AT Section Hike PA- RT309 to Bake Oven Knob

This week I tackle another section of the Appalachain Trail in Pennsylvania. Had a great hike with Shadoe and Kurt completing this hike gets me almost caught up to where Panda is.

I haven’t been through that section in many years. Brings back good memories. I’ll have to get back out there. Knifes edge is pretty cool.

It was a good section. The clean up work on Bake Oven Knob is still holding up. Knifes edge was a cool spot and the copperhead was an added bonus.

It was very cool getting to see the copperhead there. Dodging the rain was great I don't think any of us liked the idea of tackling some of different rock area while wet.

That copperhead had to come out after we got there, looks like I put my pole right where we saw him... Either that, or that was the most chill copperhead ever.

Yeah I had a hard time trying to place where your pole landed vs how tucked under the rock it was. It was close either way.
