What do you mean by paying taxes on your winnings???? I thought you only pay taxes when the odds are 300-1 or greater. Sports betting is already a losing proposition for 0ver 90 percent of bettors but now the government want you taxes on it .

The odds in America seem much wider than in the UK most of the time if you bet on a favourite over here you will only get even odds (1/1 meaning if u bet £1 you win £1) or very close to it. Sometimes even minus odds e.g: betting £5 to win £4

Definitely nowhere near a professional so take this advice with a grain of salt, but my best advice is to bet on teams you watch regularly and where you have a pretty good idea how they'll play. For example, I bet on the NFL games over this weekend and lost them because it was kind of just a guess and gave me a team to root for, because I'm not a fan of any of the teams, nor do I watch them much. But when it comes to the Warriors in the NBA, I watch every game of them so winning those bets is pretty easy. I usually just do $2-$5 parlays (I'm in college so I don't have much to spend) of a couple things that will happen throughout the game and usually payout at least $40-$60 profit each game. It's nice little income, makes the games more fun to watch, and if I don't win, it's only about $2-$5 I'm out so definitely doesn't do much to the bank account.

I distrust anyone who claims to be a professional sports bettor. Because of the juice, the house has a 4% advantage, which means you have to be right 54% of the time just to break even. So you have to be right 65 to 70% of the time to make any significant profit, and you have to be using a bankroll big enough that you can live on 15% gains.

Definitely nowhere near a professional so take this advice with a grain of salt, but my best advice is to bet on teams you watch regularly and where you have a pretty good idea how they'll play. For example, I bet on the NFL games over this weekend and lost them because it was kind of just a guess and gave me a team to root for, because I'm not a fan of any of the teams, nor do I watch them much. But when it comes to the Warriors in the NBA, I watch every game of them so winning those bets is pretty easy. I usually just do $2-$5 parlays (I'm in college so I don't have much to spend) of a couple things that will happen throughout the game and usually payout at least $40-$60 profit each game. It's nice little income, makes the games more fun to watch, and if I don't win, it's only about $2-$5 I'm out so definitely doesn't do much to the bank account.
Bro don’t do it for extra side income, that’s not a good mentality. You’re not going to be able to just steadily make money, if it was that way then everyone would do it and there wouldn’t be any money to be made. There’s no way you can know that a certain team will win. There’s too many variables

Your not going to make an extra steady income betting on parlays throughout the year......you win with straight bets *which you cant do unless you have a starting bankroll of at least $500* 😊
I've been working with my client friend for a little over a year and he started with $1000 and he's a little over $2,000 and that was with me working on a 50/50 profit split.
In the beginning we were only betting $20 a game because i felt that was safe 1% per bet on a $1,000 bankroll and for the last 4 months or so I moved him up to betting $40 a game ✅
......since a did amazingly well in nba & nhl last season were moving to 4% per bet this year so $80 per game *on a $2,000 bankroll*
Anyways thats what I do and my goal is to find sports bettors like my friend who have been let down by others in the past in an effort to prove to them that I can make them money and show them why im different.

I only do 7-12 pick parlays and bet $3 and get around $150 each time.i hit 9 this year on college football on the moneylines.the best was a 9 pick with draftkings free $25 bet and cracked them for 890

I distrust anyone who claims to be a professional sports bettor. Because of the juice, the house has a 4% advantage, which means you have to be right 54% of the time just to break even. So you have to be right 65 to 70% of the time to make any significant profit, and you have to be using a bankroll big enough that you can live on 15% gains.

Bro there is serious amounts of animal abuse associated with greyhound racing I would advise not to as greyhounds are killed for simply not performing well not because of long life injury simply because they aren’t performing well obviously do what you want but if you like dogs and other animals just don’t get involved
