Russell Hunter once appeared in an episode of A Touch of Frost which stared David Jason. I wonder if the two ever talked about Mr Stabs? I suspect they probably politely didn’t talk about it though because in the Ace of Wands documentary Pamela Lonsdale said she thought that Russell never forgave her for allowing Mr Stabs to be recast.
