- The Terra Nova Scarf crochet pattern was designed to compliment the Terra Nova Beanie which can also be found here on my channel!

Skill Level: Easy
Gauge: 15 sts x 17 rows of Even Moss Stitch = 4 inches
Finished Size: 8.5 x 70 inches
Yarn: Wander by Furls Fiberarts (100% Acrylic; 3.5 oz, 100 g; Approx. 120 yds, 109 m). Worsted/medium Weight (4). You will need approximately 220 yards per hat. If using multiple colours as shown:
Colour A: Midnight 1 ball
Colour B: Thatch 1 ball
Colour C: Snow 1 ball
Colour D: Meadow 1 ball
Colour E: Mist 1 ball
Hook: Size I/9 (5.5 mm) Hook. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge

I love the crunch stitch. I just got done making a Valentines day blanket in this stitch and working on another blanket with this stitch. Nadia at Yarnutopia just posted a scarf tutorial with this stitch as well. Its a great warm stitch for the winter months!

Whoa! I started a scarf for the daughter in the colors of the college she is going to in the fall. I was using the sieve stitch, but I’m going to froggit and make this one!!!!!

I've never seen an add-on color change done this way before. Question, so all you need to do now is weave the old color in to hide it, as normal? No knots to be tied at all? Thank You so much!! 😀
