2:01 She had *multiple* gunshot wounds to her head and the police (the husband's colleagues) didn't think it was suspicious. They even doctored the evidence and undermined the investigation to get the murdering husband/officer off of all charges. They covered-up for a murderer-officer while the murderer was the *GRANDSON* of one of the investigating officers.
Note: the officers only began to take the investigation seriously once a third party was involved: one they couldn't silence without it getting messy.
At what point do those officers, who covered up for the murderer, begin to face charges? They allowed a man to (attempt to) assassinate his wife and deprive the wife of access to her children so that the murderer could keep those children. When do *THEY* get investigated?!

They say there's no deadline for charging someone with murder so I assume the same for attempted murder? I bet his girlfriend that turned him in started to see what Jessica was dealing with & wanted out & turned him in. Glad she got out still intact. I heard one of his sons has accused this loser with being abusive & we all know most children won't say anything bad about a parent who abuses them so one can only imagine what those children are living with. I only hope people would go to the press it's amazing how the tables can turn & maybe justice will catch up to this ex cop who put so many bullets into Jessica's head. If one young girl who saw that Brittany Spears was still after years & years still under her fathers conservative ship while working, touring & her father getting a cut of her money. Until one young fan stood outside a Courthouse & then others joined "Free Brittany" which caught the News Stations & it worked. Although Jessica's case is far more serous my point is people in numbers get together & you'll have You Tubers that look @ accountability regarding corrupt police & News Stations that didn't realize the corrupt investigation that took place afterwards will be there. They might get this dangerous guy off the streets & get Jessica the justice she so deserves & maybe help getting her children back. Maybe all those who helped with the cover up will be put in the cell beside him. I still see her face today as if it happened yesterday my heart breaks for Jessica & her children who want to be with her we only have one life & this is so unjust after she fought so hard to stay alive while thinking of her children. This is just so wrong & appalling. 🙏 💔 🇨🇦

He did not care about the children by leaving them with their Mom who was attempted murder by himself awhile he had left that apartment with no supervision for children after he had shot their Mom with his police service gun. They could had found their shot Mom in closet and they could had gotten hold of his say attempted murder service gun themselves that was left behind inside the apartment when he had left. 👏

I was appalled that he walked away on what should have been attempted murder leaving her with months & months of rehab & life altering damage due to her injuries. He should be behind bars who would back a guy let alone a police officer for what he did to her? She is no threat to her children & Jessica should have her children with her 24/7.If she needs live in help with the children it should be provided by the Victims Fund if they have it in her State. This guy is a walking time bomb what police department would want to hire him he's a danger to everyone that doesn't agree with him & he comes with a badge! Shame on all those who protected him there a disgrace to humanity. I wish all the best to Jessica she's a survivor & deserves all the support she needs. Thanks for sharing this story. I have a feeling that this corrupt cop isn't any different than the others in that he likely suffered trauma during his own childhood that helped perpetuate the outcome seen in this video. Again, I firmly believe all police officers and judicial staff should be required to undergo psychological assessment screenings and have trauma informed care incorporated into their training curriculum. If we ever get to that place, I guarantee, we will see a dramatic drop in police brutality and the murders we've been witnessing over the last several years committed by police officer's hands.

I really believe that officers should be submitted to personal stress induced training to see their actions and how they resolve the conflict. To at least see if they have hallmarks of a unstable person when angry or jealous. I’m not sure how it would work given that it’s hard test them when they know they are being tested and it’s unethical to test them when they are unaware but there needs to be better testing in stress related areas

    • @deaf2819

You're absolutely right! Just recently, in the murder trial of Atatiana Jefferson, (the whole case is a super tragic story, if you don't know about it, I encourage you to read/watch info on the case) the police officer that killed her FAILED a mental evaluation that he took in the police academy. Even after he failed it, the Fort Worth Police department hired him. Like, what's the point of the test if they'll hire you regardless?? I think there needs to be a HUGE change in the hiring/recruitment/ and mental capabilities of these future officers. Some of the scariest people with the deepest, darkest motives are hired on to protect the public, and it's terrifying 😩
