during the Lord's incarnation, human living, to crucifixion would be the religious Pharasees, and this is the group of men that were supposed to be leading me to God. Rather, as we know the story, they essentially caused the death of the Lord Jesus. That same group of haters told Peter and the early apostels to stop teaching the name of Jesus and that they killed the Lord, but their response was (paraphrasing here) whether we obey man or God, we must obey God and we cannot but speak the words of this life." And they surely continued in this way!
In fact, Stephen spoke until they stoned him to death. The coolest thing about his martyrdom was that the Bible says his face shone like and angel, and Stephen was praying for the ones killing him, just as the Lord prayed for His enemies on the cross...only God has that kind of power to forgive, so Stephen was surely mature in the divine life and ready to be taken by the Lord. I believe that the Bible says that the Lord Jesus was STANDING -- notice the detail here in this word. "Standing" and not "sitting" shows that the Lord was very concerned about what was happening to Stephen. The Lord really does care, especially for His believers/followers.
    Keep speaking!!

    • @ianutube22
      @ianutube22 7 років тому +1

I was always fascinated by the story of the death of Stephen. It struck me as so incredible I would imagine it in my mind to try and comprehend it. To think that he prayed for those killing him is revealing of what was in his heart (the spirit of God). Truly amazing and it impacted me and made me want to be like him which was to be Christ-like in nature. If we have the spirit of God in us we become united in the body of Christ and become one.

The pure self in the play we call existence gets identified with the person, then it has some affection for what i call the 'infection', then it deeply believes its a person becoming a victim of fear, sorrow, anger betrayal, disappointment; a tortured life is lived because it see the world as objects not the 'one', as subject.
To walk in the forest of mind is a very unstable place. Be bold and courageously, say "I am" the self". To allow yourself to be distracted or tricked or seduced or resist the source and center of your divine being is because we have an invested value in the illusion or concept, of fully identifying as a person of power, control, dominance and superiority. We have become accustomed to living in affliction, limitation and fear.
I am not asking you to perform some spiritual gymnastics. Just quietly within your own being , allow my words to point you to the place, that you can never not be.
Once, in contact there, never give up! When the mind's resistance comes, it is because you are on to something. Your attention has turned inwardly towards the source of the universe.Once you have tasted this delicious fruit, you can never go back to the life of a person, with a micro chip, a robot, a mechanical automaton, that was once human living with turmoil with disregard for creation, killing, taking, eating and shitting aiding and abating the elite in their dirty inquisitor work to take over our planet given as a gift freely by infinite intelliegence, for the evolution of the human-beings. Resist this evil diabolical conspiracy against you, nature, and God.
The beauty and magnitude of God, you will see not as object but as subject. We are to busy fulfilling our own projections, so we don't see this ultimate reality of the divine, within every human-being. This makes our minds open to the auto sugestion of others.
We are all vulnerable to the powers of persuasion, leverage and organized materialism, deception and group mania; and the madness of an immoral military, in Spain, Greece, Germany, Italy and France; then, the United States of America is next. This has now become the diabolical mission of the elite trillionaires, a one world government and religion by force and threat of death, in their "New World Oder," prefabricated for us to remain forever slaves in obligated servitude, for these dominant devils, who mock the divine creation of God; and manipulated you all, into giving up your constitutional freedoms and liberties.
The reluctant warrior is always interested in serving mankind not fighting wars, where soldiers kill innocent women and children suffering from a suicidal post traumatic stress syndrome, when blindly following orders, from the industrial military complex, who empower young men to enjoy killing people without questioning the insane authorities, that harbour its objectives with pay and rewards.
Many young vulnerable soldiers must become aware, that their insecurities comes from a deep need to be loved, validated as strong man. The protectors, of your families, wife and children and pets yet the Military enmeshes its self into these invisible needs with authority, they break you down and rebuild you up throwing at you a piece of meat to begin the process of changing your values and principals to a reward system manipulating your lower self esteem and creating a super monster wounded underneath; a mega-lo maniac, who needs to suck on the breast of an evil and iniquitous government, which our Constitution says, "We The People Must Take Arms Against It".
Now, you know why, through out history, they have taken your guns and rifles away. Your own government, does not care for their soldiers; they are collateral damage; a label placed to avoid feeling and caring for its people and soldiers. They manufacture the lie, have used the lied to deceive our military and get away with it; because Generals, have been bought and paid for, financing wars, from both sides knowing the outcome a head of time and enjoying the spoils of war; the wealth of others, stolen from grand parents, in foreign countries, after the blitzes creed massacrer, of that population, then investing the spoils in corporate companies, that return a dividend making the wealth grow forever. These company's, who were, also in on the deal to take over, a countries resources and paying private armies to slaughter your blood lines and genes from the face of the earth. Hiring good people to do their dirty work and operate their machines. This is called progress and we too are deceived by this propaganda.
Tell me reluctant warrior, what will you not do!
Remember, "You are the resistance" by Alex Jones. Recognize the truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oldskool, I recommend that anybody driving a civic or accord with over 100k go to ebay and buy a cheap used fuel pump and distributor and keep it in the trunk in case of emergencies. Might also want to carry a 12dc soldering iron for the main relay.
I carried a used fuel pump in my accord and one day my car died on the freeway. Took me 10min to swap it out . Very easy to swap fuel pumps on the 6th gen honda accord and it is very easy to swap out a distributor on them. All you really need is a 1/4 drive ratchet, 6" extension and a 8mm and 12mm socket to do both jobs. You don't even have to put all of the screw in, just put in one for the distributor and two or three on the fuel pump then put the rest on when you get home.

