I love the behind the scenes stuff.
Man, I’ve been going to WoO shows for 50 years and I just never really noticed how big it got until last year when I saw them at Haubstadt. I found myself looking at the big screen for qualifying times. It’s crazy. Great info!
Great show. What a life it must be to get all that set up, have a race night, load it all up and head to the next track. Rinse and repeat, over and over and over. Being a pit crew guy for years Justin would know what that is like. In my younger days I would have loved it!
That was an interesting show, never knew about all the rigs it took to put on a show, thanks
4:00.... you mentioned Wes & the WoO merch rig that he affectionately called "Big Blue". He does, or did have vlogs of his trips throughout the US on his "Living Like Outlaws" Facebook & UA-cam pages.
Wes is still doing his thing on Facebook.
Midget week, the second best week of the year in Indiana. Sprint week is #1
Awesome topic. Love some rigs.
Hopefully the second dirtvision trailer helps them focus on more drivers than just the leader alone
There’s also a big trailer used for giving away the cans of Nos Energy
Really dig the background neon!!!
Thank you for an informative view of the travelling show of vehicles and equipment on just the front of house without delving into the teams to pad out the article. Unfortunately here in Australia we don’t have anything like the US which I find quite sad because it would bring so much more to a series than just the racing. Oh we have a few big rigs but only the high budget teams can afford them.
Love the whistle stop breakfast a must have during an eldora weekend
I need a job driving one of these big rigs
Awesome info
Justin for president!
The NRA Sprint Invaders are Ohio Based. The Midwest series is the Mohrfeld Solar Sprint Invaders
you just talked about the sprint car series. im sure the late models have the same amount of equipment for their shows.
They do not. One series trailer, one merch, two DV trailers, one pace truck. No tech trailer, no event trailer, no safety truck, no show truck.
In a way I understand Tom. But with everything they have to carry it’s understandable. But their ain’t no advertisement like people being able to pull up beside a Race Car and see it on the trailer.
Still Skipped Western PA Justin lol Dave Blaney won for Christ Sake
I wish the cars were still carried on open trucks or trailers!! Yea, Yea, I know. It’s not ‘75 anymore!
Lol if not an open trailer they should have pictures of the car on it
We as racers do too. But it's so hard to bring everything we need with us to the track. They do make the split enclosed/ open trailers but many of them are $40-50000 new. Crazy expense for the weekend guy who can pick up a nice used enclosed for $6-8000
@@bad12jrlol that was meant as a wishful thing but yes sir I don't know how you guys do it but I'm so thankful that you do so spectators like us have fun just to watch
@@bad12jr oops I meant to say thanks also lol
@@bad12jr Nice enclosed trailers for 6 K ?
Those must be real beauts.
I know usually the couple places I go to Wayne county and then Sharon they usually bring the 2 seater but never got why they don’t try and do their own raffle or something for like a 5 lap ride along? Feel it be a good marketing point for them for more revenue to put back into purses equipment and other things. Just my end alone I’d throw 20 bucks in every show just to try and win a ride along with a driver.
Not sure if this is why but two seater got upside down a few years ago and lawyers might have put a stop to it 🤔
@@patbromwell8701 I could see that but I’d assume you sign a liability waiver before even stepping in but maybe someone found a loophole in it
Wish Davenport would upgrade the 1/2 mile and race on that again. I won't go to the 1/4 mile races.
It’s a memory for me. We watched WOO on the half mile maybe sometime late 80s or early 90s. I remember Steve Kinser flying past the grandstands at an unbelievable speed.
Smaller track is better
@@stevecunningham2759 My memory as a kid was Bobby Allison showing up with his Coca-Cola car. He didn't do anything, but it was fun to see.
@@Mikey85inNV That is your opinion.
First time I saw the TuRD Pro pace truck, I thought it was advertising for a a septic service.
Me too I thought they didn’t stand back and look it over. Lol
the show truck has always seemed like such a waste to drive around the country. and the 2 seater gets used like once a year.
All I can say is it is impressive, but like all sports, the spectacle has been sacrificed for almighty dollar. They, along with most other sports, have priced themselves out of the average Joe's budget. Sadly, it seems there's no end to this either. One day, they're going to pull into a track and wonder what happened to all the fans. NASCAR has seen their fan base erode steadily over the last decade. Yes, they claim sellout crowds, but the stands say otherwise. The tickets are sold to second sources or corporations to increase prices, but then never sale all of them. Any single day ticket over $50 for NASCAR Cup is too much, and a single day ticket for a sprint car race over $30 is too much.
All the “we” & “our” words gonna make the conspiracy theorist think your a independent contractor for World of Outlaws
I never referred to we or our in the entire show. Full script here: dirtrackr.com/daily/1092
I was a WRG employee for 7 years. Left in 2020.
Damn, now people resorting to making shit up. Let Justin be and just post great content that we all love. Geesh
