- In the Heavyweights Tug of War (5 ton class), Bobby's Dodge V10 hooks up to Caleb's single cab Powerstroke, then Kyle hooks up his crew cab Powerstroke to the Outlaw Cummins. Both of these matchups were hella good pulls!!

Tug of war at its finest right there! That's awesome!
hot damn, i got pumped as soon as that black dodge finally turned over. that was intense af!
Cummins for the win FTW! I didn't know if it was gonna start back up I was worried for it ha ha.
Haha it spent half the time on the brakes ? Pretty good win ?
Ya a good win. Ford sat on brakes only waiting for dodge to start spinning and inched forward. Coward. Dodge simply was attempting to start motor, big difference.
+John Guillot yet the dodge boy needed directions on what to do
+John Guillot you rite scary ass ford👎
tuttlepuddle fuck you powerstork is the strongest because the tire
I know it's been a while since this happened, But damnit boy that was some streight up bad ass Big Boy pulling right daarr!!!.....💪😎👍
Am I the only one that thinks pull-offs are pointless? It depends on the skill of the driver. Whatever you drive Powerstroke, Cummins, Duramax, gas. Doesnt matter, its how the power that is applied and the application of use. All are good engines. Im a Ford guy, but im the first one to tell you that Duramax and Cummins are DAMN GOOOD engines! ☺️
UnitCrane514 It's all in good fun. max and relax man lol
I truly agree indeed they are
That is so such a broad uneducated statement
Earl, how is it broad and uneducated? Please explain your bold statement.
+UnitCrane514 the Cummins, i can believe. i've had & still use the Cummins. but the Duramax, everytime i used the damn Duramax, it always either doesn't work or blows up in my face.
Not big on trucks, but this is fun to watch. And honestly, every truck in this video are bitching rides! I would love to own any one of these bad boys!! Props to the builders!
Cummins all the way! Helluva fight! One of the best tugs I've seen.
Good ole V10 just wish they had aftermarket like heads cams and intakes 😎
Well that V10 isn't stock, that's for sure! lol
damn when I saw that beast rolling over in the beginning of the video my jaw dropped so far
That had me yelling at the tv! Bad Ass video man!!
It's all about traction with these trucks
I really think that even though power stroke is strong nothing compares to Cummins
Did that guy's transfer case catch on fire?
I'm not sure but it kinda looks like he was in 2wd for part of it and I think it did catch fire
I think it's all tires for this one
Jake Kuchiki Tires and weight. On that surface, being heavy is crucial!
Jake Kuchiki yup ...Ifat ford hada right tires headda took heem
Jake Kuchiki I had a guy once tell me horsepower is what it was, weight had no affect. Lmao I asked him if a Smart car with a 600HP engine would tug a Semi with the exact same engine, he had the nerve to tell me neither would move. haha, some dumb people these days.
Pvt. Major LOL/...SO WHAT ITS JUST LOOKS HE LOST TRACKTION...LOL
+Pvt. Major its mostly torque
Why can't we do it like this where I'm from :(
1:19 TRYIN TO USE YOUR BRAKES? HELL NO YOU COMIN WITH ME
That, and 10:05 are my favorite parts
HOW COOL i love this .......which american state,or city, does this competitions happens?????someone can tell me please?Thank you
Weight+traction+ driving skills=winning!!!!
I'm a tuner car fan but I can see why people find this amusing, might have to go to a truck event next time I see one. I'm a real enthusiast, I like all build types, don't talk shit about another truck/car whatever build. a build is a build.
I don't usually care much for tug of wars but this one was fucking awesome!
Looks like some of those bad boys need gears!
Sick trucks! That's my dream right there.
Regardless of Mopar, or GM, or Ford, (and I'm a Mopar guy, have a Hemi Ram myself), this looks like scads of fun, and I only wish they did that kind of stuff here in my province in Canada
Single cab Powerstroke lookin' sharp!
So rather than arguing about which brand is better...you've got to understand that these trucks are OBVIOUSLY far from stock,so it came down to who had the best traction and built the best truck
I LOVE CUMMINS…REAL DIESEL POWER.
wasn't a cummins...
Wonka Chocolates it’s all about traction u dummy
Jacob King there is at 3:30, they swapped the v10 truck for a Cummins...... yea
Tha dodge made a hell of a comeback once it started up again
Lol would have just gave up. These trucks are awesome
dirty victory of the outlaw for being off and locked, making it impossible for the stroked to pull
is that a magnum v10 for the matching year of the truck?
The need to make the strap attachment level. The dodge and ford you can see with the ford being lower its pulling downwards on the rear if the dodge giving more traction to the tires.
Man, I love me some Cummins!
I know the guy that owns business that owns that green truck lol
the last two was one hell of a chess match!
That's awesome.
mud tires on concrete?
Why were flames shooting out of the bottom of that Powerstroke?
cause its trash
+Michael beseler ha sure thing bud
How much do one of the rigs cost you guys? I can imagine its over a years salary easy
i wanna see these pulls again.....on asphalt or in dirt that concrete pad sucks when wet and muddy
I'd love to see what these rigs could do with lockers.
Its all about the traction. We know that Cummins is a hellava engine, and can pretty much out pull any Duramaxx or Powerstroke.
You wish bud
Did outlaw legends stall?
Raptor 318 yes
I dunno if I'm crazy, but it looked like the green ford was only in 2wd while the ram was in 4wd.