Huge fan here, just wanted to let you guys know you're awesome!
20 years of age here (21 in a few months), I own a car that's a few months older than me ('95 Opel Tigra 1.4) and your tutorials have been a HUGE help!
P.S Glad to see your daughter helping you out, being into cars and all, she seems stunning -- both on the inside and on the outside!
It's snowing heavily in here and I sadly don't have a garage, so I have postponed most of the things I'm gonna be doing. Soon as snow melts down, I'm changing the timing belt, water pump, flushing the cooling system and changing the fuel filter. Car has some mayo on the oil cap (slightly), which kinda worries me, but it could be due to it being driven for like 10 miles in total in the last 3 months (been helping my family with almost everything I make at work, spent whatever was left on the car parts, no gas money).. Battery is dead from me rarely driving it in the past few months and the -15c temps outside, so I'm charging it tomorrow and taking her out for a two-hour drive around the city, will see if the mayo cleans up.
    God bless!

I got a new distributor although I suspect only the ignitor was fried. Anyway it started right up, surprising me how fast. This is the hardest car problem I've fixed! Thanks!!!!

Realest talk I'ever heard! Very truthful and inspiring talk about the children. Keeep pressing on with those needy life advice; especially your kids aiding you on your grammer. So touching and humbling... both children and Dad should be proud!! Never too late for a shower of rain. Great video overall.

Thank you brother. This is an awesome tutorial and it is really kind of you to create it. Five years later in the middle of a pandemic a friend got ripped off for the same issue. A mechanic charged her $600 for a distributor cap, spark plugs and to change the valve cover gasket and didn't fix it! The engine still starts for now. Hopefully, now I can pay it forward and get the job done.

I fixed my 1998 Honda Civic Ex using the same troubleshooting in this video. I watched several of your other videos too just out of curiosity and I think you're doing great stuff. I replaced my ignition coil (extremely weak spark) with a non-OEM part ($15) and replaced the distributor cap and rotor with OEM parts (about $30 each) because there was noticeable wear (expected since they're 23 years old). Thanks again for the video... it helped me do my first home car repair!

The deal is YOU are a mechanic. The kids at a shop now don't know and don't care. No spark just change the distributer bingo 700bucks.
When I grew up I learned how to rebuild an alternator, starter or anything.
God Bless keep teaching those kids.

I will get to check my distributor on 97 Civic one time this year.
But this start issue is something, nothing ever goes smoothly. My knowledge is the knowledge God given me and those whom taught me or I asked for help. This video is great and informative all the way. When I get it fixed it will be on the road for my mom after she gets a newer vehicle. It's my new toy to fix-up and I will be back.
