58. PCT 2024 NoBo, 1123 - 1142 , Bear lake outflow - best campsite yet, July 6th

The climb up to a ridge slowed me down. There was also an 8 mile stretch without water. It's another hot day, supposed to be hot for a week.
Once I was up on the ridge, the hiking wasn't too hard. I had to watch my step because the trail was narrow, and the drop off was steep and high.
I took an hour to drink water and cool off, and I'm glad I did. The 3 mile climb wore me out again. It was totally worth it to get to the campsite at 1142. It was huge, had a breeze, and no mosquitoes!
