When i was a teenager back in small boring town, i discovered Tom and his art. Early 90s. I am now 47 and i still rock all his catalog like i am a teenager again.
THE ABSOLUTE GOAT OF EXTREME METAL.

No talent ? Tom , please, you are the originator not the imitator! And humble too. Thanx for the heavy I could not find in the early mid 80s

Whether or not consciously Tom Warrior has finally got the formula to succeed in the so called Metal scene . Basically looking for all these gaps within the genre and from there proceed to convincingly explore past exploits ;very intelligently and skillfully re working/re hashing said exploits thus filling the shoes which once belonged to bands such as Venom, Motorhead , Bathory ,early 80s UK Punk and ,perhaps above all , themselves even.
Tom Fischer might be an impressive song crafter, yet his greatest gift these days is premeditation, understanding of an audience ...I have actually witnessed this process unfold and this might be just speculation but I´m inclined to think that the late Martin Eric Ain was extremely instrumental in this broader vision I sense in all of Tom´s new exploits .
On a side note ...never in my life would I even dream of "accepting "/enjoying a reworked /re recorded version of Hellhammer songs (I pretty much despise any re recorded album I can think of ) .Having said that the way this re recording of the Hellhammer songs , which , were an "embarrassment " to Tom all throughout the 80s btw (his words , not mine ) is done extremely convincingly ...actually , so much so that I even ask myself which version is it I enjoy more when I listen to the new version of "Massacra " for example .
Meh ! You´ve got to practice your English now and then ...now that School is out (for the time being at least ) 😂 .

sorry, you're not a true celtic frost historian then. even tom has said both pronunciations are okay with him, and he himself has let out the Sell tic . @@jamesfarganne528

I met Tom in 2006 during the Monotheist tour. I personally asked him if the proper pronunciation of Celtic Frost was either sell tic or kell tic and his response was “for us it’s sell tic but in America it’s always been kell tic”. To Tom, either pronunciation was excepted. He was very down to earth and I’m glad he was very cool taking time to talk to me and taking a picture with me.
