    It's an easy-to-use route to resources, faster than scrolling through videos on YT!
    Here's what to do if you're presented with the LCM and GCF and you have to find numbers that fit!
    Tip: I'm using my prime factors table here, so make sure you're familiar with that, in any of the other videos on LCM by prime factorization and the GCF video (all in the playlist LCM & GCF)..
    Stick with me right through, take the notes, then ace it for yourself!

      Ah, I see. Well, glad you get it and sorry I clearly misunderstood.🤗 I'm delighted you like my teaching style. 😃 I teach the way I want to be taught I suppose. This is what would have helped me as a student. I am aware that my approach is often quite different from what other teachers are doing. It's just who I am. No need to apologise, but thank you for elaborating on your first note, I appreciate that. 😉
      Big hugs,

    The remaining factors we had were 5, 2, 2, 7 after writing the common 2 and 3 for the all 3 numbers.
    So how come we wrote 7 twice first for the 1st number and then for the 3rd number as well, when we only had 7 once in the factors

      My pleasure! It was a fab request from Djuka! A tightly framed suggestion is so helpful. If a student has an issue, you KNOW it's not just you, there's TONS of people with exactly the same issue. Requests are welcome, but they will have to fit in around other stuff I'm doing, and if it tacks on to something I've already done, that makes it easier to fit into a schedule, tbh, because there's an existing set of videos to link it to.

    Hey, can you do a video about finding the reciprocal of numbers

    • @LetsDoMath
      @LetsDoMath  3 роки тому +5

      A reciprocal is the inverse. So you know how any number is the same as that number over 1? Hold that thought for a moment... Now you remember how we divide fractions, in my video on this you hear me say we find 'the reciprocal' of this fraction, we 'take the inverse' of it, we FLIP IT OVER.
      So that 17 = 17/1. Which means... the inverse, or the RECIPROCAL is...?
      1/17!
      You don't need a video about this, you just need to think in this way. Or maybe we do need a video, but just a 1 minute special?
      You GOT this, Yara!

    • @LetsDoMath

      This will relate to your ability to flip between percentages and fractions. Did you see my vid on Fractions and Decimals to Percent? That's where you start on this one.
      I'm quite a way off pie charts, sadly. I hope I can finish percentages by Christmas. Then I'll think about what I'm doing next on the channel. 🤗😃😎💕

    • @LetsDoMath
      @LetsDoMath  3 роки тому

      Have you not seen my vids on finding LCM by prime factorization, or my vid on GCF? The line that says LCM contains a 8 because 7 is one of the prime factors of 840, as found in the prime factorization stage. As for the other 7, well that’s where I’m just creating 3 other numbers that can satisfy the requirement that these numbers could have the GCF of 6.