I had a GF who always said that Dodge trucks had the best engines.......
She never understood that without proper tires, youre Dodge aint going no where.
GREAT PULLS THO!
God damnit man i did the same thing as you, If your tires start spinning your done even the trucks set up is far more superior
I'm a ford guy but all trucks are beautiful
love love this fricking power
what a perfect evenly matched Tug off both trucks COMPLETELY BAD ASS! both pulled the other backwards more than once it was all driver skill those trucks were evenly matched RIGS! NICE TUG! great video!
Why don't they run locked diffs?
And a little lower tire pressure for better traction ?
Because that would be the smart thing to do.
BAJATWIN Because not many companies make lockers for those axles. One of the only options is running spools or welding up the diffs but then you have problems breaking other parts and you have issues with steering.
chefdan87 actually im pretty sure they have some sort of locking diff as when on the gas both tires are spinning. Think the ford broke front right axle though. Tire never spins and when draged back with brakes on it was only tire spining.
123devinzz1
That very well may be true he broke something. But i have researched these axles when looking into what it would take to run them in my rig and the aftermarket for them is very poor. Differentials, gears, axles, seals can be a pain to get and are typically very expensive. Thats why i said most run spools"which eliminate a diff completely" or they weld up the diff essentially making a spool. These axles come out of super heavy military applications and lockers are usually avoided as they cause more wear and tear on vehicles. And the last thing the military needs is there trucks breaking down in the wrong place and the wrong time. A couple companies make lockers for these axles but they are not cheap.
chefdan87 i dont think anything about those axles are cheap ahaha. Id like to see the internals of one and see just how they work with the axle coming in from the top and what not.
I will never get back the 9min of my life that i watched of this.......
What kind of engine upgrades do these guys have?
I'm a car guy but I'm assuming these guys have turbos with rebuilt engines with low gears.
that comeback though
it dont matter about the truck, weight, tire size or any of that. its all about the driver.
For a true test do it on grated concrete not slick mudded . . . . .
Yeah Buddy!!!!
It's not about the truck, its about physics. That being said, I am a Ford fan.
Well at least the light bar works, in day time..Wow.
So what's the specs on that powerstroke?
how big are those tires on megatron?
how much horsepower do these trucks have
The power strokes tires were half the size of the cummins
are the ropes tied to the axle?
No, straps are tied to the hitch.
Videos like this just love to bring out the manufacturer fanboys.
Pull-offs are fun to watch and fun to do, but they really don't show the trucks strength over the other. The Bottom line is, the first to let his wheels spin will loose. Fact.
silly powerstroke coming to a pulling contest hahaha
its all about Traction here idiot Fords can pull
I don't like Ford's but that powerstroke was killing it
is it me or did the green ford have to go further than the dodge. and the guy in the dodge had helpers.
Whys thr guy in the Hoodie giving Directions the Guy in the Truck isnt even looking at him
I noticed the only time ford wasn't getting dragged was when it was on the brakes
like what song is at beginning with the guitar rift
whats the guitar rift from the beginning from what song
hell ya baby powerstroke
+ImABeastAtThis YT I was just saying how I like them
It's not even a cummins
ivan hernandez the dodge in second battle is u fuck tard
5:50 Dodge was letting that green ford win and then goosed it and ended it.
that was so funking good
GET EM CLEETUS!!!!
the only original part to the trucks is the frame LOL
Aaron Smith and the body
dam thoses fords where getting it bad ass pull
Wonder how he gets in it?
why there is a working disc brake on the diff?
there military axles...all the guys that build mega trucks use 2.5ton or 5ton military axles and they have pinion brakes on them
the amount of 'murica in this video is impressive
How bout them Dodge boyz!
lawd jesus its a fire
ooooo shiet cigarettes beer and lifted trucks!!!!
All I see here is proving who has more traction.
where's the V10
K Attakai In the Ram
The regular cab dodge
maybe if that cummins at the end had lockers.. all that money an no lockers
I wonder when they're going to start implementing some safety into this sport. It always concerns me the what if factor, so many thing could go wrong and kill a bunch of folks. If someone were to get a throttle hung open it could kill a large number of people in the blink of an eye. They need some guard rails at least.
+Daniel Brealey You would need a stuck throttle + broken strap/hitch + enough traction/momentum to break the posts in the ground (1:22) before you would hit a side line spectator. Now in a direct shot there's less holding them back but really people should know not to stand there in the first place.
+HowardSupra I hear ya...
ridículos this outlaw mud truck the outlaw mud truck is off to the difficult to the power stroked -_-
First gear for the win !
RAM! RAM! RAM!
The black dodge has a Duramax in it so he's not proving jack shit.
RAM Guts & Glory
Good ol dodge and their injector pumps
somebody take out the drone
V10 in 3rd gen = rare
CUMMINS FTW!
yeaahhh budddiiiieeeee
powerjoke just burned up 10 gal of fuel, Cummins 1 gal
Cliff JONES diesel*
You don't know that and your little Prius probably makes it 2 ft per gallon
Armando Gonzalez 2 feet per gallon in a Prius? Why dont you look up the gas mileage for a Prius and then come back with a correct answer
@@armandogonzalez6822 👍👍👍
@@TheLegend-dg9pe looks like your a Prius driver.
You have no traction with those tractor tires on the street.
Nice
You notice that the ford doesn't have to use a technique but the cummins does
give me military style tires instead tractor ones locked diff and a good low first and out pull them with half the weight
