This is perfect, and just what I was looking for! I've just bought some lighting and a tripod, and have been searching UA-cam for a straight forward approach to making product videos. With the great tips in this video, I feel confident that my etsy product vids will be far more professional. Thank you! :-)
Ooo that could be an interesting video! You mean what our entire campaigns look like? It's different for everyone depending on who they are, their distribution model, what the product is and who the target market is. But if you'd like to hear more about how we develop and implement those strategies I'd be happy to jump into it in an upcoming video. Are you an amazon seller or an ecommerce store?
I'm doing an advertisement for a final project for school so I'm really stuck because I'm not the recording and producing type so thanks! Is the editing software free?
Kind of... WeVideo has a free version which will let you cut and edit your videos... however it will have some limitations on the free version which you might want to check out before you get started editing. The reason I use it in my example is it works across iOS, Android and desktop computers. However, if you have an IPhone or an iPad you might want to check out iMovie as a free alternative without limitations. Hope you video and your final project comes up awesome! You’re welcome to hit me up if you have any further questions 👍 All the best!
Great video... thanks! Also... do you have a video on where you get your music? Is there a place to get royalty free music where I can put the videos I make onto Amazon with no problems?
Great question! Are you having problems putting your videos onto amazon? There are a few royalty free sites with varying quality content. I like audioblocks flat rate subscription model. However, sometimes the content gets marketed as containing 'licensed material' even though you have the right to use it because the algorithms don't know any better. I currently use a program called Filmstro. It lets you quickly create custom music tracks. Which means I can adjust the music to suit the video I creating. I created a new video on the topic recently... You can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/REA0R9OZGsk/v-deo.html It's still unlisted at the moment but you can access it from the link above :-)
Stephen Mills Thanks for getting back to me so fast! I want to start creating 30-60 second videos for people that are selling products on Amazon. Of course I need music that will not get them in trouble when they go to upload the video....LOL. 🙂
CarrollsKitchen Cool, yeah there is certainly a growing demand for video's for amazon sellers. I get a few contacting me every week. I recommend checking out filmstro. When you export the music it gives you a 'cue sheet' which has license codes (you need to hold onto the cue sheet). But because every track is custom composed I reckon it's work better with the algorithms etc.
Stephen Mills I was wondering if I could use the music youtube allows us to use for free. I don't know if it is just royalty free for youtube or if I can use it on my amazon videos also. I am just starting out so I don't want to spend money up front... and I know there has to be lots of royalty free music that can be used.
CarrollsKitchen Yeah thats a great question. I'm not sure if creative commons licensing covers videos that are produced for commercial means. But worth looking into. Would you be interested in some amazon video leads? I get the odd person here and there who can't afford my services. If you are just starting out maybe they might be a god fit? Hit me up at millsmotion@gmail.com if your interested
