How do you keep those 400 trees watered during the summer? Seems like it would take a while

I struggle a lot. It takes me about 2.5 hrs to water and I have been watering every other day lately due to the heat.

Mayday for me keeps color for around 8 weeks. I still have yellows as of now. After it turns green it keeps variegation. So for me it’s worth it, but it’s not worth stressing over it. I currently have 3 of them and they are all great. But I must say I do prefer Mystic and JP.

I had the same situation with Maple Ridge Nursery. I bought a 3 gallon and when I went to plant it in the ground, it was just a little 1 gallon. 😡

I keep hearing this from them. I feel very bad because they are a small family owned nursery with limited resources and it breaks my heart. At the same time I owe honesty to my subscribers.

I got a 1 gallon Germaine's Gyration from them and its rootball was the size of my fist. I swear 1 week later 🍁🥜 got one from MRMaple that was 6 feet tall. I felt so bad about that purchase and haven’t been back since
