Some of the best looking exterior paint I have ever seen. It really matches this car perfectly. This is a stunningly beautiful Korean sedan. I certainly would not kick it out of my driveway.
Sad to hear the G70 is ending … just got my 2024 3.3 Prestige back in June and I love it … just me & the wife so I don’t need a huge SUV … I’ll keep it 5-6 years and then see what’s next
I have a 2022 3.3T. I wish they would've made some of the upgrades that are on the GV70, but I LOVE the combo of technology and analog buttons/knobs. There's something nice about everything not being on a touchscreen.
I wish Genesis poured as much into the G70’s multiple refreshes as they did with the GV70. It’s so easy to just give it the 12.3” digital gauge cluster, the new Hyundai/Kia ccNc navigation system, and even Highway Driving Assist III to keep it competitive with the 3-Series and C-Class. There’s just something about spending $57K for 3-year old tech that won’t be upgraded OTA that bugs me.
Broseph is at the LA Show - signing autographs, taking selfies for the fans, eating tacos, shaking hands & reviewing cars. you the GOAT of auto knowledge & racing. 57
I sat in that very same car today. I KNEW you were going to zonk those cargo nets! I like that it has so many features, especially that holder for your sunglasses in the overhead console. My only gripe with it is that goofy grill, but I think you can cover the bottom point with the front license plate.
I would def get this over the 3 series. I think it’s much better looking. I know the B/S 58 is better engine but I just love the looks of the G70 so much more. It’s a shame no one is buying them and they’re discontinuing them. Same with the Stinger.
Stinger’s already dead sadly. I owned a 2020 Stinger GT1 till it was stolen. Couldn’t bring myself to get another one after going through the ordeal and bought a ‘22 m340i. Stinger is a more unique vehicle overall, and gets a fair amount of attention, not that you should buy one for that reason, was very practical (except for rear seat headroom) and rides better, but the m340i is on another level performance wise, acceleration is very hard in the bmw and handles much sharper. I wouldn’t consider those cars to be competitors because to me they feel very different. The Stinger was a great car, very underrated/under-appreciated.
@ Yeah I knew the Stinger was already done. It’s sad that hardly anyone bought them because they’re great cars. I know the BMW M340i and all M’s are much better cars performance wise but I just love the looks of the G70 much more. I prefer the F80’s looks over the G80 when it comes to BMW’s. The M340i is an amazing car tho. I’m sure you love it.
Where did you find this exact color and car? We went to the dealership and the Tazman blue was more of a blue green. I love the appearance of this car.
I just bought a 2024 3.3t. A car with two personalities. In sport +, using paddles is almost as fun as a new Vette (I said 'almost' as )fun and very capable in curvey roads. I live in Arkansas and there are few straight roads. I love this car and it handles 100+ speed solidly. I have driven the latest Corvette and Porsche 911. This is a very fun car and a 100 k kess ! I love the Vette, but for the money, this'miffed Korean' is my sweet spot.
Raiti's on a roll! Hey Joe, were there any vehicles not there that you wanted to see? I sure thought the redesigned 2026 Rav4 would be there for example.
I can’t wait till the magma editions hit the market Mad Kia Stinger vibes for the interior. - just wish they upgraded the performance with more power - true performance exhaust - fully digitize the infotainment Ugghh it’s almost perfect
Pretty sure the G70 is still a 3.3T Joe. No special edition for the last year? That's odd considering the Stinger had the Tribute edition... In terms of the age, yeah great car and I own one but Genesis hasn't kept pace with the car vs. the M340i. It's time to do a major update or discontinue now.
The car in the video is not sold in Malaysia, since there is no authorized Genesis car dealer. There is a 2020 Genesis G90 Ultimate RWD Stretch Limo, but that car is only for the motorcade.
Why don’t they place that large plastic guard on the front, just behind the grille? It would still protect the equipment and not break up the look so much.
It's rare that you make mistakes, but it's a 3.3T, not 3.5T. You're even pointing the badge while saying it! No worries your content is amazing, keep up the great work.
Not an engineer, but seems they should have tried to figure out a way to give it the more powerful 3.5T engine to remain competitive against its rivals.
It's basically a kia stinger in a more luxury look. Styling wise the stinger is prettier in my eyes especially with the rear hatch. It's a shame all these good sedans are dying. Too many laptops on wheels and off road wanna be suvs that never see an off road once. This blue color is super nice tho!
Genesis performed poorly here. It was too late to introduce the 2.5T in the G70, as the 2.0T engine felt sluggish. The 3.5 V6 engine wasn't appealing to everyone. Additionally, it lacked some key features, such as ambient lighting and a premium feel, along with basics like wireless CarPlay. These small details could have made a proactive impact and turned this well-deserved sedan into a success. P.S. I'm a former owner of the 2023 G70 Advanced.
KIA/Genesis took a risk making a sport sedan, the Stinger/G70. Specifically, Stinger put KIA on the map; we are major players. We don’t need more saturated SUVs and crossovers. Give us more sport sedans!!
Had this car been the same size as the Kia Stinger which this car was based off of and the manual was in the 6-cylinder, I would have got this. They shrunk the wheel base drastically in this from the Stinger. That backseat is about as cramped as the Mazda 3 and Chevy Camaro combined.
I would rather have a 2025 Cadillac CT5 Sport Trim with Super Cruise, and it also costs around $ 55k . (Im not talking about the Blackwing) before someone starts screaming at me.
Too bad they couldn't stretch the back seat out another 2-3 inches, I feel it's awkwardly tight. My 2016 Honda Accord was much more spacious by comparison.
OKAY!!!!! I’m confused. They killed off the stinger because they brought in the G70. Nooooooow they killing off the G70? WTF is goin on? Somebody please enlighten me

