We feed a combination of raw, home cooked foods, and some kibble. When buying kibble, I read reviews and ingredients. Number of positive reviews and ingredients' list without suspicious ingredients - that's what we look for. Raw diet is also important. We think kibble is like fast food, so we try to give a variety of raw and home cooked foods.

Did you ask your breeder what food they give puppies now? It's important to start giving new food slowly, so the puppy doesn't have digestion problems.
They don't have to be docked unless they are working dogs (like hunting) and they can get injury when working because their tails grow to be long. Depending on people's needs we take puppies to a vet to dock tails, but leaning now towards not docking tails at all. Also, docking tails is AKC standard.
