Emanuel SANDHU 2005 Cup of China LP

I cannot believe this amazing performance was not on youtube yet !
Emanuel, contrary to what is often said, had a lot of great performances and not only at Nationals. For instance, he won both the Skate Canada and the Cup of China in 2005, with this brilliant LP to an original composition that was also ranked 4th best at the later 2006 worlds.
Here he lands a quad toe and eight triples ! Two triple axels (the second one past the half mark, in combination with a triple toe!), two triple-triple combinations, all the triples including a triple loop-triple toe combination and a triple lutz thrown in after he missed the first attempt.
Today the marks seem ridiculous with this LP at 147.56 (73.96 TES because the elements had different values back then, for example 4T2T worth then 10.3, now 11.6, 3A : 7.5 then, 8.5 now. Also, the GOE were less generous than today, besides he received questionable GOE, for instance some judges had -2 on the quad that looked indeed two-footed but is clean on the replay !) and too low PCS at 73.60 for the amazing way he skates. The composition and originality of this program, the spins and moves are just brilliant. He moved from 4th in the SP to 1st in the LP to win this competition. The public was sparse and cold, imagine the standing ovation this program would have got in other countries.
