i have to say thank you so much. I have watched so many youtube videos to try find out how to program my first kiln for my first bisque fire and could not find anything till i came across yours. very clear and i have now done my first successful bisque fire. thank you !! I am officially your biggest fan :)
Thanks - nice series.. really clear and informative :). just wondering do you know if you can retro fit an old front loading kiln (the kilns and furnaces T190 for instance 😁 ) with a harting plug socket in order to use a digital controller? And if so is it something a regular electrician might be able to do? I live in the north of Scotland and was hoping to get a kiln care KCR 32C WiFi controller but only if it can be wired in to be made compatible with my old T190. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge ✨🙏🏼
I have the latest version of the PotteryCrafts controller. The manual provided is confusing for a beginner and the stored programmes were different from those listed in the manual. Without this video I would have had a hard time fully understanding how to change the programme to my requirements.
Hey Ken, my kiln does not open, heat lock does not let it to open, even though it is as cool as 35 C and amber light is no longer on. What can be the problem? Please, help!
thank you , is it possible to give us a chance to transilate the contents to Arabic , this video will help my students in Oman if it translated , your video setting blocked translation option. thanks

Do you know anything about using PID controllers and programming them to mimic cones ?

Very clear, but are you talking about degrees C or degrees F, I guess the former.
hi, Ken, Have a question: 600 degrees F or C? Thank you!
I guessed C :)
Sure it's °C
We do Centigrade in the UK

I suppose the alternative is to make your own video (in a world where it is assumed that English is spoken by everyone).
