    What in your experience causes 2005 Mazda 3 cars with factory theft-deterrent systems, to lock the car on their own and or randomly trigger the alarm?? A local dealer wasn't able to diagnose this.. We are at the point of thinking to create a switch to enable/disable the horn which might work. We tried a used PJB, which fixed a Parking lockout on the Auto Trans, but didn't help with our locking/intermittent alarm issue.
    Thanks for any help on this!!

    What gauge wire was this and was it solid or braided?

    Thanks! I got my horn working again by jumping the terminals in the relay.

      How exactly did you jump them? I tried taking a small wire and just shoving it into the two terminals he showed on the diagram while also having the relay in, like he showed on the video. I don't know if the wire was too thick and wasn't able to make good contact or if something else is the issue. I know my fuses arent tripped and the relay works still because it clicks when I press the horn. Any help would be appreciated.

      @@ethansimpson4606 maybe your actual horn is bad. My horn didn't work at all, with steering wheel or lock button on remote pushed twice. Put a new horn and now it works when you push the lock button twice but not the steering wheel, gonna try this to see if it fixes it all together. Hope this helps. You can see at the very end of the video how he did it with just the wire.

      I had to go back in later under fuse box because brake lights stopped working, it's fed of same circuit as horn, corroded wire under black tapped splice connection, just tug and it falls apart cheers sandy

    What kinda of wire should I use? I want to try this on my Mazda. It has very similar issues. I have changed the relay but has the same clicking sound.

      The fix for this is a green corroded wire just under the fusebox, I'm sure the wire is red in colour and feeds the brake lights also

    Is this for real? It sounds like English, but not for Americans. Irish, Scotch? Did he find the problem? Did he make a fix? What the Hell did he do?

      Lift up fuse box u will find corroded connection where 2 red wires connect to 1 wrapped in a insulation material, just give it a tug and connection will break because of green mould. The horn circuit is also connected to brake lights check them as well! Cheers sandy

    I didn't quite get it. At the end it was the relay(defect?) that caused problems? or the wiring in the fuse box?

    • @sandyande
      @sandyande  4 роки тому +2

      It was actually the wiring under the fuse box, a corroded connector that feed both brake lights and horn cheers sandy
