Why is my monitor beeping and the pictures are not showing from the cameras?
Not sure, check your monitor with something else to see if it is the monitor or your DVR that is having a issue. IF DVR then check your hard drive inside, disconnect it and power up the DVR and see if it recovers. Dead hard drives that that sometimes.
I just sent one on faded out to black screen and yes it kept beeping I got a email stating it can't be fixed and gave me a refund

If you factory reset will it clear data
No only the setting will reset but it will start over writing to hew data, you will need to reformat the drive/s
