@@jqa16 it's a gamble and ea could ruin it but the dev team they brought in for remastering Ra1 did a good job so there's a chance they could make a good ra2 remaster as well.

hell of a fight. I've never seen you using mirage tanks to help defence. I usually try to position them in groups of 4 or 6 close to each access to my base (or where AI groups troops before their attack). It helps reduce enemy numbers by 30 or 40%. Really useful on early stages

@@skywalker772I honestly can't remember specifically but I vaguely remember googling it, downloading some patch but then having to right click the .exe files and changing the compatibility settings to Windows xp I think.
It was a big faff around but after playing around it is workable.

Extra hard AI means attacking with more units than the normal hard AI. Look 14:43. You should destroy the bridge with tanks early and finish off blue under your base. Than build a prism tank army and destroy everything. Good video btw

pop a bridge and they fix it within a minute, it takes a big proportion of your firepower to do and is very risky when there's so many enemy units pouring over it - plus those wooden bridges don't collapse when both ends are destroyed, they stay floating on the water

I was wondering. A couple things. How do you manage to go against Brutal Enemies so often and win? I wouldn't survive long against brutal. And two, I have the Ultimate Collection, is it possible to get these maps on there? I see so many maps you do and I want to play on them
Hey - i have the original Red Alert 2 version, and as you can see in my description, i always upload the maps i play.
You should just download the file i upload, and drop it into your RA2 folder - then go to skirmish and find the map
@@zoom3000 I'll try that. But I mostly go into Yuri's Revenge. I only play RA2 to do the story. Yuri's Revenge has all the unique voices and voice lines of the units

It's one of the building you can capture. The hospital auto-heals, and the little machine shop auto-repairs all vehicles.

pls help. I just downloaded the game...but it s something wrong there.
I set the difficult to easy...but even after this the game ist to difficult. I just build the barracks and the bruttals came with lots of tanks...and game over in no more than 30 sec. Can the difficulty be adjusted from somewhere else?
I mention that in normal condition...it's easy for me with 7 brutals.

it takes this much of time to defeat 7 Ai.. i think it would have been easier if you allso used your spies on enemies barracks and war factories.. you can also use your IFV as anti air attacks.

Hey, its sould be super easy - read my video description, download the extra hard ai mod, and just replace the files in your Yuris Revenge game folder. Thtas it. BUT! make sure you back up your old files, for any case. Or just copy the whole RA2 folder, make 2 copies of the game on your computer, one regular game, one with the extra hard ai mod

Why didn't you destroy the bridges?
Like to watch you play but if you are gonna invest so much into jets, you should use them to stop attacks instead of only using them for suicide missions to take out the opposing construction yard. You could have made your life a lot easier early game by using your jets to take out the ground and sea forces that were attacking you. Especially when playing as Korea, your jets should be favorited and should basically always be in motion taking out targets.
Why you dont focus on airforce ?

The more you have, the faster they can build vehicles and troops respectively - same with multiple construction yards, buildings are quicker to be ready

Yep you right, but after all, infiltrate of barracks and war factory is only the second priority. The first priority is of course to infiltrate the money. And in this mod is harder to send spy any way lol.

Bro is there a fix on Extra Hard AI Mode where they don't funnel and block the bridge? I think AI should prioritize rebuilding bridges asap.
Also if Extra Hard AI Spy could also steal our cash.
Hmm i dont think so. Basically the AI block itself each time that 1 unit wanna drive north and the other one south in small path. And because of the extra hard AI have mass units, the chances for this kind of block are increasing.

Eh. You should use 2 3 spy on first enemy. The first should be gold miner, the second should be factory, thenmilitia.
Then 2 3 next spy go to miner.
Then spam prism tank, some patriot tanks. Just wait till some prism tank got max lv and use them clear all.

Very good control skills.
Tactically, i would have destroyed both bridges so i only need to focus on anti-air defense and take control on the left side faster. Put the guardian G.I.s in battle fortress to make them mobile and protected from crashing kirov.
my defensive battle fortress usually loaded with 4 guardian g.i. and one seal.
Train some dogs and post them around the base to avoid spies .

with 4 prisms and 1 bunker you could have destroyed south enemy..why you keep sending prism tanks alone? you need some armor tanks in fromt of em to take the hits..
