Never played RedAlert2 online. Only experience I have is battle 1vs1 in RedAlert1 in computer club for 4 hours. Then my real money to pay for computer were finished 😂.
It was year 97 I guess. No good internet was really available in my country. Only computer clubs with LAN connection :)

Really good game. This map is excellent for Apocs: narrow corridors prevent maneuver warfare making frontal assaults the norm and this is where heavy armor excels. Unlike other games, RA2 makes heavy units useful by making land units accelerate in certain situations. Also, Apocs are extremely versatile units overall as we have seen more than once in this game. They way you enhanced them with the IC was sweet. Always a pleasure to watch your games. Hats off to this one in particular. GG.
Amazing how Bryan had a highest end-score than everyone else combined, yet STILL barely won. Wow! :O
i just noticed that this match (the first half of it at least) was pretty much lag free. Good stuff.

Im 30 yo, i played this game when i was a kid. I remember i got CD of Red alert 2, i played it like for 2 years in a row every day, and one day i decided to check install folder... guess what.. I found yuris revenge Icon. I pressed it and brand "new" game in front of kid appears. Can you Imagine the joy ? Now I'm eating my lunch and i feel like a kid again. Stange feeling. I was forgetting about it.

Bro red was talking all that shit, Bryan gets back doored, absolutely smokes yellow and teal, losses his teammate early, then smokes purple who panics and instead of base trading he flew back to his base lost all his choppers, red got smoked after he got cocky with the dreads, and Bryan just steam rolls the rest. The huge save? He built 5 engie's in a classic Gerhale engie rush.

03:12 - possibly a dumb question, but... When the Ore Miner came under attack, why did he move the Ore miner to the right, thus closer to the pillbox, instead of DOWN AND LEFT, and AWAY from it? :O

At this point, superweapons ON is just to give the others a fighting chance, Bryan. The difference in micro is so huge.
Only cowards play with SW off. No offence. If you're good you can defend vs the attack ones with zero or near zero losses, assuming they get to fire.

The apocs seem faster than usual?
They no longer have to stop to attack with the new patch. so they just keep moving. That helps too.

But even if I did, the question still remains:
How was the MCV on move-command if Bryan never gave it one?
Is there some hidden mechanic to the game where you can issue a "move away" command simply by keyboard hotkeys?
@@kurzackd he gave a move command, the cursor indicates it. Look at the bottom right where the MCV moves to.
You can issue a command to an MCV the very moment you've redeployed a Construction Center. However the waypoint line wont show up until the MCV can move (when the animation finishes)
Much like when a unit is issued a move command and is blocked by other friendly units, the waypoint won't show, but the command is still there. The moment the blocking units move, the commanded unit will move and display the waypoint line
@@WingMaster562 man, I KNOW all that, but I still don't see WHEN exactly he issued the command HOW exactly he could've issued it.
My best guess is that, when he selected the Construction Yard, he did a queue-command (was it the Shift key?), and hit the "hotkey for UnDeploy"-shift-"LeftClick" to the bottom right.

Newb question but why does he leave a nuke ready to fire for so long? why not launch it asap?
In general, if I have a dedicated opponent, you're right. I should be using it ASAP. But in these 2v2v2v2 games, if you aren't absolutely attacking someone, using a nuke will cause a reaction. I sometimes avoid this if I'm "neutral" at the time.
