Oh my....I've been listening to and watching videos of Gordon Lighfoot all day since I heard the news of his passing, but I haven't cried until now. This one did it. To see him there with Ian Tyson singing Alberta Bound in Alberta is just too much.
I cried the second I heard the news and have been listening to his music and interviews since.
Two Canadian legends standing in the snow!
Wow Don Getty, Ian Tyson, and now Gordon Lightfoot. RIP 😢
My folks were there; a bitingly cold day, indeed. Two legends on stage. Those were the days!
RIP Gordon and Ian.
Brings a tear to my eye.1988! When Canada was united. Now petty, power hungry, and misguided government has ruined it!
And when Canada was far more ethnoculturally homogeneous & _stronger._ There's a reality that a lot of people need a serious (rude) awakening to.
@@sovereignty14Glad to finally see someone saying the truth.
You could say the same of America unfortunately 😢
Um, petty power-hungry partisans, maybe?
@@donnabiegler6938. Which of the 37 countries in the Americas are you referring to?
Thank you Gordon and Ian.
Canada's songwriter emeritus...
Freekin awesome
I always say fantastic talent,
Too cool man...

@@petewerner1494 Are you kidding me? See 1968-79, and 80-84.
@@lincolnmaceachern2410 Yea, sorry, was thinking of the other one at present!
I've had freedom all my life because I live in a democratic country. I would not live in any other country.than Canada.

Beautiful
What I remember about 1988 Calgary Olympics" *NO SNOW!*
Neat! Don't remember this at all.
Jim McKay couldn’t STFU during the song.
I was up
This was back when Canada was great, it has been down hill ever since.
Lunick & Aria sings "Alberta Bound"
Geez! And I thought it was just the US that was racist. Referring to comments below…
We were once a united country; it’s sad to see what Turdeau has brought us to.
You're dreamin' we have never been. Don't blame Trudeau, blame pigheaded, self-interested types who 'advocate" for "freedom."
And learn to spell our prime minister's name, you ignoramus.
When Canada was 98 percent Canadian . It is a pity that this culture will be wiped out due to multiculturism
Ugh. Now Canada seems to be at least 98 per cent blowhards who live in the oast.
