Laurent Tobel 1997 World championships LP (Pink Panther)

20th in the SP, 10th in the FP !!!
Incredible jump content (seven triples : triple axel-triple toe, two triples lutzes, triple flip-triple toe, triple loop) and world-famous choreograhy to the Pink Panther (not only is it fun but his speed, flow, spins and steps are great). His tallness (1m89, 6'2'') really makes his skating and jumps spectacular, instead of appearing sloppy, his lines and posture are actually fine and stretched. Look how is second mark is two or three tenths higher.
Imagine his first mark in the last group !
Had he not skated in the first group (he was 20th), he could have easily finished in the top 8 if not higher, this FP was for me among the best ones of the day (it was ranked 10th overall but if skated earlier could have been ranked much higher when the judges have more margin). Splendid performance, his personal best for sure.
