Hi, been watching your material for a couple of years. I have gone vegan, hi carb low fat, very recently raw till 4. I am 54. Been training weights and cardio since 16. No anabolics. In my 40s I squatted 212.5k, benched 150k, deadlifted 275k. But carried fat. Now I cycle one day, weights the next. I am not shrddded but feel good and would say that you can get decent results naurally, but nothing spectacular. Just do it for yourself, dont obsess and be realistic.
Definitely, comparing yourself to fitness models on heaps of steroids is a surefire road to failure.
Very funny talk, your absolutely right man! The juice is working indeed, I was doing it in my younger age more than 20 years ago. No regrets it was a funny time but still I was scared of side effects. I was weighing 165 lbs and benchpressed 300 lbs
Harley what about if you eat a lot of animals that were treated with hormones. Can this cause "steroid" like muscle growth? Of course not that much but can dairy or meat full of hormomes affect human hormones?
I think I've heard of some speculation about the hormones in meat and dairy causing puberty to occur at an earlier age.

durian i also use a hiden motor in my bike when i do races, if your not cheating your not trying. Way cheaper than steroids, plus i would be scared i would loose all my hair on roids

to be fair protein diets are better than carbs. I mean carbs will make you go and feel good. But if someone's general obsession is to get as lean and musculure as possible then protein heavy diets are better. Say 70/30 protein to carb intake and hitting the gym 3 - 5 days a week. Of course you will feel like shit and it depends on the person's genetics . Some people just don't pack on muscle well at all. But for someone who has good muscle building genetics, then they can get some decent gains without having to resort to steroids.
Give me a real life example please.
@@DurianriderCyclingTips Of course it's hard to produce real life examples because you can just claim they're juicing. And no one knows for sure if they're juicing or not unless you're their general practitioner . But I have my own experiences from working out for around 20 years on what can be accomplished and not. And with creatine and say 12 - 15% body fat. someone can get fairly swell if they have the genetics for it . Of course they won' t look like a UA-camr because they're on about 7% body fat and retaining muscle at that body fat % because of anabolics. But in general 12% - 15% body fat is lean as well. Just not world class top percentile.

The answer is a mathematical calculation. If you consume too much protein that the body can't use, it's discarded. The general consensus is that athletes have higher protein requirements and that they need between 1.2 and 1.7g per kg of body weight. It's the exercise that builds the muscle not the consumption of protein. Four clear sentences instead of 16.37 esoteric wibbling about steroids and honesty.

Hi durian, for cyclist so low daily protein intake doesn’t create problem in muscle recovery? Im 23 yo, 70 kg (10% bf), i consume 120-130gr of protein. Is that too much?
If you goal is to be faster then eat less protein for sure. You only need 30g a day.

Only seen this video now, high carb low protein low fat to go faster on a bike, I am 5.10ft and was 178 lbs but since lockdown had break off the bike, now I'm 208lbs, so if I want to drop back down, I should stay high carb and low protein, if so, man I've been slamming that protein 🤔 confused. I don’t know much about steroids, but I agree with cyclist are skinny that’s one thing I don't care for I love to ride and when I get in rhythm I loose weight but I feel way stronger even tho I am thinner, my testosterone is high but I cycle so much have hard time building fat, I don’t use powder proteins I don’t think they work that great I eat real meat, beef and cheese, peanuts, peanut butter, etc, fish,chicken, I know your vegan durian and that’s cool, but I’m from the Midwest and we function better here with real steaks 🥩 😁👍
When you eat meat in the USA then you get steroids from the meat both naturally and added.
1 gram of Protein per cm of height is a great standard to aim for.I am 193cm tall so I shoot for 200g Protein per day and enjoy the Thermic effects

Clarence Kennedy doesn’t lie about his steroid use. He’s never claimed to be natty and he’s implied on many occasions that he takes steroids. Even saying the reason he doesn’t compete is Oly lifting is because of anti doping and the fact that he wouldn’t be able to get away with his PED use while others can because of connections and money.

Those 2 are WAY different body types. Ive ridden with both of them. JA is a junior. Sagan could be a male physique model.
Sprinters body is big legs and super scrawny upper body.
