Thank you for the interesting video. The item crashes in Dracula X don't look bad unless they are directly compared to the more impressive ones from Rondo of Blood. Due to Dracula X being released during Nintendo's censorship era, I wonder if a difference in an item crash like Grand Cross was more due to censorship rather than hardware limitations. That's probably also why the Bible seems to be missing from the game and why the stopwatch didn't summon hexagrams. This comparison reminds me of how I formed my initial impression of Dracula X and wrote it off as a watered-down version of Rondo of Blood. However, I've since seen more of what the game has to offer and I plan on giving Dracula X a real chance in the future now that it looks like it has the potential to be a solid Castlevania game. As great as the series is overall, not every entry can be on the same level as Rondo of Blood and I now realize it was absurd of me to have expected that with Dracula X. That comparison would be like expecting all of the metroidvania games in the series to be on the same level as Symphony of the Night. Had I held that same kind of expectation, I never would have come to appreciate the genius of a game like Aria of Sorrow, which is my third favorite in the series only behind Symphony and Rondo.
I know that is sad that the SNES missed some (no "book", no additional stages, etc.). At least is a good game. However is no match against the original version.
I hate the religious censorship in the US games. Even in the Netflix series, the Church is the enemy, where in the game they are an ally. Would love to see a video of all the religious mentions in these games. Grand Cross is awesome in Rondo!
Dracula X it's not a remake of Rondo of Blood, is more like a Super Mario Bros The Lost Levels, a reimagining of the original Remake the Dracula X Chronicles for PSP
@@virgilherring581 I speak in terms of not being more than different levels based on the original, if it is known that SMB2(JP) is the "sequel" but I do not present improvements only levels with more difficulty, Dracula X is the reimagining of Rondo of Blood and some take it as The Lost Levels of Castlevania
@@CPS42069 That's not what he meant. The uploader embedded the Heart consumption rate within the video, but it's completely off. For example, he claims that the Axe Item Crash costs only 1 Heart, which is obvioulsy completely wrong. Also, your saying that each Item Crash costs 10 Hearts is wrong too. It depends on the sub-weapon: for example, Holy Water costs 20, Watch costs 30, and so on.
I know i'm 4 months late but i think that is the item crash name (kinda like how holy water item crash is called hydro storm) he even says that the sub weapon is the bible @@n-aera
konami cheaped out and lazy for snes version rondo. snes could deff handle the same stuff rondo did. just up the megs. and use the ehancement chips. sigh. it could have potentially looked even better... had they really cared to make a port of rondo. instead of a quick dirty cash grab. smh. the only big sacrifice would be the fmv scenes. which i dont mind. for snes standards... too bad no nintendo staff were big on castlevania to double check seal of qaulity here. cuz this aint no rondo. lol. 😮😔

Even if it doesn’t do anything, they key item crash is exceptionally useful
Invincibility
It even kills enemies and the best part is it doesnt even consume any hearts
Wow! This is the best comparison ever. And I even love that pose Richter does when he unleashes the attacks.
Nice comparison... I would add it SOTN too. It has the best item crashes, especially Hydrostorm and Grand Cross
The Bible crash is worse, though.
Sotn grand cross kinda bad
The Dagger Item Crash Called In Portrait Of Ruin Is "Thousand Blades"
Thanks, i thought it was thousand daggers
Thank you for the new transitions, goes perfectly with the game.
That bat screen transition effect is cool. I've never seen something like that.
I love how Rondo of Blood's Grand Cross is actually accurate to the first anime cutscene.

Love your stuff, keep it up!
Grand Cross Rondo of Blood Excellent
Grand Cross Dracula X Similar Spiral Axe
I love the little yell Rondo Richter does like he genuinely seems pissed off.
Thousand edge in the SNES version is missing frames of animation, and you can't change direction.
Your video Qualitys are so thing else❤️❤️
Dracula X it's not a remake of Rondo of Blood, is more like a Super Mario Bros The Lost Levels, a reimagining of the original
Remake the Dracula X Chronicles for PSP
Let me do a little bit of clickbait 😂👍
Not able to download this game for nothing on my android
Wish I could
Not sure what you're talking about here. The Lost Levels was not a reimagining of the original Super Mario Bros, it was just a sequel.

What can i say? This video and channel are absolutely awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😎🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
A perfect example of censorship
Gran Cruz el mejor ataque de todos, viva cristo rey😎
Não vejo a hora de você comprarar as dublagens.
Rondo Of Blood Has The Best Item Crash
Should've added the ones from Dracula x chronicles lol
Hydro storm doesn't do shit in Dracula X
The remake is Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles
Hey bits and beats do the striders hiryu and hien from struder 2 moveset please man?
Grand Cross looks way better in Rondo of Blood
OOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH
The grand daddy of the Belmonts
....literally
The heart consumption is all wrong, aside from that, nice video.
it consumes 10 hearts per crash, this uploader use infinite hearts cheat as showoff

Missing Dracula X Chronicles
How do u call it, "magic book" when its clearly the bible. Smh
It's weird that he didn't put bible when he put Holy Water
I think that's what they called it in the Americas due to the stupid censorship laws (they seriously called it "Magic" Book. Kinda blasphemous)

*Holy Cross
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Symphony of the night's voices of Hydro storm and Holly Cross (Gran cross) are better
Interesante 👀 👍 😮 👌
The winner is: RITCHER BELTHMONT😂
Sweeeet.
Hydro storm.
Tbh why play on on a superior PC & the other one console? Why not test them both on PC?
PC Engine is a console, not an actual PC in the traditional sense
Crand Cross PAL sigue

The SNES DraculaX Is garbage that shouldn't have been created
For me Dracula x is better and one of the best castlevania games ever
