Could you use thermal laminating sheets prior to the ones that didn’t sublimate well?

I am not a fan of using the laminate sheets as I feel the adhesion is just not there.

You can do an oven and use shrink wrap.

Sublimation is permanent so there is not really a way to fix issues.

For metal, don't you need your Nomex pad?

Depends on the metal blank. I use it when it calls for it in the directions.
