I like the SS one better, for the same reasons I posted on that video: the statue seems very dynamic, the pose is so fluid, and the energy color is so vibrant. The staff and the energy wave gives the statue such a larger presence, and the toothpick portrait really shows his mischievous side. Great comparison, Gem!

I just found out about Iron studios because of your professor x statue video. Dude most of their statues are less than $200. I know they aren't premium format but they are in my price range. I just pre ordered Gambit, Wolverine and Cyclops. You are such a big help for new collectors. Much respect.

I like the sideshow one better, the face, the presence and the dynamic pose; it feels like i'm really seeing Gambit in accion!!! But some of the details of the XM studios are way better, the coat, the headband thingy, the colors and some details of the suit, the color of the wave and some minor ditails more... If i could buy one i would buy the one from sideshow

I prefer the SS pose, cards arc, and portraits, and the topper for me is the price. The high edition size of the SS piece does not bother me one bit. Again I'll say though that both statues are excellent!

I don't have a well paying job, I make enough to get by and enjoy my collection, but I can't go all out and always get the higher end stuff, so less money for me is always great. Also, I want it to match up with the Rogue statue and as you said, they both go well with her, but the SS Gambit has the matching danger room base.

Great review and I think you were spot on with everything you said and love the honesty. I actually felt the same way with the XM I was very impressed with attention to detail on that statue and I was like hold on a second this is Better than I thought and I thought the attention to detail was better executed than cyclops. They didn’t over do it . But I genuinely think it comes to taste with these statues which is why I canappreciate why you left this open ended for people to decide on what they like. Your raw honesty doesn’t change though love everything you pointed out. I think it was spot on. XM def a more realistic approach and sideshow has the cartoon comic approach. For me, it's SS... The pose got me and looks exactly like the comic and cartoon character. Less switch outs and shipping in the US cost less is a plus. The kinetic wave looks more dynamic and straight compared to XM. Some prefer realistic and others prefer to the comic. Wasn't a fan of X-men buttons on inside textures on the XM trench coat. Both awesome pieces. Tooth pick is a nice touch for SS, definitely Gambit. Sometimes XM is over achieving. Not that is a bad thing. But too much can't be good either. Awesome comparison bruddah 🤙🤙

When XM came out with their Gambit,I thought it's going to be the best Gambit out there....Than I've seen the SS one and I was blown away........ I think the pose and the base is a very smart and unique choice...... even the head sculpts are phenomenal! Quality might not be the best however,due to the huge edition size........... If someone is looking for an indefinite Gambit statue ,I think the solution would be SS Gambit with a master paint job! But due to the edition size , not wise to spend even more on it ,unless you are going to keep it forever!

I have the Sideshow Gambit on order, not sure why it has not shipped yet, as i ordered on day 1. But, I prefer the SS one because i like the portraits better, the pose and as a plus the matching base for Rogue. With less shipping costs for the US a no brainer saving cash. I gotta go with the sideshow. That dynamic pose is better. I love the darker flat colors with the black pants and most of all I hated those red buttons on the coat. The XM has the better wave for the cards but still not enough to change my mind
I like the SS Gambit better because of the pose, the outfit, the portraits and the price. Plus their Gambit will go better imo with their X-MEN line especially rogue.