4.5 years of ownership of my 2020 Stinger, love it. It's almost paid off. Very nice car Joe, for the $$$!
This is what I love about Joe, anytime, any place, no matter how many people around, he's gonna get a review in.
I love my 2024 G70 AWD. It's fun to drive, decent MPG's on long drives, and got some good giddy up.
Sad to hear the G70 is ending … just got my 2024 3.3 Prestige back in June and I love it … just me & the wife so I don’t need a huge SUV … I’ll keep it 5-6 years and then see what’s next
G70 will reborn as G70 magma pure sports sedan like BMW M. . Also they have a specific plan to release EV car with a huge power . . For your reference
@aidenkim8711 few folks want Ev bs
I sat in this particular matte blue G70 at the show! Glad I touched the same car as Joe!

G70 ROCKS - LOVE THIS CAR ....ITS A BEAST ON THE ROAD
This is my Favorite Genesis
I’m on my 2nd G70 3.3l and loved both. Great size and performance
Broseph is at the LA Show - signing autographs, taking selfies for the fans, eating tacos, shaking hands & reviewing cars. you the GOAT of auto knowledge & racing. 57
I bought the GV70 in 2023 mainly due to the lack of rear seat room in the G70 and small trunk. Thanks for the review
Gv70 looks really good one of the best looking on the market!!

Beautiful, gorgeous car. Gorgeous color. The GV70 and the G70 are my favorite Genesis vehicles.
Love the color…I believe that’s the Burleigh blue matte color not Tasman blue.
I would def get this over the 3 series. I think it’s much better looking. I know the B/S 58 is better engine but I just love the looks of the G70 so much more. It’s a shame no one is buying them and they’re discontinuing them. Same with the Stinger.

Where did you find this exact color and car? We went to the dealership and the Tazman blue was more of a blue green. I love the appearance of this car.
@KristanBennerman the car he's reviewing is clearly matte blue and not tasman blue.
Wowzers! This car is gorgeous! Appreciate the review Joe 💯
I just bought a 2024 3.3t.
A car with two personalities.

Thanks for sharing that awesome ownership experience!
So attractive sedan and wonderful color 😊😊😊
Mine is a 2023 3.3t in Siberian Ice. I cant say enough about the car ..... beautiful inside and out and hauleth some butt.
Isn’t it a 3.3T?
Its is...3.5 would have required structural changes + crash testing.
The rear badge says 3.3T, NOT 3.5T.
I was about to get excited that they finally but the 3.5T in this car lol. I would've been surprised if true.
Yes, the grey car in the background was a 3.5 IIRC.
They dont make 3.5t in the g70 . They make 3.5t in the g80.
Joe and Lori and Steve keep up the good work real true and I love the video 👍
The blue reminds me of the Blue you get in the Alfa Giulia!
I like the way they split the front grill two grills instead of one large one
Raiti's on a roll! Hey Joe, were there any vehicles not there that you wanted to see? I sure thought the redesigned 2026 Rav4 would be there for example.
There were plenty that wasn’t there that I wanted to see. We have to wait a little longer for the RAV4

Loved my 2022, but the headlights were a nightmare. I went through 3 sets due to leaking/condensation issues. I don’t miss that at all.
What did u replace it with?
As for me, I will keep buying Genesis products forever...even if my favorite G70 is discontinued...❤
I really love this Genesis g70 I feel like this is my favorite favorite favorite favorite favorite favorite favorite favorite car
That paint looks great on it
Joe and Lori Happy Thanksgiving. I love the color and body lines. 😊😊
would def get this over the 3 series😍😍😍

Love the car Joe! But a casualty of lagging sales. Would I buy one, too tight in the back. I’d go G80 instead. Thanks for bringing it to us.
if you can afford this you can afford a m340i.. not only is g70 slower its a gas guzzler too by a long shot. Used to love this car but then I grew up.
The color isn’t the Tasman blue it’s the Burleigh blue (it’s matte). Love the video though
Thanks for the heads up
@@RaitisRides No worries I appreciate you being the only UA-camr actually cover the g70 everyone else skipped it
Compared with BMW 3 Series, Audi A4, Mercedes C Class, Tesla Model 3, Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima, Honda Accord
Why don’t they place that large plastic guard on the front, just behind the grille? It would still protect the equipment and not break up the look so much.
If you put that vehicle next to the Meche AMG C63 , you'll see the similarities on doors , windows and some angles from the sides.
it was a tough choice between this or the kia stinger i went with a gt2 stinger but this is definitely a nice looking care🔥
So it’s still the 3.3 not the 3.5, unless the badge is wrong?
The 3.3 is a better motor
Title is wrong
That woman behind you at 1:45 really wanted to get background props in the video lol.
At the 1:00 mark, this is not Tasman Blue color. Tasman Blue is a darker color
It's rare that you make mistakes, but it's a 3.3T, not 3.5T. You're even pointing the badge while saying it! No worries your content is amazing, keep up the great work.
Has there been any development in the aerodynamics of the body (better airflow through the body and chassis, lower air resistance)?. 🤔
love your videos. i’m pretty sure this is the burleigh blue matte. the tasman blue is much darker
Genesis should still make this thing. Just make the improvements people want on the next incarnation.
Why would they change to the 2.5 engine for the base if they’re going to get rid of it anyway?
Am gonna have to zonk those 2 ladies that didn’t care that Joe was getting busy
I love it and I’m going to get it. Rather have this than a bmw
This is NOT Tasman blue, my friend. I should know; I own one
Not an engineer, but seems they should have tried to figure out a way to give it the more powerful 3.5T engine to remain competitive against its rivals.
Stop discontinuing these fun small compact cars and forcing SUVs and EVs on us!!
Ppl aren’t buying so they get discontinued
What is the size of the trunk (in liters)?. 🤔
Are they replacing it with something new or just getting rid of the smaller Sedan?
The trunk is only 10.5 cu. ft, NOT 13 cu. ft. And can you tell us if it has a spare tire?
No spare in this ime
Mine does
This is not Tasman Blue. We went to dealership looking for it, and Tasman Blue is totally different
Beautiful car
I dig this color.
Color's nice but I personally hate the matte finishes that are showing up the last year or so.
@@danielhartin7680 you're not wrong, there. I think hyundai/genesis has overused the matte look
Nicest looking rims ever

For sport is not better but for comfort maybe yes
Omg, I HATE when guage clusters are a mix of analog and digital. Make it fully one or the other.
Awesome.
No update 😢
anyone know if BMW 330i are reliable? I am looking for a used one they are cheap around 30k!
Had this car been the same size as the Kia Stinger which this car was based off of and the manual was in the 6-cylinder, I would have got this.
They shrunk the wheel base drastically in this from the Stinger. That backseat is about as cramped as the Mazda 3 and Chevy Camaro combined.
Luckily I don't give a crap about my passengers. Ha ha. I wish they would come out with new 2 door coupe. :)
Nice lookin' car, not a fan of the matte finish though.
Beautiful car but I’d still take an M340i.
Wait they still sell these?
Description is still wrong, car makes 365 not 375.
Raiti where's the elusive 2025 Toyota Rav 4?
I would rather have a 2025 Cadillac CT5 Sport Trim with Super Cruise, and it also costs around $ 55k . (Im not talking about the Blackwing) before someone starts screaming at me.

Honda Accord is considered a mid sized sedan. This is a compact sedan. The G80 is the mid sized sedan.
You are comparing a midsize to a compact. Does that make sense?
LOVE the color....but I'll pass on the Genesis...
OKAY!!!!! I’m confused. They killed off the stinger because they brought in the G70. Nooooooow they killing off the G70? WTF is goin on? Somebody please enlighten me
nice facelift but no chance to beat a 340i.

When will you get to drive a magma?
Sad these sedans dying because of SUV's .
That is not Tasman Blue its Burleigh Blue Matte. C'mon bro get it right.
Nice
I think those exhaust rings completely ruin the cars look, they look tacky
Yeah ain’t no way I’m picking a Kia over a BMW
They haven't changed nothing from 2022. They don't care about the g70
Raiti, please fix ur title... This is not a 3.5.
I’ll take the BMW ALL DAY LONG
lol which one will break down first?
They are reliable cars.
